  1. This may have already been mentioned, but why do guys insist on releasing the ball the instant the cross the goal line? Dude almost literally threw away the win for the cardinals
  2. There’s no spin in my comment-you are ignoring the 3 terrible quarters they played and focused on the great one. Yes they won the game and yes they had a great 4th quarter, but you’re not going to win a lot of games by playing only one good quarter.
  3. What did Buffalo show in their first game that shows they have regressed so much? Miami needed an absolutely crazy comeback in the 4th just to barely win today and did not look impressive last week-not really a recipe for easily winning divisions
  4. Miami has played 6 meh to bad quarters and 2 good quarters (1 very good quarter today). They are 2-0, can't take that away from them, and very few on here think the AFCE is going to be a cakewalk, but none of the teams in the division have shown they are taking away the division from Buffalo. The AFCE still goes through Buffalo
  5. Davis had an ankle injury last year as well right?
  6. Yeah my bad fellas….didn’t look at the username before I responded-rookie mistake!!
  7. Explain how it was “proven” to be a fluke? Is it because the Bills lost in the playoffs so any win against KC is a fluke? KC lost some players from last year-Hill and Matthieu aren’t easily replaceable. Their defense does enough most games to help them win, but the Bills showed they can easily be scored on
  8. So you are essentially saying all of the bad parts of the game that happened the other night will continue to happen, but all of the good won’t. You have almost convinced yourself of doom and gloom because if god forbid something bad happens, then you can either say I told you so or you think you’ll handle it better. Not really a great way to root for the Bills
  9. Every team in every sport that is picked as the favorite before the season starts (but especially in football) is going to be considered “overhyped.” That’s just how it is. Think about it, how many times on this very board has the team with the best odds been considered overhyped or overrated? It happens every year
  10. In what world will 7 sacks, 3 turnovers forced, 400+ yards of offense, no punts, stopping the other team at the 10 yard line on a kickoff, holding the other team to 250 yards of offense (I can keep going if you want) not get it done?
  11. How did you watch that game last night and decide this would be a good thread to start?
  12. Man, hyperbole is fun, isn’t it?? Phillips had a really good game, no doubt about it, but Oliver made some plays while he was in there and Settle and Jones did exactly what they were brought here to do. They all had a really good game, hopefully Ed heals quickly and they all play that same exact game next week too
  13. Just a reminder that the Bills led the league in rushing both years Rex was here
  14. I’m honestly confused as to what you wanted to see. He played in every game, they gave him the ball….did you want him to get 15-20 touches each game? Do you think they told him to “not run as fast as you can”? What exactly were you looking for?
  15. How does everyone know the voting is done before the playoffs?
  16. Not sure this is correct-no way does Burrow or Chase get ranked that high if the vote was before the playoffs
  17. Yeah but here’s the question-can he block???
  18. The fact that this thread has reached 6 pages (and counting) is just ridiculous…this place is gonna go nuts the first time Bass misses a kick! I think some of it is there are people who think “hasn’t done it” and assume it means “will never be able to do it.” But you’re right, there hasn’t been one single negative report but people won’t allow that thought to leave their head
  19. Well considering Burrow was ranked 21, you know the vote took place after the playoffs so I can’t see how we can’t be top 5
  20. I’m surprised to see Justin Herbert so low, especially because they have 2 chargers ranked higher than him. I assumed he would’ve been top 20
  21. Explain the “clearly outplaying him” part. Who is he clearly outplaying, and how so? As has been said repeatedly, Blackshear looks good, but he’s playing mostly against guys who will be cut or on the PS. Cook had looked great and Miss scored twice yesterday…there’s also that little thing of both of these guys keep going up against the 1’s and 2’s
  22. He has been the unquestioned #2 since the moment he became a Bill and that has nothing to do with this board. The coaching staff sees him as a much better option than Barkley. Most backup QBs switch teams every year or every other year, that’s part of the job. just think how deep you had to go to get a Barkley game to make your point-mop up duty against a team that had given up because they were already down over 20 points (cue the “well he also had a really good game against the jets 5 years ago)
  23. Shhhhhhh, this ruins the narrative that some on here are unfortunately trying to build
  24. My brother has season tickets in the club section and he just sold his home opener tickets for almost $1100 each! He went to both playoff games the last 2 years but has said this year he plans on selling any playoff game tickets so he’s REALLY hoping for a home AFC championship game
  25. Is Benford facing the same receivers that Elam is facing on a daily basis? Is he winning matchups against Diggs and Davis at a greater rate than Elam is? Or is Benford doing better against our 5-10 WR while Elam is struggling against our #1 and #2 receiver? These are honest questions (perhaps ones that have been already asked and dealt with, but I'm just seeing this topic and it's already 6 pages long) because they both looked good at times in that first preseason game and they both showed things they need to work on still from that first game
