  1. The fear and realization is this. We have played teams this year and made so many unforced mistakes, and had so many bad Int's, 9 turnovers in the red zone this year . Josh is costing us possessions and points. He did it again in the NE game. Down in the red zone before half time . He had a chance to get rid of that ball underneath immediately to Diggs or Cook, and he held onto the ball way too long looking for the endzone again instead of the checkdown, he got hit and and threw a pick, if he throws the ball immediately to Cook, that play probably goes for ten yards to inside the 5 yard line with 20 seconds still on the clock and two time outs. His reluctance to not take the underneath options and checkdowns is killing this team. It has happened all this year. In the playoffs you can't expect to do this and advance. This type of play is not sustainable in playoff games. You need to make the most of your opportunities and limit the bad mistakes and throws leading to red zone turnovers. He has been over throwing receivers this year a lot, and also throwing behind them as well. I can tell you Josh has done this more this year than last year. While going back and rewatching these games over again you really see these problems. He either has a timing issue this year, or he is letting go of the ball to late when the receiver is making their cut or break to the sidelines. Josh truly has all the talent in the world, but he has made some really bad mistakes this year throwing the ball. Luckily they have not cost him or this team more. 13-3 is still an huge accomplishment this year with our injuries on D. The playoffs are all about survival, costly red zone turnovers are going to eventually going to come back and bite you in the ass.
  2. There is a difference the BEARS ARE NOT CINCINNATI !! We will see in the 2nd round of playoffs. It's almost certain we get to play Cinci in round 2. I hope Frazier pulls off some Vudu magic because we are going to need it.
  3. We will see because we are on a collision course with them after the second round of wildcard games. KC is going to get the winner of the Jags Chargers game. We are going to get Cincinnati. But if you take those two TD's away from the return game yesterday, NE wins that game. Buffalo is not the same team it was last year and unfortunately not for the better either.
  4. No offense we were on our way to losing to Cincinnati on Monday night. There is no way we would have pulled that game out. They were gutting our secondary until the #3 event happened.
  5. Our secondary is so porous with so many backups and rookies that any team with experience at QB and WR is going to fillet us alive. Sushi anyone..... yeah its that bad. Cinci gutted us in the first two drives on Monday night. We are treading water in shark infested water and we are the predator any more. Next week against the Phins if Tua starts I hate to say that this game does not look good. We are down #3 at safety this time and we have a less than cohesive team of guys back there now. Frazier's ice age nickel D and his Tampa 2 D is toast, that right now is seriously broken. Too many key players being unavailable with subpar backups starting in their places. This playoff run would be okay if we did not have Dorsey but now we have 3 handicaps. Dorsey and the entire secondary and no consistent defensive pressure on the opposing QB. If we don't put up at least 30 points in every single game in the playoffs we are toast, early exit for sure. No offense to anyone on the TBD. I want to win as much as anyone. But this teams O and D strategy are not sustainable with our current players and coaching staff & personnel.
  6. Unreal!!! What else can go wrong in this game.
  7. We are screwed on D, Beane leveraged everything on Von Miller. Now that he is out, his contract is daunting and insurmountable. His cap hit for the 2022 season is just $5.15 million. That number jumps to roughly $18.7 million in 2023, and $21.2 million in 2024 It is the worst signing IMO that Buffalo has made in the past 10 years, for money like this guaranteed to a 33 year old player. His guaranteed money is going to cripple us CAP wise from fixing the key areas' that need to be addressed on this team CB, S, LB, OT, OG. Von is too old at "33" and now he has to rehab a ACL injury on top of that. Man enough said. Total risk versus reward that has blown up in our face again. We risked everything on him and now we are screwed......
  8. Absolute piss poor focus by this team today. They had everything to play for today.
  9. That play might have saved this game for us now.
  10. His redzone performance and accuracy is sorely lacking this year, big time. He needs to start reading what the other team is giving them and that's available, because his mistakes are F***ing killing this team.
  11. He is terrible in these situations this year, Forcing passes instead of the sure thing to the RB's.
  12. This entire Bills secondary is crap. They are going to get shredded by any good QB - WR combination in the playoffs. Beane 100% missed the mark this year getting competent people in the secondary. Our CB's are garbage. Even 27 is not even close to what he was before his ACL injury. 27 is no longer a #1 CB...
  13. Gotta give some credit to the Pat's for this dumpster fire of a team called the Miami Dolphins. 8-3 to 8-9 and out of the playoffs for 2023. Lol
  14. An Eagles-Bills Super Bowl with a surprise guest 5) The Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills will face off in the Super Bowl. In a shocking surprise twist, the Bills will bring on World Cup soccer star Lionel Messi as the team’s kicker, and he will boot the winning field goal in overtime. Philadelphians will erupt in anger and frustration — more so than they normally do — and city officials will be forced to instate a permanent ban on soccer. https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2023/01/01/2023-predictions-twitter-elon-musk-super-bowl-trump/10938362002/ Someone had way too much time to come up with this one!! 😄
  15. I only stated games and that had bad performances pertaining to either passing and or rushing. My god they are just stats and they are available for everyone to see if they want. Get real, this is just supplying some game data stats to the thread. These were not cumulative game stats.
