Damn that was a good play.

They lose out and the Vikings win out.

Philly has a legit chance of blowing the 1 seed.

Let’s goooooo Broncos!!!!!

oh my god

Good lord the Broncos offense is shameful.
-
Oh hell yeah. Thank you Mahomes. If the Broncos can get any rhythm on offense at all they really can win this game.

If Somehow Hyde Returns, We Win The Super Bowl
Dick_Cheney replied to Dick_Cheney's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol Davis. come on. he's still a WR2. between Josh's elbow and Dorsey's dog piss play calling. he should be in a better spot than he is. clearly the other players won't be returning. Hyde medically has a shot. you can't tell me he's not better than what we've been putting on the field in the meantime. maybe i'm totally wrong and that's fine and whatever. but i do hope he's being honest in his possibility to return. -
What song gets you pumped up for Bills football?

let's ***** gooooooooooo what is this unavailable BS -
This is a weird one. Hyde is down to earth and he knows how much the fanbase appreciates him. I do not believe he would be saying the things he has said the past few weeks about potentially returning if it was not actually, legitimately possible or likely for him to do so. That said, as the title states, I believe if he does indeed return by the start of the playoffs, we finally, finally win it all. If he was playing this week, I don't think we would be as tense as we are about the Bengals game. This guy is elite and he changes how teams plan before the game, and he changes what happens during the game. We've done alright in his absence but damn, there's a confidence and a swagger when he's on the field. Anyways. If he comes back while we're still in it, regardless of us getting the number 1 overall seed, I do believe we go the distance and win the Super Bowl.

Hot hand fallacy. Every game is its own specific event. Streaks are meaningless, all things considered. Please don't read into this. Surprised it took this long for somebody to mention such a concept. Sure, it takes a bit of luck/probability for everything to shake out that way, but it doesn't mean anything. A streak in the regular season has no bearing on the post season. Teams that will lose in the final week will be in the playoffs, and they require the same new streak as everyone other than the 1 seeds. That said, obviously I hope the Bills pull this off and believe they are fully capable. Monday night will show us.

The Titans are horrible.

Chris Simms says whoever Tre is covering will be open
Dick_Cheney replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Reverse psychology. Simms is actually trying to hype up White so that he returns to form even quicker. Thank you Simms! -
If I had to guess, Allen probably caught wind of Burrow talking ***** about him, considering Burrow is much more of a cocky hot shot sort of guy than Allen usually comes off as. That, combined with Burrow making it to a Super Bowl before Allen, could definitely lead to some irritation between the two. I think that Allen and Mahomes have a genuine respect and appreciation for one another. The fact that Allen has to straight up come out and say that he respects Burrow, that tells me a lot.

This is what we call getting "owned." Good response lol.

Really fantastic post.

This is true, but they also now have a Head Coach who has a ring. Crazier things have happened.

Garbage ass QB play to that degree immediately after having your head driven into the dirt, however, is. I get what you're saying, but come on. It's obvious.

He exhibited symtpoms as soon as he started throwing the ball again.

I agree. I still think it's pretty messed up what happened to Josh in the Green Bay game, and nobody officially said anything about it. That said, these things do happen on a spectrum, although even a minor concussion is not something to mess around with. If what happened to Tua had happened to Josh, especially the hit that sent Tua into a near seizure on the turf, I genuinely would not have felt great about him coming back at any point this year. Sure, it's easy to say that from a spectator standpoint discussing a hypothetical, but it's a hypothetical until it isn't. That's the kind of hit that takes years off of a man's life, and although I want a Super Bowl as badly as a Bills fan can want a Super Bowl, I'm still able to take a step back and say that it is not worth a person's life. We've been lucky thus far and I hope it stays that way. Every game is a gamble for these guys, and they know the stakes better than anyone, but still. It can't be easy to walk away when you have the pressure of an organization and millions of fans demanding your performance. It's sad to say, but it's almost in Tua's best interest for one more bad hit to happen that really, finally puts things into perspective and he reconsiders what he's doing.

Yeah, I "only" had two that I was officially aware of. That was enough for me and I didn't go past high school. I knew I wasn't ever gonna go further than that, and having those cobwebs get worse each time wasn't worth it for me. That said, if I was getting paid millions upon millions of dollars, it's a different story.

Dude is headed down a very, very dark road, even if we don't see it soon. Same with Morse, I fear. I very much hope that intensive research continues on CTE and developing treatments for it. I will honestly never forget him getting concussed like 5 days after we played the Phins, and he went into a fencing posture. These guys are paying a very, very fûcking high price.
