You have far more faith in the Pegulas than I do. Albright saying the coaches seat is warm after a gut wrenching loss in a down season isn’t the evidence you think it is lol.
-
McD is gonna be here next year.
-
I want our team to win and I want Allen to be the best QB he can be. Yeah and it was a big one.
-
He played a great game. The turnovers continue to hurt us. the Chiefs played the Eagles very tough, Mahomes threw a horrific pick in the end zone and they ended up losing. That’s not a coincidence. TO’s are strongly correlated to losses. The difference between Mahomes and Allen is how often they throw those costly INT’s. It’s that simple.
-
He didn’t play perfect. Some QB’s go a whole 3 quarters without throwing INT’s
-
Poyer came crawling back because he had no market, was relatively cheap, was a locker room leader, knew the system etc. I thought we could do worse than bring him back. Like playing Hamlin, who is actually horrible. But he’s shot. and Harty was a complete whiff. No arguments here. Lots of blame to go around on the personnel side imo.

I'm arguing that the turnover was huge and contributed greatly to the loss. And a QB who has a penchant for TO's will have a lot of losses when the rest of the team isn't very good.
-
Of course, outside of that INT Josh played really well. I do. And if they had lost the game, it would have been the biggest reason why.
-
Yeah, and a big money move on a defensive back was certainly something the fanbase would have been happy about.
-
Defense was horrible in the second half lol. Turnovers continue to be the second most important stat in football, whether you call it nitpicking or not.
-
the INT gave the Eagles the lead. It was the single biggest mistake on offense tonight. Turnovers matter. I know everyone is emotional that the defense sucked (it did), but turnovers will always matter. I made my suggestions in the OP. If he is incapable of playing clean football, we need to surround him with playmakers so it is easier to overcome and score more.
-
Safety market was pretty barren this offseason. Besides, McD and co go out and spend a high draft pick or get a big time FA at that position to replace Poyer and we all know what happens next.
-
So if McD beats the Dolphins in week 17, he should keep his job?
-
I think so lol. Don't worry, Hyde and Poyer are both gone next year, I'm pretty sure.
-
Apparently not. We lost. And Josh's TO gave the Eagles their first lead since the second Q when they were already whipping our D in the second half.
-
Going 30 yards isn't that impressive. That's why TO's are so critical. But you also missed a 3 and out. Cool stats should be accurate.
-
This post is actually cursed and this topic needs to be deleted, probably burned, exorcised, cleansed, and forgotten.
-
You missed a 3 and out. ANd one of those TD drives was from an Allen gift wrapped INT.
-
We lost, in part, because Josh gave the Eagles 6 points and the lead. Our defense got two stops in the second half. Our offense scored 14 and gave them 6.

Not knowing the play is kinda unacceptable when you are WR6. GTFO the field. -
Gabe Davis Miscommunication Plays this season

At least once per game, except maybe last week when he didn't have a target. Unreliable WR's are bad. Trent Sherfield and Gabe aren't it. -
We all know McD wants complementary football, he wants a strong running attack to help control TOP. There are mixed opinions on this. The reason McD wants this is because: 1. This defense is not that good (and significantly injured) 2. Josh Allen turns the ball over to turn wins into losses Just now, we lost an Eagles game where we had 10 pt lead for a large portion of the game. The Eagles started to come back, but we matched them for score. Until Josh threw, yet another, bad decision INT, gave them the short field, which gave them the lead and control of this game. Josh Allen is incapable of playing clean football, and this is going to continue to cost the Bills wins. Maybe McD is right and ball control is the way to go. I personally think we need to surround Josh with playmakers so when he, inevitably it seems, tries to give the game away, we can score fast and outpace his mental errors. But McD isn't wrong about the problem, I think he's wrong about the solution.

It's sad that our OC has to take the ball out of the QB's hands down 4 .
