From a Jets standpoint it will be the rest of this year's draft (not the #2 pick) and next year's draft that will tell the story. The Bills are the perfect example for the Jets to follow. If JD does a good job building the team around Wilson then he has a good chance to succeed. If not then Wilson is Darnold, Sanchez, and so on of Jets QB failures.

The old Jets fans battle cry..."Darnold is better than Allen". Now we will get the new one..."Wilson is better than Allen".

I wish their was a video of the full game for the 1980 opener when they ended the streak vs the Dolphins. That was one of the most memorable regular season games in franchise history.

I remember the old Godzilla movies with cheesy graphics and background. The army tanks were the size of a match box cars and some 5 foot Japanese man would be stomping around in a kiddie pool wearing a lizard suit to make it look like he was coming out of the ocean. I used to love those movies as a kid.

Here is another clue....Elizabeth Montgomery.

Nope. She was an actress. Was in a famous TV show in the 60's.

1. “Mr. Chandler#81, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Bills opening stadium discussions with NYS and Erie County
Greg S replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My PSL fee $5000 per seat ( I have 2 seats) which I am paying over 10 years ( $1000 per year) isn't close to being the most expensive. My seats are lower level (row 3) directly behind the goalpost. If you have seats lower level on the 50 you are looking at 50,000 PSL fee per seat as the most expensive. These seats go to corporations or extremely rich people. Buffalo is a different market than NYC/NJ so I doubt the Pegula's could charge what the Jets-Giants do but the cost will still go up bigtime. For Bills ticket holders enjoy the current stadium at decent prices for as long as possible. -

Starting April 1st both the Mets and Yankees are allowed up to 20% capacity providing people can provide a negative test or proof they got the vaccine. Don't know if the rules are different for upstate NY vs NYC and football is still months away. Goodell said yesterday the league expect full stadiums this fall. I would pay attention to how things go with the Yanks/Mets attendance wise since they are NY the Bills will probably follow what they do. Hopefully things get better and their can be 72,000 in attendance. -
If they were going to change the schedule they should have gone with 18 games and just 2 preseason games. They did fine last year with no preseason games. Just have 2. It's enough time to shake off the rust, get a look at the rookies in game action, and get used to playing football again. The AFC and NFC flip flopping who gets 9 home games vs 8 is just dumb.

Which QB do you want the Jets to draft?

Don't underestimate Terry and Kim's ability to "F" things up as the Sabres season proves. -

New stadiums aren't always better. As a long time Jets season ticket holder( I am a Bills fan though) I prefer Giants Stadium over MetLife. The only advantage MetLife offers is wider concourses and trips to the bathroom go much faster. That's it. What I was paying for at Giants Stadium was $1700 for everything. At MetLife its $3700 for everything including PSL fee. You know how they say **** runs down hill. Guess who is at the bottom of the hill. The Johnson's and the Mara's aren't paying for MetLife and the Pegula's won't be paying for a new stadium either. -
The Lesson in the Sabres Horrendous Season
Greg S replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The standings and the past decade say otherwise. To quote former Giants HC Bill Parcells. "You are what your record says you are". I get that they are the owners and will do whatever they want. If they don't change their ways then the Sabres are screwed. -

I mentioned this before but they need to bring someone in who has the experience and history of success in building a good hockey team. Let them look at everything. The GM, HC, assistant coaches, players, scouts. Have them look at everything and let them make changes to get it turned around. The Pegula's may not want to give up control but they really don't have a choice if they want to get better. The last 10 years have shown they don't have a clue. Its long past time to bring someone in who does. -

The Pegula's are fortunate the Bills are doing well otherwise the natives would run them out of town with pitchforks and knives. It's weird how the Pegula's can get it right with the Bills but fail miserably with the Sabres.
