  1. Not even close to the way they gutted our D running the ball.
  2. It's great to be 11-3 and honestly if it were not for some really bad defensive mistakes this year, we surely would be 12-2 or 13-1 at this point. I said this last year and now it is a concern. I believe that Frazier's and McD's reluctance to go away from the nickel D and zone coverage, and their adaptability is going to hurt us this year in the playoffs. 1) Our D-Line got annihilated last night by Miami. And it's not the only time this year it's happened too. 2) Milano had a horrible game. Not being able to contain to the outside on run plays killed us in this game. 3) The poor LB and DB tackling has become a major issue. 3) Lack of talk on the field, safeties and the LB's cost us with opposition putting points on the board again last night on big passing plays. 4) The D has not looked good on too many occasions, like last night, and this has happened numerous times this season. Teams that have lit us up this year passing against our D, 300+ yards. Vikes, Browns, Pitt, KC Teams that have lit us up this year rushing against our D, 100+ yards Ravens, Packers, Jets, Vikes, Phins Frazier has lost his edge when it comes to preparing and executing game plans against other teams this year. This team is so set on this Nickel scheme that I don't believe this year our D will be able to be relied upon in the postseason, especially without Von & Micah. Plus I see Dorsey as a real handicap this year going into the postseason. That even makes the D's performance more important this year, than last year. Our D needs to evolve as we go to the playoffs this year. If not we are screwed. We are only going to go as far as our D is going to take us this year. JA17 is a like having Ace in the hole when playing poker. But your Ace is not always going to be there for every game. Especially in the postseason. I hope I am wrong, but if we play D as inconsistently as we did last night we are in trouble. Like I said in another post, the upcoming Cincinnati game is going to be a real test where we stack up this year going into the postseason. We will see after the Cinci game where we truly are.
  3. Pathetic 2nd half play again for this team on offense. Nothing, no adjustments, mistakes and piss poor play again from the Bills.
  4. That is really not a trick play its a wildcat play.
  5. Anyone watching the games for the past 7 weeks can clearly see that he has not been able to adjust his play calling for a complete game. All 60 minutes!!! Even JA17 on his podcast with Kyle Brant was asked if he can just make call changes at the line to change the call sent down from the OC booth. He said he can do it if there is a absolute weakness he see's prior to the snap, but generally he can't just make calls on his own. Not like what Payton manning, Brady or Drew Brees were allowed to do. So when you see these piss poor running plays called from up stairs and these passes that are thrown to receiver’s that are not the best option on the field as the play unfolds. There is only one person to blame Dorsey. He still has not learned how to utilize the talent he has in hand. Cook or Hines in the short field and let them try and get the YAC that we all know they could get if given the chance. This team is immune to screens, it hardly has any presnap motion, the running backs poor decisions sometimes just blows my mind when they make a terrible cut to the outside when they should have brought the run right up the field, this even happens when the running game is working well for us. They keep going away from the high percentage plays and recently they are forced to contend with 3rd down and forever and they can't convert them, unless they are bailed out with a penalty or a defensive screw up by the other team. When is the last time this team tried a trick play on offense??? I can't recall the last attempt anytime in the last 10 games much less 2022. Dorsey is trash as a OC. The only thing that has bailed out his sorry ass has been JA17's ability to improvise on the field. You put any other QB behind center with our OC, and this offense is in the bottom 1/3 of the league. When you have your star wide receiver having it out on the field with your head coach for everyone to see you know something is wrong.
  6. Dorsey is just flat out lacking experience as an OC. Not enough game experience as OC, and to much reading off his to do list. He is just not qualified IMO to be OC. He never was.
  7. We have to wait and see what they do against the Cincinnati first. That is going to tell where this team is right now. No win against Cinci, no chance against the Eagles.
  8. But we have a terrible OC now, so the once High Octane engine is reduced to running low octane now. We seriously need a tune up. This is a start in the right direction.
