You have this all wrong. Allen is clearly good enough to win a SB. You could plug and play him on any playoff team, and have a good chance. The rest of the team if far more concerning than Allen.

The Bengals are as good as Cincy Chili. The Bills are as good as Bar-Bill Wings. In other words no comparison

A general theme with the Bills is that Allen is so good, it hides all kinds of deficiencies elsewhere on the team.

Defense has its own question marks.

Its not your imagination. PFF ranks the Bills oline 22nd in the league in pass blocking. And 28th in run blocking. It is a bad unit. (good news, Bengals oline sucks too) Bills receivers are ranked 14th. (Bad news Chiefs and Bengals are ranked 3rd and 4th). Bengals and Chiefs are ranked 1st and second in passing. Bills are ranked fifth. Allen-Burrows-Mahomes are all about equally talented. Allen has far less to work with overall.

With the extended schedule, the NFL should consider having each team play one game against every other team in their conference plus three against the other conference. With the elimination of pre-season, start the season with each teams 3 interconference games (least important for tiebreakers) and finish the season playing the three teams in thier division when the games are the most critical. This system makes its so that every team in a conference has a very similar strength of schedule. Its just too silly to have the dispartiy in SOS that exists now.

We have a sample size of 1 game of Josh playing in Lake Mighigan high winds in sub-zero wind chills. He won. Not sure it is a representative statistical game. Part of me thinks he could have been almost as good as Dak Prescott (not that anyone can every truly reach the heights that are Dak Prescott) yesterday if he had played in relatively warm and windless Dallas.
