We give way to much credit to McD and Beane. They both came from the Panthers & Eagles organizations that never won a Super Bowl while either of them were on these teams staff as a DC or assistant GM. So, until you get a GM and Coach with a actual Super Bowl winning pedigree, how can you expect them to win a super bowl for Buffalo ??? Pegula is truly being taken advantage of IMO. He so badly wants to believe in Beane and McD as his 2 main guys, to win a SB for him, he is blinded to what realistic expectations these two can deliver on, to a fault. There are much better GM and coaching tandems in the league that have turned around franchises in less than 5 years. Cincinnati is one of those teams. Neither one of these guys IMO will get us to a Super bowl, Beane especially, in the past five years he has put this team in worse financial CAP status then they have been in since Doug Whaley was running the show at GM. McD & Beane's FA talent assessment capability's are atrocious. Since 2019 with a $77.3 million in cap space, his only real talent contributions signed to this team, that have helped us for more than a single season can be counted on one hand. These are players that were not acquired via the draft. Poyer, Hyde, Diggs and Beasley. No one on the defensive line that Beane has signed has done squat for this team. They have all been average or below average at best, or a bust. Even the elusive unicorn "Von Miller" has been a bust. Why a bust you say??? He was was brought in to make a difference, get us over the KC hurdle, get us to a title game, get us a more dominate D-Line, get us to a SB, get us a SB win. Now the reality folks, he's injured and out until maybe Dec of 2023. God only knows when he suits up again as a starter for the Bills in 2023. He failed to do any of the above for this team last year and do you really believe a 34 year old player will accomplish these objectives for us this year coming off a ACL injury. We can't even beat Cincinnati much less KC. This move has been the biggest bust signing in this teams history and contract wise ever. Even eclipsing the Mario Williams contract and then some. Ughhh...... Yeah signing a 33 year old soon to be 34 year old guy to a unheard of 6 year $120 M & $69,960,000 guaranteed is just ridiculously stupid for one player when you already have JA 17's salary to contend with. Beane is Whaley 2.0, if not worse, like I said in another post. Since 2017 we have been elevated to just a post season playoff caliber team only with McD and Beane, 9 playoff appearances and we are 4-5 in those 9 games with no AFCCG wins. We are wasting JA's window to get this team a SB win. The clock is ticking, tic tock, tic tock........................... Yeah to all you Beane and McD lovers, you want how many more years of Beane and McD in charge at the helm for Buffalo? This all equates to a epic failure. NO SUPER BOWLS !!!!
-
Both McD and Beane both are treading in shark infested waters right now. They have had 5 years to get this right. You have had elite talent for most of those years and you have had it relatively easy with in your own division for quite a few years now. You have managed to find every possible way to lose in the playoffs and not go to the Super bowl. You have to start facing reality. The Eagles did a complete rebuild in 4 years and got to a Super bowl. KC in 2 years completely rebuilt their OL and had to bring in other fill in players and WR's and other key missing personnel and end result they won another SB. Even after letting Hill leave for Miami too. You seriously have to start looking at the GM and the Coach. They are both being portrayed as fictional saviors of this team. That they have made Buffalo a legit Super Bowl contender. Their legacy will be written this year, there is no telling how good or bad these guys will be. Trying to fix a team with serious holes with their starting talent, in 2023, because of lack of FA $ and the cap space. This all leads to losses and a decline for 2023. 1) OL broken, 2) Dline broken 3) WR# 2 & 3 are broken 4) LB core is broken 5) RB 50% broken 6) Safety position broken. It all adds up, and we now have no cap money at all. The cuts are going to be deep and detrimental. Frasier leaving is a blessing at this point. Any new DC for this coming year has to work with the the most depleted talent pool in a long long time. You can't work to replenish talent with with no money. You can only restructure so may contracts. You only have so many draft picks. Beane will need to pull a rabbit out of a hat to fix the mess this team is in now, largely due to his Irresponsible D line signings strapping this team again in cap purgatory. He is Doug Whaley 2.0. This entire D is vastly over paid underperforming talent. The entire front D line could walk as far as I am concerned. They are absolute garbage accept for Oliver and Rousseau. Beane keeps bringing in used discarded talent that underperforms, but we pay them more than any of these players prior teams would have paid them. No other teams would have offered this same talent the money that the Bills are paying these guys, period!!! Beane and McD are just a mirage that fools you into thinking you are seeing something but you really aren't. They are just as bad as a mirage in the desert. You think you keep getting closer to the Oasis but in fact you are just on a road to nowhere. That has been their performance and MO to date, we have been on a road to nowhere mixed in with some playoff wins, but no where near a SB appearance and the "holey grail " A SB win" Von Miller is not going to do jack to get this team to a super bowl. He is overpaid and he is to old to make a impact anymore. Beane had this brain fart to sign this guy and now he is coming off a knee ACL injury that will have him sitting out on IR for most of this upcoming season. I absolutely hated this signing because the money that was spent on him was sorely needed for this upcoming season 2023-2024 to replace people that were going to be gone due to FA. When you listen to this guy on his Pod cast its the same old thing, his old teammates and other players, its all about him and his money. Its not about the Bills. Its enough to make you gag an McD and Beane bought into his BS 110%. Unreal !!! I am not a person to look for all the negatives but we let a coach get away that is 10 times better than McDermott. Anyone questioning who Daboll was or what kind of coach he was, has not listened to the Giants players & their interviews that praised this guy till no end. All the commotion at the end of 2021 between him and McDermott was real. Because Daboll actually was doing his Job better as a coach than either Frasier or McD were at that time. He took the Giants from trash to playoffs in one season. Her turned D Jones into Josh Allen's- protégé. You don't hear any similar praises from our players about McDermott or Frazier. This writing has been on the wall for some time now and its there for everyone to see. People have figured out the Bills coaching on O and on D. Good teams have pushed our team all over the field and it has happened on a more consistent basis and the Bengals did it again. I have zero faith that McD will bring in outside coaching help at the DC position, but it is needed in the worst way. We are stuck in a rut on D and no end is in sight. McD, nothing against him, but he will never take us or any other team to a SB. That is a fact as bad as a lot of people don't want to hear it.

Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR
Toyo321 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
MC.D and Frazier have been in their own bubble spheres for too long. The last 5 years has been like watching paint dry, same old color, same old texture, same old crappy finish & outcome. It's time to burst the bubbles and get some new blood into our D scheme. If MC.D calls our D for us this entire year, then I can officially say...we are heading for a mess just like the past 4 years has been with our D. We have a special delivery for Mr. McDermott!! Clapping your hands does not win super bowls!!!! -
Poyer is not going to be resigned, he walks. To many other holes to fix and Micah is coming back anyway.

Trevon Diggs trying to get his brother in Dallas
Toyo321 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh all season long has been 50/50 with his passing. He throws balls that are ropes that the WR has to pry out of their chest. But then there are many balls that he threw that were behind the WR, over their heads or pathetically underthrown or flat out missed by yards and not even close. When you have a WR that has to contort his body to the point that they can't continue forward motion that is a problem. He has had this problem for two years now and this year it was worse than ever. -
The Bills are not equal or better than the Eagles team at any position, including players, coaches and team ownership. Sorry but that game today was proof. They destroyed the 49er's....It would have not mattered who was QB1 for the 49er's. Also Josh Allen can not be the entire team known as the Buffalo Bills. That model has show to be a losing philosophy. Since 2017 and counting the Bills are 4 and 5 in their post season games, that is all that matters, they are not championship caliber and never will be, with out a major coaching overhaul and personal change on the O line and D Line.

It’s obvious what ails the Bills, they’re softer than custard.
Toyo321 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
If anyone did watch the games today. It is seriously obvious that out D is outclassed, over rated, over paid and underwhelming. SF, & Eagles make our D look like college level D. We are softer than Charmin. Even KC in the AFC championship game, made huge strides to put Burrow on his ass and they played with a fire that our team completely lacks. The Offensive line is just as bad. Need some 325lb monster OT and Guards to put the other teams DT and DE on there ass. Out OL & DL is complete reflection of the ownership and coaching. Owners are passive and have no aggressive traits. Our Coach's are so gutless and always so unprepared. It is beyond any words at this point, and flat out they are garbage. -
I am sick of Frazier too. But this defense is really broken. It is not championship caliber in any way, shape or form. We are not close to SF, the Eagles, Dallas or even the Ravens on D. Our D sucks, any team that was in the playoffs that played the Vikings smoked them and won those games. But not our touted top rated D, they got torched by KIRK cough Cousins!!! Milano and Edmunds are only average linebackers they constantly choke in pressure games. Once again they were no where to be found this past Sunday. Their performances when it matters is always non existent, they both need to go. Luckily Edmunds is 75% out the door already due to the cap situation. There are a lot of other teams that are going to surpass us this coming year with free agents and the draft pics helping their rosters. But the Bills getting any better with drafting or FA signings is all now severely handicapped. Mainly due to our sorry ass scout team in charge of drafting, & talent assessment. We are so screwed in this area. I would not let our scouting team even work for a high school team, they are not even qualified to assemble talent for a high school JV football team. Our drafting scouts are a bunch of 3rd rate wana-bee's. What ever they are being paid should be paid back plus interest, they are dog crap. Our D-line sucks and so does the O-line, and Beane wants to sit on his ass and not do anything to fix area's that need to be addressed this off season. He needs to restructure contracts and free up money to get the players we need to get us there while Josh is still able to play at this level. Von Miller was the worst signing ever, we are in cap hell for the foreseeable future because of this bone headed by move Beane made to sign a 34 year old guy to this type of contract. Beane and McD have too much of Carolina written all over them and it is pathetic dealing with this type of management. The front office an coaching staff are going to ruin this teams chances to ever get to a another Super Bowl. We are on down slope for sure and our GM's address to the public & media today shows the State of OBD. Absolutely clueless and no vision for the future.