  9. Who cares what he did in the past if he can make amends in the locker room and come out on the field and maked 5 to 10 catches a game like he did before its worth it. McKenzie and Crowder sure as hell never game us a 5 to 10 catch game this year for the 8 Million we paid them. They were also at the bottom of this league in reliability when on the field when it came to catching the ball. What matters is, if Beasley can prolongs drives and gets us more of an advantage in the slot again this is a huge piece that has been missing from our game this year. Glad he's back.
  10. You know this is a business, to win and to do the job you are getting paid to do on the field. These guys are not carring their load, and in any other working environment your ass would be fired. McKenzie, Davis and any other receivers that can't catch the ball need to be cut loose. There are to many talented recievers to be had in the Draft to work with, instead of this dead weight. I have no patience with Beane when he has the oportunity to sign other talent and instead signed these guys, it has not worked at all this year and some of these contracts were questionable signings from day one. Crowder = Fail $4.0 mil contract Davis this year = Fail $4.0 Million 4 year contract McKenzie = Fail $4.4 million 2 year contract I would cut all these guys at the end of the season.
  11. Let the flaming comments commence. Like every media show has said this morning, ESPN, GMFB, this team is not going far if it does not stop looking first for the plays that give us less than a 50% chance of completing the play for positive yards. Versus the ones that are open for almost a 95% chance of completing the play for positive yards and moving the sticks. I am seeing a bad trend with this offense this year, that is going to cost us when this team gets to the payoffs. We are not taking what the other teams are giving us that could continue to extend drives. We are forcing it to much when it comes to the passing and the locations the ball is being thrown too. This team has completely lost all of its offensive edge over the competition. No one is afraid of this offense right now, and it has gotten progressively worse during the last 7 games. Dorsey is to blame and so is JA17. Josh has looked like crap the last 7 games. If it was not for his running ability the only way this team has won has been because of him running the ball when needed and getting alot of lucky breaks in a couple of games. The offense has regressed so badly that there is no team that fears us at this point and its only a matter of time until it comes back to haunt this team. The loss of Brian Daboll has been exploited for everyone to see. Dorsey is never going to be the OC that Daboll was and to think other wise is plain ignorant. This team is going to get its ass handed to them by Cincinnati, Cincinnati is now the team to beat in the AFC. There is no way this team is the favorite to come out of the AFC with the offense as putrid as it is right now. JA17 is throwing badly and it happened again yesterday. There we so many dropped balls by receivers but if you look at where the balls were thrown they were not thrown to the ideal spot to let the receiver make a attempt to catch the ball. You shouldn't need to make a circus style catch on the football all the time. This has been happening way to often this year. I don't know if JA17 can get us to a Superbowl if he continues playing this way. This is not substainable in promoting winning football against the other elite teams in the league this year. Josh and the Bills have not won anything yet and if they don't get back to playing competent football when on offense, its going to be another dissapointing post season. On last thing ESPN and GMFB commented on is that Buffalo can't even play in bad weather anymore, with this current roster. No one accept for Digg's can catch a ball on a consistent basis when the weather is not ideal. So home field is the only advantage we have, our fans. Weather is not on our side anymore. Sad but its true.
  12. When he gets waxed by the Chargers this week we will see where he sits then, with his probowl votes. He has to prove alot more against better teams.
  13. It is really tough when you dedicate so much cap money to one play like this. The when he gets hurt and put on IR you are now in CAP hell again. We really should have tried to get someone much younger than VON and now we are screwed because there is no guarantee on his rehab and time to return in 2023. Same deal with Tre. Lots of money tied up with players trying to get back to pre injury form. The jury is still out on Tre until he gets some more playing time on the field in game situations, to see where he truly is physically and performance wise.
