How come? Honestly, I hope that Apple gets the rights to this. When it comes to streaming services and the quality of the experience, there's nobody who does it better. All the glitches and crap quality that we've dealt with over the years from other providers will be a thing of the past. I understand the hesitance toward the brand (to an extent), but truthfully, Apple being the company to deliver this kind of product will push the entire sports broadcasting field that much further ahead and raise the bar for every other sports broadcasting service, feature, or network that exists. I cannot stress enough the quality and stability of everything that's a part of the Apple TV experience. Not to mention all year long there are promos for months and months of free service. You don't get that with Amazon. That said, it's ***** disgusting that to watch an entire season you have to have services for Amazon, ESPN, NBC, CBS, Fox, NFL Network, and probably one or two things I'm forgetting. It's well past time for an all in one or a pay as you view sort of feature.

There is definitely a different appreciation for the game sticking with a terrible team during your formative years and finally tasting success, versus being spoiled all that time with a dynasty that will likely never be repeated. Interesting perspectives.

Yeah, that's fair. What a lot of people who haven't lived in a cold climate don't realize about the impact of the environment, is that it's not actually a physical problem, but a mental one. These guys can still physically perform the same in the cold, but when it's something new to you, you're constantly thinking about it in your head, and that takes away from the focus of just going through the motions as you normally would. People who live and operate in such an environment go about their business without thinking "holy ***** it's so cold" every 30 seconds when they're out in it. I'd be curious to see just how often teams actually practice in cold weather outside vs their performance during that time of year. Wouldn't be the easiest study to quantify, but I bet there'd be a positive connection. Anyways, if we get the 1 seed, those dudes need to be living outside during the Bye week.