Bills will not make it to the playoffs in 2023?
Toyo321 replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall
Playoffs might not happen for us next year, wild card maybe. You have to brutally honest & real. Our cap situation is worse now than it ever was. We are at 15 to 16 million over the cap limit right now. They have 1.6 million in dead cap money to, as it stands right now. With to much cap money to tied up in Von, Allen, Milano, Tre, Dawkins, Oliver and Morse, & Hyde. The result is likely that Edmunds is gone, Motor & Poyer too. They will not pay them they can't afford it, and should not either. Draft another RB, LB and S. OL needs to be completely over hauled and draft priority for the O-Line is real, attn has to go here first. Von is going to be just like Tre White. Not 100% coming back from his ACL injury. He's is 34 and its going to be harder to rehab this time vs his last ACL injury, its to be expected. There is a strong possibility he sits out like Tre did for 10 or even 11 games next season and then when he's back where will he be capability wise, is just speculation but he is not going to be the same player he was prior to this injury. Tre White was and is a liability out there now, he is holding everyone on every play. He gets caught on TV crying about it to the Ref's, he got called for PI or D' holding in every single game since his return, two calls on him this past Sunday. These are not bad calls by the Ref's, he did it and got called for it. He is definitely has to work this off season to get back to where he was before his injury. This entire team has over paid under achieving player talent problems and major coaching issues. You are not going to beat Miami, NYJ, Eagles, Washington, Dallas, Chargers, Jags, KC and the Bengals with this team as it sits right now with out making major changes on the roster, & without a new OC and DC. All these other teams are only getting better while our O-Line is an abomination and our D-Line couldn't sack a QB that was on on the field with crutches at this point. Beane put us in this situation, McD is to stupid to realize that our OC is way under qualified and that DC philosophy has been figured out by other teams now. It really was an embarrassment how McD just talks his way through his press conf yesterday. He is truly clueless, and he has lost a lot off respect from myself and other Bills fans too. He is expendable IMO. -
The problem with Buffalo, is for the longest time they had no competent offensive management or good draft personnel or expertise to get better. They still don't. 1) Bad coaches before 2017 <= McD is not the coach to take us to a SB, his past and recent results are not doing anything to exempt him from being replaced at this point. He is officially in the hot seat now for 2023-2024. He is a defensive guy and always will be. It's his D scheme that got lit up yesterday, and Frazier is just his puppet. We need a offensive coach with real defensive coordinator. 2) What talent have the Bills drafted that are top 100 IMPACT offensive players except for Allen, since 2014 that are still with this team. No one. Whaley brought in some impact players but they are all gone now so I will exclude them. Beane changed everything and went soft and speedy, instead of tough and in your face and fast. No one they have drafted can be called a impact player accept for Allen. Personally Milano should have never gotten a contract extension. Edmunds is gone after this year because of the cap problems caused with Von and Josh's contracts. Tre White had two good years and he is a fraction of what he once was since his ACL injury. He is no longer a impact player like he once was. He is now a liability back there holding on almost every single play. Our offensive line is worse that swiss cheese. The draft mentality of taking questionable offensive line talent in the draft for the last ten years is coming back to haunt this team, our O-line is the walking dead of the top 5 AFC teams. We have no true #2 starting receiver. Our running backs are a result of a bad O-Line so they will get a pass but Motor needs to go. To inconsistent and not worth any money to keep him. Cook will have to be his replacement. We can draft another RB#2. Dawkins, Brown and Doyle are not Elite by any means. Ford thank god was traded. The defensive line is another epic fail. Not one game changer drafted that are even in the top NFL 150 players. Oliver, Rousseau, Basham, Epenesa, Lawson are also not even close to elite talent. It showed yesterday too. They could not even get a whiff of Burrow yesterday. Against good Offensive lines our front D-Line is absolute garbage. Von was 1 guy, and just 1 guy is not going to get us to a SB, OBD better be listening to all the feedback from all the NFL experts today. They are right. Case in point JA17 is one guy and we are not even close to competing with Cinci or KC at this point with this roster. Josh had also taken a huge step backwards this year and it can be seen on the field too. He is nervous with his throws, they are low, behind, off target, or over thrown. And last but not least, Interceptions. He does makes some great throws, but 50% of the time his throws are not ideal or in the right place for a receiver to catch it and get YAC yards. Burrow did not have those issues yesterday. Say what you want, Josh is not better than Burrow or Mahomes. One player does not make this team an elite SB level team.