  14. Bill Belichick is going to throw every surface tablet he can find in the locker room at halftime. 😎
  15. McD and Beane will have to make the judgement call on him soon. If he does not have the confidence to go 100% whether this is him mentally and or physically. We need to get a definitive answer before the end of the season gets here. I don't think he is coming back this year IMO. He has some sort of issue that is causing him to doubt himself. Some players can go at 85% when injured or if they have some sort if injury that is causing them discomfort while playing, knee issues are on a completely different level. His injury will likely cause him to second guess every move he makes, that includes cuts and direction changes on the field. He's either reluctant to go 100% on his repaired knee or he has had setbacks that only he and the coaches know about. He can't be thinking on every single play that he can't jump, run and then hit the brakes while in coverage with out his knee giving out. No way can anyone play that way. It's sounds as if it's truly in his head or he had some type of unforeseen set back. Either way he has not recovered enough to get back on the field right now, and he might not make it back at all this year. I would almost bet that this is the case. I tore my ACL and MCL in college and it took 2 years before I would trust running 100% without a knee brace on, and I played soccer in college. That injury took away competitive sports for me and even today 30 years later you have doubts when doing certain things that always creep back into your head about your knee.
  16. I have been saying that for 5 seasons. Out LB core is terrible. They both deserve their walking papers. OUR LB's don't even rank in the top 75 in the league. They have always been just average.
  17. I was not impressed with Crowder even when he did play, in training camp at SJF he was way to inconsistent. Now that he is on IR with a a broken ankle I don't see him playing another game as a Bill. I would rather have Beasley back at this point. Anything to try and get some type of short slot passing game established again. People may dislike Beasley but he is one tough SOB on the field and he gave us everything he had when he was on the field.
  18. Yeah I agree too. We always try to make simple process more complicated than it needs to be. You teach the guy the basic's to your offense and the rest of the play or the results after the catch are always different when you're a running back coming out of the backfield.
  19. It just pisses you off when you watch these games and then rewind some of these plays when they get down in the redzone, and when you as a fan see they have other options underneath for 5 to 8 yards in which Josh and the OC ignore, these coaches and players are not on same page. Josh and our OC constantly ignore the players that are open with a higher percentage of gaining 5 to 8 yards if it was selected. We go down there inside the 20, 1st down pass incomplete, 2nd down play a piss poor run call selection with no motion or pulling on the line that goes for 2 or 3 yards sometimes a loss of yardage up to 5 yards. The 3rd pass is incomplete because they are forcing the throw into receivers that are covered and its either incomplete or its picked off. Then the 4th down mistakes speak for themselves. There is such terrible play calling when down in the redzone the percentage of these plays working is got to be less than 40%. Everyone on this forum has seen these bone headed play calls and missed opportunities. How in the world does the OC & his assistants up in the booth watching this game not see these as we do. Then try to incorporate that into the game at some point. There is zero improvising with our OC and his play calling. It's really like watching a college OC call plays, the same stuff is called over and over that is so generic there is no chance of these plays working against a good team. Dorsey has to start realizing that he is not going to get in trouble running plays from last year's playbook that worked. Why in the world would he not continue to use what worked and then expand upon that. It's not like you are going get fined or sued for using plays that were from a previous OC that actually worked. Our coaching is really pathetic and it is the single biggest fault with this team, and it's true on both sides of the ball, Frazier does not get a free pass on this issue either for not adapting his D during games when its sorely needed.
  20. NE is going to destroy the Jets. BB will not make the bad OC coaching decisions that cost us game vs the Jets. Because NE is going to run the damn ball......Since the Bills are allergic to running the ball, which is our kryptonite.
  21. Agreed, with the amount of injuries on this team this year, nothing is a given anymore. JA17 need to stop drinking his own kool-aid. He has gotten so drunk on his popularity and success, that he seems to be lacking focus and decision making in games now. He needs an ass chewing from his coaches to get him to come back down to earth, the rest of the season. If he doesn't we are in deep trouble.
  22. He won't use his because it has no Bling!!!
  23. Covid is OVER!!!!! Time to let loose again!!!
  24. I second for putting him on IR, the rest of the year. He will not be anywhere near 100% if he comes back.
  25. Sometimes you need a little more of this to get the point through to these guys.
