"Victim" eye looks exactly like he took a left (check?) hook, bare fisted from a man with big hands... knuckles in orbital socket, or quite possibly from a thumb in not fully closed fist (typical of non-professional). Thus rest of force directed at facial tissue prone to oblong cutting, as in a punch that came up and across vs landing square (which usually means night-night) Note: not saying as MD but from experience/training. Further, not making judgement on "guilt".

Josh Allen Draft Commercial (I love this man)
Dukestreetking replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry to ask... but in what context was this brought up in AtH? Not a small thing in current media environment. I'm interested b/c I'm seeing the "JA brand" starting to emerge in bits and pieces. And, I believe, league fans will eat it up, as it is such a great, hard nose, frankly "American" story to tell. His management is to be praised on this: they are carefully feeding the fire with oxygen little by little, instead of having him walk on flaming coals from the start. Crazy prediction: He will be commercially bigger than PM and AR, simply bc his story is relatable and authentic. -
Who knows on any of this, but I'll make an educated guess: 1. Teams monitor their players, but kind of as a side gig. 2. The Shield has professional, dedicated staff, real-time e-monitoring all 2000+ active roster players. The techniques/technology widely known. Not hard... just use the Secret Service methodology (not kidding). Indeed, it would be interesting to know the number of FT investigators/security the NFL employs. Quite a gaggle, I imagine. Protect the Shield, etc.

A couple of times I've read and not logged in. "Frustration" was zero. Just one add as I recall. But, oddly, ad was always for tasteful lingerie/swimwear. Not Vicky's Secret mind you, but more along the lines of "why has Martha Stewart been using my phone?" Nota bene: yes, I'm a dude; no I don't look at porn; no I don't buy lingerie. But I do read a lot of complex foreign policy articles (I swear) on my phone. The ad service algorithm remains a deep mystery....

Bills players you disliked

I actually liked Flutie...and hated Rob Johnson. Or did I hate Pretty Boy so much that it made me like Flutie...in some twisted way? I don't know. In my defense: I lived in CA at the time, so didn't have a feel for the true Flutie ambience. -
Not to carry this too far, so I will stop here, but..to LEs on the board: could you not tell w/n two min if a man was "under it"? (h/t, Rust Cohle, True Detective). Honestly, not trying to be a Swinging D**k, but DW--in my view/experience--breaks quickly. But,..I can see it in his eyes...JA would be spitting "FUs", regardless of even the harshest of technique.

Absolutely a good point Hap. It is indeed the transformational aspect of the US justice system: innocent until proven guilty; right to confront one's accusers, etc. Unlike, for example, the French system. I suppose I was coming at this from two ways: (1) "real world" practical perspective...that is, my experience, how I would approach this (fr the accusers side) and the no-s**t path an investigator will take; (2) "empirical" perspective; that is, case results based on public data available, and the results I've seen over the years... though, I must admit, I didn't always have to ensure beyond reasoned "guilt" in many cases. Again, based on experience, I would say he's screwed, but of course I cannot say w 100% certainty that he's liable across ALL cases (unlikely). But, I will double down: it sure as s**t don't look good. And this lawyer--whatever we think of him--has by now a team of serious investigators. And, like sharks, they will smell blood in the water, from miles away.

Totally agree, and we'll said. I don't want to extend this much further, but one other key point: If DW wants to go legal route, he is open to deposition (not certainty, but likely). I've spent--I don't know for sure--but likely well over 1,000 hours in the box. Some "legal"; but most "extra-legal" outside CONUS. To me, as an interrogator, Watson would be like fresh meat to a lion. (Aside: my 1st post to this forum ~Oct 2019 compared me theoretically interrogating Mayfield, Darnold, and Allen. I suggested that JA would be the ONLY guy I couldn't break and that, therefore, he was "The One". I saw it in his eyes and demeanor). My point is that I have a fair record/intuition on these matters. NO way DW takes the "legal" route. He will try to go "public/media" route. But it will fail.

As I've mentioned previously, I've been/remain a professional Investigator (not a PI). Given abundance of certain common techniques and databases; copious e-records: legal discovery providing in-roads to further investigation leads; ability to establish "pattern of behavior"; establishing destruction of records as indication of criminal/personal intent; obtaining contemporaneous records (oral, document) of accusers; etc, etc, etc...I pretty much can say one thing with certainty: DW is totally and completely f***ked. If a lawyer came to me with this case, I would hardly ask her/him to pay me, as the job would be so easy. Just my Fyi.

