  1. I have consistently argued that McD is in the tier of Harbaugh/Tomlin, very good coaches but not elite. Somehow those franchises stick with those guys because they won Super Bowls when Obama was President. I think both would be gone if that wasn’t the case, but franchises are silly.
  2. Cook. Consistently above average performance. Arguably our greatest weapon on offense. Pops on screen every week. Averaging an impressive (for running backs) 10.4 YPC. Benford has also been excellent, but zone corners don’t get as much shine even when they are excellent Bernard has made his impact known when healthy but has really struggled to stay on the field this season. His nose for the football is legitimately amazing, just always around turnovers and fumbles. Da’Norris Searcy on steroids. IMO, our 3 stars not named Josh have been those 3. Brown, Dawkins, Taron, Shakir are all nice players but I don’t think they are stars. I will say Shakir’s wiggle is elite. Brady gushing over him made sense, he has that knack to catch a 2 yard pass and somehow get 8. I can only imagine Seahawk fans yesterday were screaming “just tackle him!” like we used to do for Edelman every year.
  3. They took on his prorated salary of $11.6M from the Raiders. Two games of that have been paid now. So what does that put him at? If they are crossing the threshold of trading him again and giving up on the season, do you think they would be balk at another 4M?
  4. If they are trading a dude after 2 weeks to recoup picks, I don't think they care about financials.
  5. All teams win more with major leads than in close games.
  6. No ones ever taken a $40M cap hit to trade away a WR either. i don’t think it’s likely by any means. But if you called the Jets tomorrow and offered a 2025 second, I think they think long and hard about it.
  7. I think it’s self explanatory lol. “Curtis Samuel and Terrell Bernard are really making a difference out there!”
  8. Drafts not til next year!
  9. Looked fine today and stayed healthy, much to the chagrin of the sickos in here.
  10. I think we go for Davante Adams when he’s back on the block tbh.
  11. I have watched the Rams games he’s played. He has been the worst player on the field. Sucks because he was great at one point (that whole 2017 first round class was elite tbh). But he’s done. He won’t be on a team next year.
  12. There’s some validity here. IIRC, the largest knock on Amari has been that he would disappear for stretches, particularly in Dallas but also Cleveland. He would have a 200 yard game then go 2 for 23 the next week or even have a couple catches in the 1st Q then be invisible. I can’t exactly verify those claims because I can’t admit to watching every snap, but I definitely remember that criticism. And for a guy of his talent and health to have only passed 1200+ receiving yards in this era once, there’s probably some truth to a lack of consistency. Ultimately, the THREAT of an Amari Cooper is worth just as much as his actual production IRT this offense, maybe even more. And this team isn’t really going to be looking to him for leadership as a hired gun brought in midseason.
  13. Arguably the biggest yikes in TBD history.
  14. He is 3 months removed from saying he would welcome a trade on social media. What?
  15. I mean, making social media posts in the offseason about wanting to be traded IS malcontent behavior. It’s Stefon Diggs-like behavior, right? That’s basically what he did, right? If a Bills player next AUGUST, is tweeting “I wouldn’t mind a trade,” would that raise your eyebrows? I mean that’s on the doorstep of the season. What if that Bill had already been traded two times prior? Nothing to see here? Not malcontent behavior? Thats the parallel to Diggs. Maybe Cooper is a model citizen and a victim of the salary cap and being closer to the 20th best WR than the 5th has made teams dump him. Maybe he’s not perfect and has used what leverage he has to get off teams he doesn’t want to be on, or to get better contracts. Even if he has, who cares? I don’t know. It’s not hate to understand that most guys don’t play for 4 teams. I don’t even care if Cooper becomes a problem a year or two from now, because he’s trying to get more money. That’s his prerogative. The real problem is fans seeing guys like Diggs or Cooper float around from team to team as mercenaries, and then start thinking they are gonna be different in Buffalo, and they are gonna buy a house next to Josh’s and raise their family for 40 years here. “Diggs would never pull the same Vikings playbook in Buffalo!” Of course, he did. ”Cooper would never make social media posts about wanting to leave the team now that he’s in Buffalo” Of course, he could. If his money’s not right or he’s not happy, it’s totally on the board. So yeah, no hate. Just no expectations either. If Cooper is happy a Bill and plays here for 3 years and has no issues, awesome. If he gets a 2 year extension and then starts acting out a bit when his deal is coming to an end because he’s looking for another payday, I won’t be surprised and hurt and shocked. Sounds like some of you will be though, just like some of you are still so shocked and hurt about Diggs.
  16. You are getting very emotional. It’s not hate at all. The word out of Cleveland was that Amari wanted out. https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/news/unhappy-in-cleveland-browns-star-wide-receiver-amari-cooper-sounds-open-to-trade-01j4x2sbt5ph He wanted to be traded for Aiyuk. He commented on instagram that he wouldn’t mind being traded lol. So zero zilch nada? 👎
  17. There’s lots of reasons. Lots of reasons could be culture, attitude, contract etc etc. The guys you referenced, like Brandon Marshall, Randy Moss, were traded in large part due to their attitudes. That’s kind of the point. We all accept they were basically locker room malcontents. Do we have solid facts? Were we in the building? No. I don’t know if Amari is or isn’t. What I do know is that it’s unusual for a player of his caliber to play for 4 teams before 30. This is no different than folks screaming there’s no way Diggs could be a problem and force his way out of Buffalo lol. If Amari is great here, great. Would it surprise me if he’s playing elsewhere in 2026? No.
  18. Your assumption is that…. Gruden wanted to trade Amari for no reason. Gruden leaked damaging, untruths about Amari to the media, potentially harming his value right before he traded him…. because Gruden is just a bad guy. (Also zero evidence it was Gruden, but while we’re taking leaps let’s do it lol) Dallas traded for Amari for a first, paid him, then dumped him for a fifth a few years later. For no reason. Cleveland traded for Amari, paid him, then dumped him for a third a few years later. For no reason. And none of this means anything. lol.
  19. Extremely L take. guy has been on 4 teams now by 30 years old. We can all agree he’s a good player, so he probably hasn’t just been traded because of his talent. You have zero evidence the OPs claims are wrong. Unsubstantiated with ironclad proof? Sure. False? You don’t know enough to even call them false. There’s an article questioning Cooper’s football character that you handwaved away. Yeah, maybe Gruden was floating bad media stories to uh lower his trade value before they traded him? Is it gospel? No. But what evidence do you have besides “na na na that doesn’t count?” Cooper wouldn’t be the first NFL player or even star who treats football like a job. It’s not an indictment on the man.
  20. I guess this was supposed to quote me? “Happy or not isn’t relevant” but you just said: Is being happy relevant or no? I’m just saying, when we came to camp, our two weakest position groups to my eye were WR and safety. During the season, our two weakest position groups to my eye were WR and safety. Despite the Bills spending a second round pick in both groups. I was gaslit for months that the WR’s were fine and the Bills were happy at WR, then Brandon Beane called about every WR on the market and made a trade for a 30 year old guy to desperately upgrade the position. Again, something that was obvious in JULY. So yeah. I think the safety room is not good. I think Rapp has been better than Hamlin, but I don’t think Rapp is very good and I think Hamlin is bad. I think the Bills know this because they are petrified to run any single high, which indicates the level of trust in their safeties. Will the Bills make a move? I don’t know. What I do know is if Bishop had taken the job by now, would I feel better about the safety room? Yes. I also feel that if Bishop had taken the starting job, the Bills would feel better about that group as well. I don’t think the Bills took Bishop that high to be a starter in 2025 at the earliest. Maybe they did, but the point stands that that doesn’t help us in 2024.
