  1. Nope. I listened to Skip Bayless and he is confident that Baker is great .. .. maybe right below Josh Allen though Josh has to prove more to him
  2. Good listen if you have 28 minutes to spare Interesting tidbit: When asked about teams that would be a good fit for him .. he mentioned the Bills and the Pats
  3. ??? It is an interesting data point that is all. I would not judge our draft based on what the Cowboys thought. Actually I am a 3 year to really know the quality of the draft kind of guy. The Jets won the draft in 2018 per experts .. didn’t really pan out for them
  4. https://dailysnark.com/2022/05/03/the-internet-deciphered-the-dallas-cowboys-draft-sheet-that-jerry-jones-showed-the-media-during-press-conference/ this can be found on multiple sites, but this one listed the full list based off the Athletic.com analysis 1. Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE, Oregon: drafted at No. 5 by the Giants. 2. Evan Neal, OT, Alabama: drafted at No. 7 by the Giants. 3. Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan: drafted at No. 2 by the Lions. 4. Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State: drafted at No. 10 by the Jets. 5. Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati: drafted at No. 4 by the Jets. 6. Derek Stingley, CB, LSU: drafted at No. 3 by the Texans. 7. Travon Walker, DE, Georgia: drafted at No. 1 by the Jaguars. 8. Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame: drafted at No. 14 by the Ravens. 9. Ikem Ekwonu, OT, North Carolina State: drafted at No. 6 by the Panthers. 10. Drake London, WR, USC: drafted at No. 8 by the Falcons. 11. Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia: drafted at No. 13 by the Eagles. 12. Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State: drafted at No. 9 by the Seahawks. 13. Lewis Cine, S, Georgia: drafted at No. 32 by the Vikings. 14. Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama: drafted at No. 12 by the Lions. The second-round grades on the front of the paper appear to go as follows: 15. Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State: drafted at No. 11 by the Saints. 16. Tyler Smith, OL, Tulsa: drafted at No. 24 by the Cowboys. 17. Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah: drafted at No. 27 by the Jaguars. 18. Daxton Hill, S, Michigan: drafted at No. 31 by the Bengals. 19. Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State: drafted at No. 36 by the Jets. 20. Kenyon Green, OG, Texas A&M: drafted at No. 15 by the Texans. 21. George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue: drafted at No. 30 by the Chiefs. 22. Zion Johnson, OG, Boston College: drafted at No. 17 by the Chargers. 23. Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas: drafted at No. 18 by the Titans. 24. Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington: drafted at No. 39 by the Bears. 25. Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa: drafted at No. 25 by the Ravens. 26. David Ojabo, DE, Michigan: drafted at No. 45 by the Ravens. 27. Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State: drafted at No. 16 by the Commanders. 28. Jermaine Johnson, DE, Florida State: drafted at No. 26 by the Jets. 29. Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida: drafted at No. 23 by the Bills. 30. Arnold Ebiketie, DE, Penn State: drafted at No. 38 by the Falcons. 31. Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington: drafted at No. 21 by the Chiefs. 32. Quay Walker, LB, Georgia: drafted at No. 22 by the Packers. 33. Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia: drafted at No. 28 by the Packers. 34. Logan Hall, DE, Houston: drafted at No. 33 by the Buccaneers. A few things interesting to me at least. 1) only the first 14 had first round grades on them 2) they had 3 CBS ahead of Elam who came in at 29 for them and one was still on the board (Kyler Gordon) when they drafted so they were not targeting Elam there. They had McDuffie after Elam .. and Booth did not make the list of first / second round grades unless one of the last ones that were not deciphered. 3) they had Breece Hall at 19 overall the Cowboys are not a great drafting team but it is interesting to see how they had things lined up
  5. Interview with Keith Corbin and how Dion Sanders helped him develop Interview starts at 10 minute mark
  6. Wydermyer pre-draft write-up before combine testing imploded his stock. Well detailed overview https://cowboyswire.usatoday.com/lists/cowboys-jalen-wydermyer-2022-draft-prospect-profile/
  7. NFL 1st world problem .. our team is so good and punts less than most teams in the league, but I have nothing else to be concerned about so I will fret over whether the punter i want will be there when we draft in the 5th round. I wonder if this is how Pats fans felt all those years asi was desperately hoping we could find a serviceable quarterback
  8. But they should have 2 All-Pros, 3 Pro Bowlers, and only 3 rotational players based on the track record of all the other GMs. In addition in my official mock 3.0 we landed Jameson Williams, Evan Neal, and traded for Derrick Henry with the Titans covering all but $15.00 of his contract. In fairness I had to trade away our 4th pick, Kumerow, the 8th linebacker whose name I can’t recall but has tremendous value, an autographed picture of Josh Allen in shorts, and some salty snacks… but it is clear I am a better GM than Beane based on my haul
  9. Video from Bills media .. Kaiir gets the call
  10. I am thinking this is unlikely to be true as the Bills have tried to bring in for Top 30 visits the people they are actually considering. Sauce and Stingley may have been higher on their board but since they were unlikely to get them it might not have made sense to bring them in. However, McDuffie was in the range and yet they elected to not bring him in. I suspect he was not a candidate for their first round pick. Similarity if Booth was removed from their list .. why did they bring him in for a top 30 visit if he was already blacklisted due to health issues
  11. Perhaps he thought the were drafting Doctor Strange .. thinking he could pull a younger Brady from a different part of the Multiverse?
