  1. I didn’t even breathe heavily out of my nose.
  2. Good point. Neal saw a decent amount of PT last year and Johnson was just drafted. Poyer, White, Hyde are obviously locks. I think Levi is safe as well. Then it’s Gaines, Norman, Marlowe, Jackson. Maybe they bring in another camp body but I think the above is our final DB room going into camp. I wouldn’t be surprised if Marlowe goes.
  3. Lots of tremendous coaches and tremendous QB’s have not achieved what the Pats have done. That’s why they are so heralded. It’s a great intention, but the history of the league tells us it is extremely likely to not be so.
  4. Looking at the Dolphins schedule, I just don’t see greater than 6-7 wins. Raiders, Bengals Jags, Jets twice, Bills twice, Pats twice, Rams, 49ers, Seahawks, Chargers, Chiefs, Broncos, Cards. I think they go 1-3 or 0-4 vs the NFC West. Those teams are all pretty good. Maybe they beat Arizona. They lose to us twice hopefully. Chiefs beat them. Gotta beat the Pats and Jets twice, and then beat all but one or two of the Chargers, Raiders, Bengals, Jags, Broncos. Just don’t see it. IMO, the go 0-6 vs the NFC West us and the Chiefs and then maybe split the rest. 7 wins max.
  5. Teams don’t usually make 8 year straight runs. Your window is technically open if you have a franchise QB in place, but getting your roster to SB contender status usually happen once every 3 years or so if you’re drafting and managing cap well. The Falcons, Packers, Chargers and Saints are good examples of that. Technically contenders every year, which is awesome. But they only had a handful of seasons each during their QB’s primes when they had the talent to be winners. We have a window right now. Our team is built to compete. Hopefully Josh continues to become a star, but if we wait three years, the roster may not be ready.
  6. Nah, I don’t think Hill will ever start at QB in NO, personally.
  7. He’s honestly the most unique football player I can remember. Passing TD’s, rushing TD’s, recieving TD’s, punt blocks. He’s fascinating because he makes no sense. He has no position, which is usually the kiss of death at this level. But here he is contributing in unique ways. Some may call it luck, but luck can’t be sustained this long, imo. His 7 TD’s last year would have led the Bills in skill positions last year.
  8. Do you think he’ll come back and play? He’s probably got some magic left in that arm.
  9. This doesn’t sound like you’re interested in having any kind of a reasonable discussion. Later
  10. I don’t trash Allen. On the contrary, I like him a lot. I just found your “SEC QB’s fail all the time” argument kinda silly, because all QB’s from every where fail a lot. That’s how it is.
  11. You should read this topic. It’s filled with folks calling him trash. Rooting against Bills players is a bad look.
  12. I don’t really agree with the comparison. The guys you listed in the beginning all had high expectations because they were all drafted extremely high. AJ E doesn’t have the same expectations as Dareus. Moss doesn’t have the same expectations as Spiller. This is because of their draft position. I do agree with your conclusion though. The Bills, picking in the 20’s plus, show we are already a good team and the media knows that now.
  13. Way too much was made about Fromm in the fifth. A winning QB from a big time program with good backup potential is a decent pick in the fifth. Way too many people hate that pick.
  14. Here we go lol. 1st round pick in 2014 and 1st round pick in 2015 = Sammy Watkins is a Bill. 2 1st round picks. 1st round pick in 2020 (and other picks) = Stefon Diggs is a Bill. 1 1st round pick. It’s that simple. You count ALL the picks used to acquire a player, not just the traded one.
  15. Newsome is the VP and former GM. He has a ton of say in that building, don’t kid yourself.
  16. Ingram was slowed down more towards the second half of the year, which proved to be the key to beating them. San Fran, The Bills, and the Titans shut him down, and it’s not a coincidence those were some of the closest games they played all year. Losses, in regards to the Titans.
  17. The amount of times you respond to me begs to differ. Me thinks doth protest too much. I missed u bb
  18. Not every route is the primary or secondary read. Peterman consistently made decisions his arm couldn’t cash. Bad decisions + bad arm = pick city.
  19. Well you’re right about one thing. LAMP indeed.
  20. Its like 4 topics down... it even says compilation.
  21. Yeah this is true. We’ll never see two SEC QBs go say, top 5 in the same draft. Ever.
