  1. So you want to keep a guy who, when given a shot, is able to rush for 600 yards? That’s an outstanding use of a roster spot for the next several years! Didn’t really want that extra lineman/receiver/cornerback anyway!
  2. 100% agree with you there-I just don’t get the argument that the Ravens haven’t done enough for Lamar. They’ve brought in free agents, used draft picks, etc. I’m with you though-they clearly haven’t brought in the right guys. This is where I think the Bills front office has been much better. They have identified very specific skill sets that they know go really well with what Josh does and doesn’t do well. Baltimore has not been good with that. That being said, I think it’s pretty clear that Lamar isn’t capable of raising his guys level of play the way that Josh is able to
  3. How much more can Baltimore invest into getting Lamar weapons?? They have used high draft picks on receivers (including 2 first round picks), they have built a good line, they have invested in running backs and tight ends, and yet people still say “if only Lamar had guys to throw to.” Meanwhile in Buffalo Josh just happens to be able to give guys career years and somehow this is a debate
  4. I’m going to disagree with the bold part simply because that’s when all of these guys are being interviewed. Teams don’t wait until after the playoffs to figure out their new coaches. Daboll has aspirations to be a head coach and that’s when the interviews are held. I’m sure every team in the playoffs had a coach or 2 get interviewed for something by new teams. It’s just another thing we have to get used to with the Bills hopefully being good for the foreseeable future
  5. McD knows how this works-It will depend on the relationship Dorsey has with both guys. Obviously we all would like to see Dorsey stay to keep the continuity, and Dorsey may want to stay because of Josh, but I don’t think you are burning bridges by offering jobs to guys he knows. Daboll may also want to call his own plays and might not have an interest in bringing Dorsey with him. In any event, I don’t think it is as big a deal to the coaches when guys “poach” other coaches as it is to the fans
  6. It's not that the surrounding talent goes down, it's that the opposing talent increases by an incredible amount. He won't have the windows to throw through, the wide receivers won't be as wide open, and the talent on the other side of the ball are smarter and faster than anything he has faced before
  7. I was just thinking the same thing....and now it's almost 12 hours after the thread was started
  8. Give me a prediction then, since those 2 all pro receivers make the pats so much better, how many yards will they have? How many touchdowns? How many games will the Pats win? Do you seriously think those 2 guys will significantly improve the pats this season?
  9. I get that you have a fear of the Patriots, but you look at those WR and think that group has improved? How? Also, their QBs are Cam and a rookie-how much of a jump are you expecting them to make? Are you expecting double digit wins from them?
  10. I never said he couldn’t succeed, I said the games they win will not be because of Jones. their tight ends are better, but they better be for all of the money they are paying those 2 guys. I don’t believe their receivers are better though. Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne? That’s what makes them better? No defense is losing sleep trying to defend those 2 guys. I would be shocked if they win more than 8 games, and if they do it won’t be because of their rookie QB-it will be because of their defense and coaching
  11. Yes, that’s exactly what I said-rookie QBs never string together some games 🙄 that’s a veteran team in New England with a pretty poor receiving corps, I’m not sure a rookie QB is what boosts them this year. Doesn’t mean the Pats won’t win a couple of games towards the end (or whenever he becomes the starter) but it won’t be because of Jones
  12. Just a couple of questions about all of your points-what did the dolphins do in the draft that was “great?” I just looked at their picks and outside of the def lineman from Miami and none of those picks seem very “great”. Tua should be better but let’s be honest he couldn’t get much worse. the Jets have a rookie head coach and Wilson put together one good season-not sure he can do much that Darnold can’t do. and it’s going to be a rookie QB in New England that takes them on a run?? I’m not saying the Bills will definitely go 6-0 again in the division, but there’s a lot of worst case scenario (from the Bills perspective) in your post and not a ton of realistic expectations for those teams
  13. He wasn’t at work, he was on his own Instagram! Also not once does he mention anything about his sex life. You’re obviously not getting it-being gay still widely isn’t seen by many people as a normal thing, so yes normally people do have to declare it at some point. Does he get more attention for it because he plays in the nfl absolutely he does, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t or can’t mention it. Do you react like this when you see these guys give their girlfriends/wife a hug or a kiss on tv?
  14. He’s a public figure, so it’s hard for him to keep his personal life personal. He’s probably tired of hiding it-maybe he’s with someone he is proud to be with and wants to be seen in public with him. You think he came out as gay for a book deal?!?! Yikes
  15. It’s always a big deal when it’s the first. The hope is from here on out it’s not a big deal.
  16. 2 positive Ed Oliver comments in a row? Is that even allowed here?? Also, I'm with you guys, I think he's going to have a very good season!
  17. This is outstanding! They are becoming a very likeable team!😆
  18. I'll slow it down for you because it's obvious you're slow....it was a joke
  19. Great, now that he’s been paid I bet he becomes lazy like Dareus!
  20. Not to say they aren’t great players, but to see Alexander and Ramsey ranked so high and to see Tre as low as he is-just doesn’t sit right with me
  21. There have been plenty of times the only reason a ball was completed was because of Allen’s arm strength. The touchdowns to Davis in both the Pittsburgh and Miami games. The lasers he throws into spaces that best cover 2 that shouldn’t ever beat a cover 2. The Jacksonville touchdown his first year. The touchdown to Yeldon in the Titans game. The problem isn’t he doesn’t try to use his arm strength, his problem was he had no touch in his passes before last season
  22. This better not impact negotiations with Josh! How can we afford his new contract AND pay the highest paid long snapper in the league?!
  23. The medium in which the reaction is coming (here) is considered social media, so yes