  12. I have not seen this already posted .. full 57 seconds of him getting the call from McDermott .. before the ESPN / NFL Network clip
  13. You named a bunch of late round picks most of whom are contributors. Taron was a 5th and is one of the better slot corners in the league. Levi was undrafted and while not a stud developed into a solid NFL player…. Hence why people trust MCDermott. Then of course is the question of how a projected 1st rounder / very early second rounder is considered a reach? He landed right around where the projections had him. Is he a reach because you in your other job as an NFL scout had him later due to your intensive research?
  14. It doesn’t matter if Dallas had or didn’t have interest in him .. it matters if anyone did since the 1st round was on fire with trades. The move up to get Josh in 2018 was not about the teams ahead of us but rather the teams that might be tempted to jump us (e.g Arizona)
  15. Twitter reaction compilation.. best is the business decision comment for safeties https://brobible.com/sports/article/bills-josh-allen-viral-muscles-arms/
  16. I also would say Tom Brady, but only if I wanted to win it all. Can you imagine 11 Tom Brady's drawing flags? They would never have to actual complete a pass, the refs would just call a flag on the opposing team for some infraction on one of the Brady clones. With 11 to choose from there would not be a play without a defensive penalty.
  17. Thankfully he was kind enough to wear his chain with the letters "YKDV". Probably helped narrow the group down a bit. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/04/14/report-kelvin-joseph-a-person-of-interest-in-dallas-murder-investigation/ Per this report he admitted to being at the scene to the Cowboys, but was not involved in the shooting. In any event if one of his group did the shooting and he said nothing .. I am no lawyer, but I believe that makes him an accessory after the fact. I suppose it is "possible" that after the fight someone else randomly drove down the same street and took a pot shot at those guys for no apparent reason .. but that is a little too much coincidence for me. He had character issues coming out of college to the point that people questioned whether we even had him on our draft board. It is not a safe assumption that he would have been our 2nd round pick.
  18. https://www.profootballrumors.com/2022/03/chiefs-stephon-gilmore-discussing-deal#ref=home Gilmore allegedly looking at Raiders and Chiefs. AFC West is rough
  19. Per Sports Illustrated the contract is heavily front-loaded to make it difficult for the Bills to match. They also gave some ideas how they could get some additional cap. https://www.si.com/nfl/bills/news/top-options-for-bills-now-that-ryan-bates-has-signed-bears-offer-sheet
  20. Lamb 1st rounder, Evans 1st rounder, Jefferson 1st rounder, M. Williams 1st round; Chase 1st rounder; Godwin 3rd rounder, Diggs 5th rounder; Hill 5th rounder; Davis 4th rounder; Adams 2nd rounder; Kupp 3rd rounder, Renfrow 5th rounder, D. Johnson undrafted. Obviously there are talented receivers in the first round, but WR tend to be a bit more hit and miss. The best CBs in the league (Ramsey, White, Gilmore, Lattimore, Ward) tend to be 1st rounders, some exceptions are X. Howard 2nd rounder, J.C. Jackson & Kenny Moore who were undrafted. Therefore I would definitely target a Cornerback.
  21. He is .. hasn't signed a defensive lineman in hours .. come on Beane get to it.
  22. Queue Rodgers crying .. perhaps if he didn’t squeeze the Pack for every single dime they could have afforded to keep him. So glad we have Josh
  23. 4 reasons this was a bad signing 1) He is a locker room cancer 2) We already had John Brown and Duke Williams 3) Only twice broke 1000 receiving yards and once barely before coming to the Bills 4) We were "this" close to getting a superstar WR in Antonio Brown Oh well I guess we are stuck with him