  16. We will see how well Frazier makes adjustments for the Chicago game. Are they going to spy Fields all game long, like teams have been doing to Josh. I would bet Frazier is just going to roll the dice again with zero adjustments. Fields as of late has been a Lamar Jackson 2.0 Frazier does not instill any confidence for adaptability for this upcoming game.
  17. This is the NFL. It's a business. If you don't put the best person in for the job it's the managements fault. You don't win a SB with unqualified coaching personnel. Dorsey =
  18. Not even close to the way they gutted our D running the ball.
  19. It's great to be 11-3 and honestly if it were not for some really bad defensive mistakes this year, we surely would be 12-2 or 13-1 at this point. I said this last year and now it is a concern. I believe that Frazier's and McD's reluctance to go away from the nickel D and zone coverage, and their adaptability is going to hurt us this year in the playoffs. 1) Our D-Line got annihilated last night by Miami. And it's not the only time this year it's happened too. 2) Milano had a horrible game. Not being able to contain to the outside on run plays killed us in this game. 3) The poor LB and DB tackling has become a major issue. 3) Lack of talk on the field, safeties and the LB's cost us with opposition putting points on the board again last night on big passing plays. 4) The D has not looked good on too many occasions, like last night, and this has happened numerous times this season. Teams that have lit us up this year passing against our D, 300+ yards. Vikes, Browns, Pitt, KC Teams that have lit us up this year rushing against our D, 100+ yards Ravens, Packers, Jets, Vikes, Phins Frazier has lost his edge when it comes to preparing and executing game plans against other teams this year. This team is so set on this Nickel scheme that I don't believe this year our D will be able to be relied upon in the postseason, especially without Von & Micah. Plus I see Dorsey as a real handicap this year going into the postseason. That even makes the D's performance more important this year, than last year. Our D needs to evolve as we go to the playoffs this year. If not we are screwed. We are only going to go as far as our D is going to take us this year. JA17 is a like having Ace in the hole when playing poker. But your Ace is not always going to be there for every game. Especially in the postseason. I hope I am wrong, but if we play D as inconsistently as we did last night we are in trouble. Like I said in another post, the upcoming Cincinnati game is going to be a real test where we stack up this year going into the postseason. We will see after the Cinci game where we truly are.
  20. Pathetic 2nd half play again for this team on offense. Nothing, no adjustments, mistakes and piss poor play again from the Bills.
  21. That is really not a trick play its a wildcat play.
  22. Anyone watching the games for the past 7 weeks can clearly see that he has not been able to adjust his play calling for a complete game. All 60 minutes!!! Even JA17 on his podcast with Kyle Brant was asked if he can just make call changes at the line to change the call sent down from the OC booth. He said he can do it if there is a absolute weakness he see's prior to the snap, but generally he can't just make calls on his own. Not like what Payton manning, Brady or Drew Brees were allowed to do. So when you see these piss poor running plays called from up stairs and these passes that are thrown to receiver’s that are not the best option on the field as the play unfolds. There is only one person to blame Dorsey. He still has not learned how to utilize the talent he has in hand. Cook or Hines in the short field and let them try and get the YAC that we all know they could get if given the chance. This team is immune to screens, it hardly has any presnap motion, the running backs poor decisions sometimes just blows my mind when they make a terrible cut to the outside when they should have brought the run right up the field, this even happens when the running game is working well for us. They keep going away from the high percentage plays and recently they are forced to contend with 3rd down and forever and they can't convert them, unless they are bailed out with a penalty or a defensive screw up by the other team. When is the last time this team tried a trick play on offense??? I can't recall the last attempt anytime in the last 10 games much less 2022. Dorsey is trash as a OC. The only thing that has bailed out his sorry ass has been JA17's ability to improvise on the field. You put any other QB behind center with our OC, and this offense is in the bottom 1/3 of the league. When you have your star wide receiver having it out on the field with your head coach for everyone to see you know something is wrong.
  23. Dorsey is just flat out lacking experience as an OC. Not enough game experience as OC, and to much reading off his to do list. He is just not qualified IMO to be OC. He never was.
  24. We have to wait and see what they do against the Cincinnati first. That is going to tell where this team is right now. No win against Cinci, no chance against the Eagles.
  25. But we have a terrible OC now, so the once High Octane engine is reduced to running low octane now. We seriously need a tune up. This is a start in the right direction.
