  1. Ben won’t go imo. He has passed on better jobs. It’s not who would get first dibs. It’s who would go.
  2. Don’t forget the $5M for Lae’l Collins to show up to camp.
  3. Hey man, you always play for OT when Mahomes is 13 for 13 on third down lol
  4. LaFleur had a 4 time MVP at QB and got mortified by Jimmy G and Brock Purdy in the playoffs. If he couldn’t win then, when can he?
  5. Bowles is consistently one of the worst game decision HC’s in the league. Horrific in NY. Horrific now. Just garbage.
  6. Shoot I forgot. So it would be 5 on that 2021 team. Yeah I take the 21 team still. But we will get Milano back at some point hopefully and see what happens. The back 7 will really need him and Bernard playing at a high level come postseason. I will say this. IMO, Josh Allen is playing the best ball of his career. He has never done this much with less. Having the game he had yesterday was incredible. And when your generational QB plays the best ball of their career (even if the raw numbers don’t support it) you can win the SB. Just ask the 2022 Chiefs.
  7. No. I think if Amari turns on and Coleman continues elevating, this could be one of the better offenses. I think the talent disparity of the defense is too much to ignore. The 2021 team had a lot of talent. Hyde and Poyer were AP. White was AP the year before. Milano was AP the year after. I don't think we have 4 guys on the defense that will ever make an AP team, personally.
  8. The argument against Shakir is that the WR market is so insane, the money he will be commanding is not going to be "worth" his play as an excellent slot-only guy. And Shakir has been EXCELLENT. He may be up there with the best slots in the game, and he's still quite young. For reference, when Cole Beasley signed with Buffalo in 2019, he was the 38th highest paid WR. He probably wasn't as good as Shakir will be when he's an FA, but that was the money he commanded. He was making $7.25M AAV. The top 10 were all making around $9-$10M more AAV. The 38th highest paid WR in the NFL currently is our own Curtis Samuel for reference. Shakir ain't signing $8M per. The top 23 are all making $12M to $27M more. Khalil is going to dictate top 20 ish money which will push him to around $20M a year imo. And that's right around where I would say they should let him walk. I don't think they will. The WR room will hopefully have another rookie scale guy playing a significant role along with Coleman, and they will use their low contracts to justify paying Shakir as the only true vet producer in the room. Not sure its a good idea, but they will almost certainly pay him unless he asks for ASB money imo.
  9. McDaniel hasn't been patient the entire time he's been the Dolphins coach. It was honestly his best playcalling night vs us in a while. Remember when they were up 7 week 18 last year ALL GAME and we still outrushed them by like 16 attempts? If McDaniels yesterday was calling that week 18 game, they win the division, imo.
  10. Oh my god. Do you even remember what you said 6 hours ago? I played YOUR game.
  11. I don’t have him top 3. What I’m saying is I think he has a shot at at least a PB this season and may even be AP2. Combine that with his age and contract, and I think you’d be hard pressed to find 8 CB’s more valuable on the trade market, let alone 45! That’s absurd.
  12. But that’s not a unique situation. They constantly start the year underperformed and behind the 8 ball. Not defending McD here, but Burrow and Zac Taylor are running a LOT of mileage out of that single SB run 4 years ago.
  13. Here’s my case. if the Niners called us up and said Ward for Benford, we also laugh and say no. Ward is 28. Benford is 24. Ward has an $18M cap hit this season. Benford has a $1M cap hit this season (and is under contract next year to boot). So yeah. If you wanna go by trade value, I think Benny clears Ward by far.
  14. Are we sure Cincinnati is gonna make the playoffs? I’m kinda over this regime. But McD doesn’t let the team sleepwalk to third in their division like every year.
  15. I mean make your case that Charvarius Ward has more trade value than Benford right now. McDuffie is awesome but he’s a slot guy. Is Taron Johnson more valuable than the 10th best CB? I’m not sure I’d agree with that either.
  16. Benford has been loads better than Sauce this year imo. Of that list you mentioned, I think the only two players with no debate for a straight up trade for Benford would be Surtain and Johnson. McDuffie is excellent but is a slot guy. Ward is older. Jaire is old. Gardner has the pedigree and previous performance but has suffered with Saleh’s departure.
  17. He has bowling ball body habitus. He’s like a faster low to the ground guy than Singletary in some ways.
  18. Man you suck at agreeing with me.
  19. His injury only “showed up” after he made Trevor Lawrence look like Montana.
  20. This 100%. McDaniel lost to us week18 last year when they were getting 8 yards per carry on that stretch zone play because he never sticks with the run. This was probably the best game he’s called.
  21. I mean I clearly didn’t say that. I said “how do the Bills get Ray Davis going.” I get it’s fun to try to dunk on people. But Ray wasn’t all that effective in the first Q of the season when I wrote the topic. He didn’t look like he was pushing Cook for the job when I hit publish. Several other posters said he was no better than Ty Johnson lol. And I get swarmed by the peanut gallery for saying “how do we get this guy producing better.” Oh well. The curse of being in the arena is suffering the slings and arrows of the critics too afraid to have original takes themselves.
  22. Imo it was the right decision to kick. Maybe Bass gets some confidence going forward. if he had missed, he would’ve been sent packing tomorrow. Kind of a win win.