Neither of these clowns have any credibility anymore after this fiasco of a game today!!!!!

McBeane's investment in the D Line last five seasons
Toyo321 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I said this weeks ago that Von was a huge signing mistake, way to much money for a 34 year old and way, way to much guaranteed money too. I could not believe all the disagree & vomit reactions I got to that post. Well guess what, to all those critics, now I would like to say!!!! -
Our entire front office and coaching staff is an discarded extension of the Carolina Panthers. Beane and McD are all hand me downs from the Panthers organization. These guys are just wanna bee's that had experience with the Panthers organization, the Panthers got to a couple super bowl's but fell short.. But as we all can see, we are good but no where good enough to get to a SB as this team sits right now. Sad but true.

Every single coach on this team deserves this!!!

McDermott The Only Defensive Head Coach in Divisional Round
Toyo321 replied to ArtVandalay's topic in The Stadium Wall
The team needs to go into coaching rebuild mode. It's coaching have not worked in past 5 years and it will not work in the next 5 years to come. -
You need to snap out of it!! Not going to happen!!

How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?
Toyo321 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buffalo has to get to Burrow in this game, their OL is probably in its worse-shape than it has been all year long. If we get to him then our chances are really good. If we don't it could be a 50-50 pick-em game. Out D has to out play them or we really will have bad time shutting them down. Oliver needs to go Beast Mode. The Ravens were all over Burrow in last weeks game and they all most pulled it out. If we can come close to replicating what their D did we are in the drivers seat, our O is way better than the Ravens anyway. GO Bills!! -

Allen has turned into his own worst enemy. He believes football 101 does not apply to him anymore. He needs to read the hot routes much faster than he is doing. He's reacting way to slow. -

No Josh struggled. He has not learned anything in 4 years. His three TO's kept Miami in this game. Although the one INT is iffy. Those two balls should never have been thrown. -
Don't look now, but Bills rounding into playoff shape.
Toyo321 replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everything I said was "Hypothetical" Allen takes more risks down field and forces the ball into coverages that he shouldn't and the results this year has been more INT's and more dropped passes. We were one of the worst teams in dropped passes this year and a lot of these passes were forced throws by Allen. So it does matter. If he continues to overlook the checkdowns like he has it will cost us. Matter of fact if he doesn't throw all those pic's we probably are the #1 seed this year. That is the truth right there. Turnovers matter the most when figuring the outcome in playoff games, who gets the win. I hope you are ready for some bad news. If Josh throws more int's in the redzone this postseason this team does not make it out of the AFC and advance. They won't even get to the AFCCG if he throws more pics in the redzone this postseason. KC and Cinci can go toe to toe and point for point with Buffalo. We do not have the advantage on offense this year. There is a clear line being drawn in the sand right now, and that is where our defense has to step it up this postseason. If we play less than 100% in any quarters like we have this year where we have stunk the joint out in some games this year, we will lose to either Cinci or KC. And that is fact, in a football perspective. -
Don't look now, but Bills rounding into playoff shape.
Toyo321 replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
We have been lucky to overcome his 14 ints and be 13-3. It is not good football, when you are in the redzone and have 9 picks when down there. Lets see hypothetical possible points lost due to int's in the redzone 9 x 7 = 63 Lets see hypothetical possible points lost due to total int's 14 x 7 =98 Thats alot of potential lost scoring that could have factored in on some very close games this year. Especially the losses to the Jets and Vikings this year. 4 total int's in those two games alone. When you have the other team "Jets" & its players in the opposing locker room saying they knew Josh was going to throw the ball there before it happened what does that tell you. Ken Dorsey is a liability this year when last year we did not have this liability at the OC position, with Daboll. Other teams with good defenses have figured out this team offensively down in the redzone. If you figure that the competition level is only going to increase going forward we will see if your words hold merit. That makes it even more critical to not to make these mistakes in this years playoff run. We are lucky and blessed to have Josh on this team but this year he has to understand that he is 100% "not superman", and when it comes to ball possession, that is the most important area that needs to be addressed by him this postseason. We are back to square one again, its playoff time. Our record is 0-0. Nothing else matters going forward. What matters is getting to 4-0 that means Super Bowl LVII winner.
