  1. Just got an email from the Jets. We will not be getting charged for the 9th home game this year. Wonder if the Bills will do the same for their season ticket holders.
  2. Brian May?
  3. If they were going to change the schedule they should have gone with 18 games and just 2 preseason games. They did fine last year with no preseason games. Just have 2. It's enough time to shake off the rust, get a look at the rookies in game action, and get used to playing football again. The AFC and NFC flip flopping who gets 9 home games vs 8 is just dumb.
  4. Don't underestimate Terry and Kim's ability to "F" things up as the Sabres season proves.
  5. New stadiums aren't always better. As a long time Jets season ticket holder( I am a Bills fan though) I prefer Giants Stadium over MetLife. The only advantage MetLife offers is wider concourses and trips to the bathroom go much faster. That's it. What I was paying for at Giants Stadium was $1700 for everything. At MetLife its $3700 for everything including PSL fee. You know how they say **** runs down hill. Guess who is at the bottom of the hill. The Johnson's and the Mara's aren't paying for MetLife and the Pegula's won't be paying for a new stadium either.
  6. Actually I really won't call it anything as I just want to go watch the games but I see your point. For the majority of my life it was always Rich Stadium or Ralph Wilson Stadium so that is what I am used to.
  7. The standings and the past decade say otherwise. To quote former Giants HC Bill Parcells. "You are what your record says you are". I get that they are the owners and will do whatever they want. If they don't change their ways then the Sabres are screwed.
  8. I mentioned this before but they need to bring someone in who has the experience and history of success in building a good hockey team. Let them look at everything. The GM, HC, assistant coaches, players, scouts. Have them look at everything and let them make changes to get it turned around. The Pegula's may not want to give up control but they really don't have a choice if they want to get better. The last 10 years have shown they don't have a clue. Its long past time to bring someone in who does.
  9. The Pegula's are fortunate the Bills are doing well otherwise the natives would run them out of town with pitchforks and knives. It's weird how the Pegula's can get it right with the Bills but fail miserably with the Sabres.
  10. Rich Stadium or Ralph Wilson Stadium for me. As long as the Bills win who really cares what it's called.
  11. I can't understand how he could make millions of dollars?
  12. Bills play the AFC South and NFC South. Washington is the only NFC East team they play this year.
  13. Matt Parrino on Twitter: "Alabama LB Dylan Moses says that he's talked to the #Bills quite a bit, three or four times." / Twitter
  14. Speaking of the schedule doesn't it usually come out around mid April. Unless this game 17 delays it and the schedule doesn't get released until May.
  15. Looks like a young Kevin Spacey.
  16. I like what we have now. Never cared for our red helmets but didn't hate them either. The charging Buffalo stands out more on the white helmet.
  17. There was an article in the NY Post last week that said "sources" around the Jets said that JD prefers Wilson but members of the Jets coaching staff are trying to state a case for Darnold but its JD's call. Obviously this is all speculation and we won't know until the draft. In my meaningless opinion I think the Jets take Wilson.
  18. The way his personal life is going the odds are probably better he ends up in jail than the AFCE.
  19. Adam Schefter on Twitter: "49ers have been attempting to move into top five picks for several weeks now, per sources. They discussed trading up with Dolphins at 3, Falcons at 4, Bengals at 5 and ultimately decided to go as high as they could, per sources. There were no trade-up talks with the Jets at 2." / Twitter Don't know if this was posted but SF never had talks with the Jets for the #2 pick. Seems the Jets are set on taking a QB most likely Wilson.
  20. The division alone is harder. NE reloaded and you know Bill is already thinking of a way to beat the Bills. Miami is pretty good right now and they have a lot of draft capital to make their team better. The Jets fired Gase and that alone should make them more competitive plus like Miami they have a lot of draft picks also.
  21. There is no such thing as an easy schedule. Those "easy games" sometimes turn out to be the hardest to win.
  22. I wonder what kind of contract they will work out. Will it be a 10 year deal like Mahomes or a shorter deal like 5 years? Josh hasn't won a Super Bowl yet. if he signs a 5 year deal and then wins a Super Bowl within that time then he can ask for the moon in his next contract. He will still be young enough to sign a 10 year contract at that time as he would still be in his prime.
  23. Not bitter just stating facts. Last year's "playoffs" that you refer to was the qualifier round. That wasn't Rd 1. Teams had played anywhere between 67-70 games before everything got shut down. Since they couldn't finish the regular season the league created qualifier rounds to make it as fair as possible to see who makes it in. For example the Isles beat Florida in the qualifier round then faced the Caps in Rd 1, Flyers in Rd 2, before losing to the Lightning in the ECF. Like I said the Rangers haven't made the playoffs during Quinn's 3 years as HC. One Cup post expansion and 4 overall in 95 years definitely puts them in Jets/Mets territory.