Fair point, and I realize KY is a "free state", as I lived there for a few years. And, this is precisely why I didn't get into all the state exceptions, but named a basic standard. But, further still, you have to understand how LE investigates this. They will bust you if they want, even in KY. Yes, "known or suspected felon" for buyer is the standard for private sale, but the obverse is also true. They (esp under fed investigation) will nail you if you have reasonable belief the seller is "known or suspected"...on the basis of criminal conspiracy. Plus, there are specific laws re car transport, which I will not get into. Don't get me wrong: I own an armory for a reinforced platoon, but I've obtained everything with extra legal caution. And, besides, I don't think we're talking about KY wrt to Mr. Lattimore. Anyway, I'll stop here, as this is not the place to deep dive into gun law or LE.

I actually have been a (certain type) of investigator, though mostly overseas stuff. So, everything I say MUST be true. /s I'll bottom line it: everyone in this country (should) damn well know you don't "receive" a firearm--gift, purchase, whatever--from some dude without paperwork. Neighbor, friend, uncle, third cousin, joey bag o' donuts... doesn't matter. Form 4473 via an FFL my friends. Yes, there are complicated exceptions by state, but this is the basic standard. I ain't saying he's "guilty" but let's just make a fair assumption that it's not a good (legal) look.

Holy s**t. We ARE getting Mack! -
I don't know anything about this, but I do believe: Brandon Beane doesn't fear the cap. The cap fears Brandon Beane.

Bills a rumored suitor for Kareem Hunt trade

I get the interest generally. But 14 pages on what can best be described as 3rd or 4th hand information, with a "presumed" cherry on top? And yet: this is why I come here. Ya know, for the journey, not the destination. No, seriously...that's why I love this place. -
Put your Fave Bills 2020 Highlight Vid here

Watched all of these...all great. But really love this one. Just for S&G, I slowed down to 1/4 speed. Results... Josh: nothing to be added; some ridiculous plays. Beautiful. Our man. But, two other things I caught, of which we're all aware, but bear repeating. 1. Dawkins is a (damn near) monster in pass pro. I'm only an amateur, but I can see, even when initially beat, he recovers extremely well. Pancaking dudes also. Unless JA rolling left, he always seems to have clear line of sight in that direction. Impressive. 2. Motor and Moss are also good-great (somebody advise me) in pass pro...imv, we sometimes miss this component in discussing RB roster moves. Hell, on the Kumerow TD Moss is actually in the pattern concept, but he manages to get two/two (!) significant chips as he breaks his route. Again, very impressive. Thanks to all for these great contributions. -
Joe B article speculates John Brown will be cut
Dukestreetking replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't disagree re the overall game. I should have made it more clear that I was talking (most of) first half, where the Trio/JA looked damn near unstoppable. I concluded that by using the "Mark 1 eyeball" test and, just now, looking at the play log...in first six possessions they went TD, FG, FG, FG, punt, TD. Bottom line: Bills already had 23 with 9+ min left in half. Not too bad. Just a game slice I realize, but the Trio was showing it's real potential, imv. (note: this is not a comment on whether or not we should retain JB) -
Only 2 teams put in requests to interview Daboll

I shouldn't encourage such behavior, but that was at least worth a chuckle. -

I won't belabor this point, given thread focus on Knox. But, this, this, this. Been thinking about it quite a bit...At some point--and soon--JA is going to have to make this transition: from I'll play CofD with you, to I'm gonna kick your a** all over the field if you screw up in practice. No idea if he's doing some of it already, or even if it's in DNA. Maybe it's a time thing: he needs to build up more gravitas. But, jmo, I sure as hell hope he evolves soonest. -

Yes, I agree w assessment; this is a fair probability But having just re-watched the Cards game, I was reminded of the sheer beauty of this Triple Threat...at times it looked like "they" could not be stopped. Wasn't even a great JA game, but SD-CB-JB went 27 for 274...not too shabby. Alas, I'm basking in nostalgia (despite the loss), and time moves on. But when JB was healthy, there definitely was "a thing". -
Interestingly enough, there is a former Bill (I'm reluctant to give name) who specializes in making sure that the Mongo's, Milanos, and others maintain the wealth they accumulate as active players. He tries to get to them early. By all accounts, he's been very successful w athletes and their financial planning. My sense is that players trust him because, in fact, he played, and he's damn good at what he does (and really a good dude on top of it all). Hopefully, all our young players turn to this guy (or others like him) so there is no DT situation down the road.
