  1. When I played in HS, there were a couple of small schools where a few of their guys had to play both ways. Had less than 22. But, that was in the 70s, so things may have been much different. Perhaps it was a population thing.
  2. Maybe this will make Drake Maye think he's seeing ghosts.
  3. Me: "Madison Beer" Madison "Get your own damn beer"
  4. That approach works against bad, or even average teams. But in the playoffs, the teams you're playing against can overcome that approach. Those teams know how to finish drives. And then you're in a shooting match. We've seen that all too often.
  5. That's a good stat, but you need 10 yards for a 1st down. Not trying to be flippant. Just speaking to what the comment below mentions.
  6. I can't remember the last time our defense was dominant. If the Bills are blowing out a team, it's because the offense is lighting up the scoreboard, not the defense shutting down the opponent. Opponents have been staying in games because they can consistently move the ball. Very consistently.
  7. Someone should dress like Waldo, so we can finally find him.
  8. I've never seen a player so elated to have a season, potentially career ending injury. He must have a very favorable injury clause in his contract. He's watched Deshawn Watson the last couple of years and said, "I want that gig!"
  9. Bills are 2nd worst in the league at rushing yards allowed. 657 with 164.3 / gm. Second worst to the Bears at 658; 164.5 / gm.
  10. I'm gonna give it an "incomplete."
  11. It's good, but I've gotta have more 4-0!
  12. Those statements just closed the deal for me. I'm sold!!
  13. The halftime show for me is; getting a cold beer, cleaning out the garage, doing my taxes.....anything but the halftime show.
  14. Let's just stop punting.
  15. I mentioned this last night, but I think we have to accept the fact that Milano will not be available when we get to the stretch run and in to the playoffs. Hopefully the run D gets better when the suspended guys are back and maybe Walker continues to play well I had a thought last night that perhaps the offense seems pretty basic and looks a little bland is because they're just trying to get through these seemingly easy stretch of games. Hopefully Brady opens things up when games are needed for the 1-seed and in to the playoffs.
  16. I wanted Ravens to win today. They didn't. I think they're nearly cooked. Lamar's injury was either the coaches sitting him to save him, or him giving up. Either way, it just became a 2-horse race with the Chargers loss. So, McDermott's nemesis may come back to bite us again. And if that happens......well, it depends on how, but I'll be out on McD. They've been playing down to their opponents the last 2 weeks, it seems. Just too weak.
  17. I'd like to see the offense open up a bit. I understand a balanced offense approach, and Cook is tearing it up, but this offense lacks flare and creativity lately. Games we thought, and maybe should have been easy, haven't been.
  18. They definitely need to bring people in. The injury was to his non-kicking leg, so stability is an issue. Not that the kicking leg would change things, but planting to get leverage for the kick is huge.
  19. We know who the Super Bowl halftime show is.....yay
  20. It's been rough! Maybe when the suspensions get back, it'll add some additional options. Oliver back will help, but I'm not counting on Milano for any significant time for the rest of the season. He'll get back, but for how long? I'd just rather write him off at this point.
  21. I don't know about that, but every time Allen breaks off a huge run, I've learned to relax. That huge run followed by the Kincaid TD sealed it for me. I turned to a buddy and said 'the games over'. Whenever Allen busts a huge run, he is so dialed-in.
  22. Was he also reading from a teleprompter. He didn't look at the camera during the entire opening bit. It was slightly off to his right.
  23. Agreed. But I wouldn't do them for the first couple of weeks. Make sure no kinks pop-up. It would be really unfortunate if they started the broadcast with the crew complimenting the new stadium and all the power goes out. On second thought, I really don't care for all of the night commentators (except for Mike Tirico) so, maybe doesn't matter.
