  1. Not having a dome will prevent this team from winning a Super Bowl and eventually Allen will move on.
  2. OBJ and Rodgers together has the potential to destroy the Jets internally at the first sign of struggle/frustration. But it also has the potential to make them really freaking good, so, it's a double edged sword.
  3. Things are getting too spicy for the pepper!
  4. Should be in prison.
  5. One of the most insufferable players in the league. Saints are paying way too much for this guy.
  6. Just think, if defense has a lights out year, we don't have to deal with Frazier ever again. Really really hoping somebody aggressive takes this over for the coming season.
  7. Lol sure. Go back and include the teams that play in near perfect weather year round, dome or not. Just bizarre that so many on here are in denial that it would help us. You can admit that while at the same time acknowledging that Pegula isn't going to make it happen.
  8. You're kidding yourself if top tier players don't consider the playing conditions here in Buffalo. Particularly offensive players, and particularly in a league where stats are treated as gospel. You think a killer WR or RB isn't not exactly stoked on having frozen hands and a ***** field for 25-30% of their season? It's embarrassing that these things have to be complained about on an internet message board. Folks can say what they want, debate the merits of how Buffalo football should look, and apparently this whole thing is set in stone and we're all pissing in the wind here, but at the end of the day, Terry is doing the bare minimum to keep the team here for the time being. That's his focus. What bothers me is that his focus is not doing everything possible to help the team succeed and achieve greatness. Football is a game of control. This open air situation gives up a lot of that, and it's doing so when there are multiple instances of weather and wind screwing this team in ways that other teams simply do not get screwed. It is conceding to a detrimental factor when absolutely everything to do otherwise should be being done. And to me that's weak. And it's concerning. It gives me a bit of an ominous feeling toward the future of the team, and for the city of Buffalo altogether. I can only pray we get lucky even just once and are able to overcome these issues and get a Lombardi. If somehow we still don't, don't be surprised if there are moments in that season where playing conditions determined the outcome of a game that would have put us in a better position to do so. I love outdoor ball just as much as the old timers here, but I love to see the Bills win even more.
  9. Pretty much sums it up. This could and should have been done much differently. But hey, who knows! Maybe this State of the Art totally incredible and entirely adequate stadium will cause an Orchard Park boom! Besides, haven't you heard? Football was made to be played outside, even if the outside conditions completely cripple your team's strengths and devastate the surrounding communities.
  10. Comments like this are hilarious. Folks simply incapable of utilizing critical thinking to recognize that the weather/wind situation in Buffalo is dramatically different from almost everywhere else in the ENTIRE league, let alone Cinci. Just hilarious.
  11. It's baffling and frustrating that people still don't realize this. Honestly disappointing to see so much animosity against a domed stadium on here. At some point in time, very likely multiple times, this will screw us badly. Football purists will continue to say "That's fine, football is meant to be played outdoors!" Meanwhile teams with great weather and indoor playing conditions will continue to put up record breaking offensive numbers. Deeply, deeply disappointed in ownership here. There is no reason not to have a dome, other than the financial side of it, which is generally inconsequential to Pegula and his investment would only be more readily recouped if he went through with that. Oh well. There are no good billionaires.
  12. This is the correct take. Sure, it was technically a hold. But such behavior had been allowed all game long. The arbitrary enforcement was horrendous, and the timing of the call to essentially determine the winner is inexcusable. The worst part is there won't be any real fallout from this. Nothing will change in regards to referees or officiating overall. It's just brutal. I can't stand either franchise, but moments like that don't exactl help what integrity the game has left, and it's already problematic enough. There's got to be a better way, and I'm sure that there is, but the league simply won't give a ***** until they really notice it in their bottom line. And I'm pretty sure profits are at an all time high. Maybe I'm too young in my 30s and it's always been like this, or worse. But now with as many technological aspects for possible solutions there are, combined with the league going all in on unholy amounts of gambling, something needs to change. It's got to be tightened up.
  13. i think that was the most mediocre super bowl i’ve ever seen. no heart whatsoever. philly got robbed
  14. these announcers are legit the worst i’ve heard all year. what the hell
  15. was happening in the first half. absolutely shameful it’s bad tonight. and every other week of the season
  16. Yeah, I'm of the opinion 'there are no good billionaires,' but that part wrecked me. Pretty much the plot of The Notebook. Hopefully Kim continues to improve. She's fortunate enough to have access to every possible treatment, both established and experimental. And there's been some incredible research and development the last couple years in the realm of improving cognitive function after a TBI or other such event. I don't think that any other team in the league has the kind of ownership and community that the Bills do. What an unbelievable season. I pray we don't have to go through another one like this for a long, long time, if ever again.
  17. I saw this earlier and avoided making a thread myself. He's dope. There's no way we sign him for what he wants. But if there's any way we could and if the opportunity was there. We should. He'll sign with some trash asss team like the Broncos or Raiders or Jets. We'll keep dreaming for a Gabe Davis replacement.
  18. I've seen numerous comments saying that the design of the new stadium will greatly minimize wind and weather, so maybe it won't be imossible to maintain? Seems like wishful thinking though.
  19. Wow, imagine having your teams coaches wait until after they're out of the playoffs to interview for other teams.
  20. This is ***** disgusting to allow happen in the playoffs. Let alone 3 times back to back to back. Those are basically college offense numbers that our D is allowing. Gross.
  21. Good lord, I knew it was bad but this is brutal. A testament to Allen and the rest of the offense for doing as much as they did in spite of this.
  22. Both extremely solid points and I agree entirely. There's a reason why playoff rematches of regular season games are usually next level football. The teams have an intimate sort of nuance for the opponent, both on individual and larger scheme levels. I also believe this is why we struggled against the Dolphins in the wild card round. Both of the regular season matchups against them were just odd games, with unique injuries and playing conditions leading to all 3 of the Bills/Dolphins games feeling very different from one to the other. I wouldn't be surprised if we went into this last Bengals game with the game plan that was essentially what it was during the canceled game when Hamlin was hurt. You'd gotta think that if that game had been played, regardless of whether or not we lost, the plan would have significant adjustments. The Bills could only do so much and the Bengals came more prepared than we were, and we lost. Also I believe that if somehow we had laid a dud against the Pats in the final week instead of having an incredible, overwhelming win, we still might be in this thing. Oh well. Next year.
  23. Football is a game of holes and penetration.
  24. There are people in this thread straight up questioning that it was actually Hamlin at the game. Genuinely some of the dumbest comments I have seen in the history of this board. I’m upset about the loss also but goddamn, look in the mirror at yourself and say what you just said. Buhhhh I wonder if it was actually even really Damar buhhhh. Please don’t ever have children. Critical thinking in this country is dead. We have far greater problems than winning a Super Bowl.
