  1. Unfortunately, 60% puts him squarely at 30th in the NFL last season
  2. lol this clown show perfectly encapsulates why Aaron Rodgers is a better version of Jeff George.
  3. The overarching point is that there are a handful of young QBs in the NFL that have not proven enough to be considered stars, but also have shown enough good things that their teams are quite comfortable and happy with them so far Allen, Jones, Darnold, Mayfield, and Murray fall into this. Some would argue that Goff/Wentz are on the tail end of these good graces for one reason or another. The only proven really good QB’s who are still relatively young are Watson, Mahomes, Wilson and on the bottom rung Dak. I would understand the argument of not trading Allen for Dak and below. I would also understand the argument for not trading Dak or Jones or Mayfield for Allen. The only reasonable answer is that everyone would trade Allen for Wilson, Watson or Mahomes.
  4. The Pats can’t afford him like you’ve said a trillion times. I don’t know if I’d sign Cam in case that happens. I don’t know if I’d even WANT it to happen. I’d rather win or lose with Josh and know where things stand going into year 4. The Jets and Browns are in similar camps. Gruden seems to like Carr or so he says so I can’t comment on the Raiders. I’m torn on the point tbh. Especially since we have no idea what Cam has left in the tank.
  5. I don’t think there’s a world where Gettleman trades Jones for Josh either. They are far different QB’s. There are also plenty of examples of third year QB’s struggling, FYI.
  6. I’m sure he was. And I understand the argument, I just don’t agree with it. Russ without a great team around him still put up STELLAR 18 and 19 campaigns. Baker put up good and okay numbers with a very talented Browns team (I know, Hue and Kitchens though.) Russell’s contract isn’t preventing Carroll from falling into All-Pro DB’s in the fifth round which was the real reason that team was so nasty in 2014. The other core guys were mostly drafted in the later rounds.
  7. I think folks heard that Goff struggled last year and assumed that they went 6-10. If Goff and McVay expand that offense and change things up, they are right back in the playoff mix.
  8. I don’t think a lot of Giants fans would trade Jones for Allen. Jones quietly had a pretty solid rookie year.
  9. I think if Josh struggled in the first half of the year and the rest of the team looked great, there would be a few little birdies talking about a QB switch mid season.
  10. That’s insane IMO. Wilson is an MVP candidate every year. A winner, a mobile threat etc etc. I liked the 2018 class as much as anyone (shout out Rosen and Baker) but what a gaffe that would have proven to be.
  11. You say this but I firmly remember groans when I got a pass called for me in high school.
  12. There just aren’t many of those any more. For even suggesting people need to eventually return to work, you are called a murderer.
  13. We played better teams at home? This is an excellent point. And while I’m not usually a McBeane cheerleader when it comes to the process and culture, I have to think that them bringing in a lot high culture DNA guys who aren’t exactly heralded may help here. Mario Addison may find it easier to get pumped up than a lot of NFLers.
  14. Huh? They went 9-7 last year and 4 of their games were vs the Seahawks and 49ers.
  15. Sammy wasn’t on the field because he was tearing off his cast and acting like a psycho. And Sammy was clearly begging to leave town. Sammy had the potential to be our #1 WR for over a decade and instead he prolonged his own injury problems, was an issue to our new coach, and acted like a complete psycho. Wow, can’t believe he’s disliked.
  16. So what? We didn’t spend two first rounders on A LOT of NFL players. We did on Sammy.
  17. I’m not sure why you understand Sammy is hated. I could break it down for you. We invested 2 first rounds picks in an offensive player who had one good year, battled injuries, screwed up his own rehab, saw dark energy from our HC and acted like an insane person, and who had to be shipped off for a much lower value due to all of the above. Then this guy puts up okayish numbers on two teams since then, and then has a good postseason and ultimately wins a Super Bowl. He’d get less hate if he was a complete bust. Imagine if we cut Aaron Maybin, he put up 8 sacks with the Jets and then won a Super Bowl.
  18. Except they traded a 3rd for KB, not the second they got for Sammy. And if you think the bolded, what is all the ***** hand wringing about?
  19. This was the first Agatha Christie/TBD mashup in history. Your plebeian mind couldn’t hope to comprehend it. Don’t listen to them @T master!! First they laugh at you, then they listen to you, then you win! I look forward to your next murder mystery that’s tertiarily related to Walt Patulski!
  20. I certainly question the lizard king from Ft Myers and his ability to sense the wavelength of the dark spirits following my energy. Maybe I’m the crazy one, but I doubt it.
  21. Imagine if the rest of the D doesn’t miss a beat from last season and Norman plays at a ProBowl level. I think that could be enough to take us to a championship even without the offense taking another step. CB2 is really just a mild concern on a team without many of them. Our DB room in general is pretty well stocked. I’m confident someone steps up to take the job, whether it’s Wallace, Gaines, or Norman.
  22. Zay Jones tried to fight for Jesus and he wasn’t nearly as insane as Sammy is.
  23. If you look at the way the Bills use Josh in the RZ and the way Cam was used in the RZ, it’s probably sustainable he gets something like 5 to 8 rushing TD’s per year. Cam rushed about .46 TD’s per start over his career. Josh is at .62. Some years he may only have 4 and some years he may have double digits. I agree that expecting 9 RTD’s every year is unlikely to come to fruition. But with the addition of Diggs I could see 25 PTD’s and 5 RTD’s next year easy. Lol. It’s really quite simple. Saying Tom Brady or Russell Wilson was underdrafted is using the benefit of hindsight. Asking if you’d rather have Tom Brady or Russell Wilson next season as your QB is not.
  24. Your playbook hasn’t changed in 10 years of posting. It’s just incredible. I now truly understand your Jauron love. It’s because you are the Jauron of TBD posters.
  25. Exactly, that’s why the PFF topic is moronic. You aren’t convinced by Allen yet. That’s reasonable. You don’t think he’s proven to be consistent enough to hang in the NFL. That’s defensible. And still you’d take Allen over Mitch. If you wouldn’t take Mitch over Allen, WHO WOULD?
