  1. Beane has done a nice job managing the Cap. He has already said many times that building thru the draft is how they will build their foundation. We won't be able to pay everybody when it comes to our own FA so hopefully Beane has more hits then misses when it comes to the draft.
  2. Josh is what 24?. Already back to back playoff seasons, a division championship, and two playoff wins. These experiences both the wins and losses in big games will serve him well going forward. The team is learning how to win and winning a championship is one of the hardest things to do. This was a great year for Josh and the team overall.
  3. Having Josh's stats decline next season could actually be a good thing if it means we have developed a strong running game. Josh was asked to do way to much throwing all the time. I get its a QB driven league but you still have to be able to run the ball. If the Bills had an offense that was balanced then that would make Allen that much more dangerous.
  4. Thank you Bills. This was a great season and the best part is the future is bright. Have no doubt they will be back competing for a championship.
  5. KC is a better team and the better won last night. Simple as that.
  6. For me its starts with the lines on both sides of the ball. Defensively we just don't generate pressure with the front 4. Look at TB yesterday and how they got to Rodgers. Offensively our O-line can't open up holes for the run and I also think Allen makes them look better in pass protection with his ability to escape the rush and buy time. Overall it was an outstanding season. 13-3 division champs, sweeping the division, winning 2 playoff games. This team has come a long way in the Beane/McDermott era. Beane will need to improve the roster to help us get by KC but the future is bright. As for McDermott last night wasn't a great one but its only his 4th season as HC. He is the type of person who I think will learn from it. Look how long it took Reid to get a ring. All those NFC championship losses with the Eagles and losses with the Chiefs until last year. Hopefully it doesn't take McDermott as long to get a ring as it took Reid though.
  7. I wouldn't mind having Fitz on the Bills as a backup next season. He might be interested in coming back to Buffalo. He loved it here and he would have a chance to be on a playoff team that can win a Super Bowl. From the Bills side of things he would be a solid backup/insurance policy if Allen got hurt and had to miss some time.
  8. Absolutely. He didn't cheat like Bonds, McGuire, Sosa did. RIP to a baseball legend.
  9. I would add the Colts and Steelers into the mix(Darnold) as well with Rivers retiring and Ben nearing the end of his career.
  10. If he does have a pinched nerve in the neck/shoulder area I wonder how much that will bother him. I remember Peyton saying that after neck surgery he could never throw a football the way he used to. Granted surgery is a bigger issue than a pinched serve but it can still cause problems for Mahomes especially with a foot/toe injury as well.
  11. I wanted Darnold over Allen so I also have no clue. Thankfully we have a GM who knows what he is doing.
  12. Definitely don't want that to happen. Both the Jets and Fins have what it takes to make that trade.
  13. The best part about reading this thread is a reminder how the other AFCE teams all need a QB and we don't. "F" the Jets, Pats ,Fins. 6-0 in the division this year was sweet. To answer this thread I will say the Jets take Fields at #2.
  14. If this were a foot injury then I would be worried but a hand injury for a kicker is a problem how?
  15. But even if Allen wins this game and the Super Bowl he still won't be in the same conversation as the great Sam Darnold
  16. In today's Daily News and Newsday football predictions both picked the Bills.
  17. You could actually make a case that during their dynasty nobody from the division was a rival to the Pats. Early on it was the Colts and Ravens then the Steelers and Broncos who played big regular season and playoff games against them. The Giants were a bigger pain in the ass to them as well for beating them twice on the biggest stage.
  18. You might be right. Didn't Josh mentioned something about getting a dome in Buffalo or that he wasn't a fan playing in bad weather? I could be wrong but I thought he mentioned something to that effect.
  19. You would think a team from WNY would or should be built to play in bad weather. If not Terry better get that new domed/retractable roof stadium built ASAP.
  20. Over at the the ganggreen.com forum in the main New York Jets section they have a thread titled "SAD - JETS AND BILLS WERE IN THE SAME BOAT". It seems like "big brother" is jealous of "little brother".
  21. Especially for a team that has trouble running the ball.
  22. Eating one wing is like eating one potato chip. It can't be done.
  23. They did beat the Jets 31-27 at Shea in 81 WC game wearing white over blue.
