  1. I bet the Bears are saving him for the Bills game. He's too busy studying up to play today.
  2. I place the blame firmly with all those whiners who cried about the Bills not being able to win close games. The Bills are trying to atone for those close losses by taking games down to the wire, instead of their usual MO of just blowing them out by the 3rd quarter. They figure that if they can make their record in close games better, they will make those butt-hurt people happier (until they find something else to complain about.) Personally, I am enjoying being 8-3 with the team we have. I actually like the humans who make up our favortite team and root for them, win or lose.
  3. We have reserved 3 tables at a place called "The American Bar". They show some games, but were unconcerned about showing the Bills... until I told them they were playing the Vikings! Now, we are guaranteed to watch the game. (At least until they figure out we are rooting again Erik the Red and his cohorts...)
  4. I am currently in Iceland hoping to find a place to watch the game. I will ask the residents of the home of Leif Erikson what actual vikings looked like and why there are so many of them prowling the streets of Buffalo this weekend. What better place is there to watch a Bills-Vikings game!
  5. I agree. We are the current nunber one seed in the AFC. And, we have the tiebreaker against the next top 3 teams by virtue of beating them. The next top 2 after that are both teams in the AFCE who we play at home in the coming weeks. We are still in the driver's seat for the top seed. If we shake off the slight funk we are in, like we usually do, we'll stay that way to the end.
  6. Well, I am suffering from the DT's, so it looked great to me...
  7. Used to be until 10 or so years ago. Now, it is only illegal to PULL and ball carrier forward, not PUSH him forward. I just read that yesterday.
  8. Since we traded Moss and a 5th or 6th for Hines, it's more like this: Singletary 3rd Moss 3rd Cook 2nd Hines 5th or 6th, plus a 3rd But I'm still okay with the trade.
  9. I did notice that after the 2 minites warning, Rodgers threw a complete pass. The receiver stayed inbounds and it took them 30 seconds to start the next play. There was no sense of urgency from what I saw. Two minutes to go and down only ten points.... Josh would be balling!
  10. I'm pretty sure my wife lobbied Congress to get this....
  11. Hmmm... Maybe I'll have to change mine to Biff Beeper. Always loved that name. Until then, I am Dave and I was a Park Ranger for 30 years.
  12. Unfortunately, common courtesy is not as common as it used to be. 🙄
  13. Maybe someone should tell Snyder about the Mint app?
  14. I agree that the defense has been playing lights out. We have some excellent players and coaches. They do need to work on ine thing though: third and long plays! Man, are they frustrating at times.
  15. I was really hoping he would get 100 yards in rushing to end that drought, but I think his effective rushing lead to the Chiefs playing the run more which loosened up the longer pass game.
  16. I can't remember. When was the last time a Bills RB had a 100 yard game?
  17. Should we give a game ball to the guy who bet $80,000 on the Chiefs? He probably can't afford to buy one for himself now.
  18. Winning this game...the way they did...everyone gets a game ball! (Maybe even McKenzie 🙄)
  19. I remember when October/November would hit and I would start thinking, "Well, it's on to Sabres season now. Nothing to see with the Bills anymore."
  20. I remember telling my friends, "Wait 'til the year after next!" (Because I knew we would suck the next year, too.....)
  21. The Rams traded two 2nd round picks for the rental of Von Miller. That worked out pretty well for them. I don't know if I'd do it for a RB with our O-line though.
  22. When the Bills went down 20-3, my wife turned her Bills cap around and declared: Rally Cap Time! The Bills scored 20 unanswered points after that. You can't overstate that amount of skill and edication. (And if someone were to ask me what I did, I smiled at her as she did this...)
  23. He probably still has the Key to the City already!
  24. True, although those injuries occurred in the Titans game when it wasn't dangerously hot. Also, I believe both players sustained neck injuries, not concussions. Or at least not suspected concussions. I don't know the procedure for when a player who gets hit in the head has to enter the "concussion protocol". Then again, it seems like no one in Miami knows that either.
