  1. heart beat
  2. Oline is where it is at. If Josh has time, any five Jags at WR will be just fine.
  3. Mitch should retire. The Bills should have the goal of having a better Oline than the Chiefs and a better oline for the Bengals next year. Anything short of that as the gaol is malpractice.
  4. Kirk Cousins is the quintessential average QB. PFF ranks him 13th 7 spots below the Minnesota defense as a whole. So he is a minus 7. Josh is a +13. You are probably pretty accurate in your 4-10 assessment of the Bills without Josh.
  5. There was a pretty good heated discussion after the game last night between 2 of the NFL Network commentators after the game. One person was pretty animated that Allen was the best, and that there are quite a few QBs you could drop into the Eagles and have a great team. His point was that the Bills were not even a contender without Allen. The other person eventually conceded Allen was better, but only becaue he was more experienced. So if the voters have similar views and don't grade on a curve to accomodate experience maybe Josh will win over the voters.
  6. People that don't understand things really do have trouble incorporating the type of data PFF provides into their thinking. So I understand why you don't want to consider PFF.
  7. Which conclusion do you disagree with. 1)Josh is the Best 2) He gets the least support of the Top QBs. ?
  8. For better or worse PFF is the only place that publically grades every player at every position. Going into this week these are the grades for the Top Offenses and the Top QBs: Josh Allen as the #1 QB in the NFL. The Bills offense is Graded 14th. Lets look at the gaps for the other top teams in the NFL. Mahomes #2, Chiefs Offense #2. Jalen Hurts #3, Eagles Offense #1. Joe Burrow #4, Bengals Offense #4. Tua #5 Dophins Offense #5.
  9. You comment is an accurate recitation of the facts. PFF (which I realize we are required to hate) grades Josh Allen as the #1 QB in the NFL. Kirk Cousins is the Anti-Josh. Cousin's is ranked 13th, while the Vikings offense is ranked 6th.
  10. Even though Josh is Superman, he lives by the Spiderman ethos: "With great power comes great responsibility". This guy is arguably the best role model of anyone in the NFL.
  11. Can Beasley beef up and play center?
  12. Clearly Singletary does not trust the defense as much as he does the Offense and Bass.
  13. Its a results oriented business. Making it to the championship game is ALWAYS greater success than not making it to the championship game. No matter how you twist is up in your head, the results are the results.
  14. Ok. That is one of the reasons the team took a step back. But 2021 was less successful than 2020. Simple indisputable fact. Not sure why this troubles people to accept.
  15. Dorsey and Frazier are the antidotes. But the reality is the Bengals are the defending AFC champions and have beaten the chiefs 3 times in a row. They are a tough out.
  16. If and buts. Bills were more successful in 2020 than 2021. Simple indisputable face.
  17. Last year we went on to take a step back by losing in the divisional round of the playoffs. Last year kind of sucked.
  18. So really only a couple of years wther the defenses made a significant difference. Mostly its the QB's and offense.
  19. I used to be an anti-dome guy. But its become clear its a better product in person and on TV when the weather is not a factor in the game. Now that the Bills are a top tier team, the randomness introduced by the weather works against them. It really does.
  20. Did Beasley steal the playbook pages with the slants and crossing routes? Will he be bringing them back?
  21. 43 years ago if you denounced a Jewish persons Old Testament religous beliefs, you would have been considered a bigot. Now people accuse of Jewish person with those exact same religous beliefs of being a bigot. Words that are so fluid become less meaningful.
  22. Good list. Only problem is with F, is that there is not anything close to universal agreement on what compromises bigotry. So we all agree its bad, we just don't tend to agree on what it is.
  23. Not really any evidence of that in recent years in terms of wins and losses. Offense wins regular season games. Offense wins Championships. Offense wins Super Bowls. Thats the rule. There are a small handful of exceptions in this century to prove the rule.
  24. Two years ago we played in the AFC championship game. Last year we took a step back and lost in the divisional round. Not clear to me that is "amazing". I found it more "disappointing".
