  1. The Bills have contacted Kern per Tim Graham https://titanswire.usatoday.com/2022/08/30/nfl-free-agency-bills-brett-kern-titans/
  2. Josh Gordon cut from Chiefs. He wasted the best parts of his career.
  3. Jags trade Laviska Shenault (2020 2nd rounder) to Panthers https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/08/29/report-jaguars-trade-laviska-shenault-to-panthers/ Mohammed Sanu and Sony Michel get cut by the Dolphins https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/08/29/sony-michel-among-first-wave-of-dolphins-cuts/
  4. I know Pierre Kingpin. Pierre Kingpin is a friend of mine. And this twitter account is not Pierre Kingpin.
  5. @T&C you may want to add this link to the original post as they seem more up to date https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-roster-cuts-tracker-team-by-team-player-moves-ahead-of-the-2022-season
  6. He is here for 2 reasons .. 1) a great voice in Josh’s ear and who Josh respects; 2) to continue to build his credibility as a future QB coach .. which is the best path to OC and then HC
  7. USFL’s leading punter is a possibility. BRandon Wright 48 yd average zero blocked and he holds for kicks. https://www.footballdb.com/players/brandon-wright-wrighbr03
  8. He eventually plead guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Not certain the point you were making
  9. Hey .. been out of touch for a while .. was wondering about the punting competition. I heard a single Matt punted last night and hit a 53 yarder .. but was wondering if it was Haack or Araiza i figure that guy has the punting contest locked up.
  10. The Patriots on the other hand are dealing with coming off a preseason game where there starters were smoked by the Raiders backups and Mac looked bad. This review from the Patriots website says it all. They have a lot to figure out quickly https://www.patriots.com/news/game-observations-eight-takeaways-from-patriots-preseason-finale this video makes me smile. Rattled Mac throws pass to Raiders
  11. 1) if he is innocent wouldn’t that imply he made ok choices or are you asserting a 20 year old should skip all college parties? 2) A civil case is about money (and if he is guilty rightfully so). You can sue and win a million dollars against a homeless person .. but you will never see the money. I am quite certain if it were my daughter I would want her to get as much as possible. 3) So every time there is an accusation of impropriety they should cut the player? That seems heavy handed .. or should they wait till the Twitter jury decides the person’s fate.
  12. By cutting him who do we hurt 1) Matt if he is in fact innocent .. he loses probably a tenth of his lifetime earnings; 2) the young lady if he is guilty as she will have less money to get from him in compensation 3) the team as whomever we get at this point will be a downgrade. i suspect he was not open enough with the Bills on the situation.. probably hoping that it just goes away, but I would be shocked if he is still on the team by end of day Sunday. Having stated that the victim be it Matt if he is innocent or the young lady if he is guilty lose by the maneuver
  13. If it is confirmed true they will cut him super fast. They are just waiting to see which is a reasonable response. As an example if you were a member of their Administration i would think they would not fire you if you were a solid employee and somebody made an allegation about you until more facts were known that showed you were guilty
  14. Hosted by Brooke Kromer (his daughter) and Joe Marino he discusses what makes a good OL prospect, importance of position flexibility - "fastest way to get cut is to play one position", do they take into account who plays best together, coaching individuals that are part of a unit, etc. Good listen if interested in OLine play. 11 minutes.
  15. Per Matt Warren he will play in Carolina. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/8/25/23322695/despite-gang-rape-allegations-matt-araiza-set-to-play-friday-against-carolina-panthers
  16. I am confused .. you can be cleared of committing a crime? Are you implying allegation does not always equal guilt?
  17. So you are not a judge but you are fine passing judgement on Araiza before the facts are fully known .. got it. Please reread. Nobody called anyone else a Nazi. Interesting interpretation of me saying our fathers and grandfathers fought to protect us from the tyranny of the Nazis who would just drag people out declare their guilt and pass sentencing. Not an accurate one, but interesting.
  18. This is an interesting point. The courts are not perfect arbiters of truth, but you want to skip from accusations to punishment with no messy thing called due process. Due process is what allows the court system to function and to eliminate that just so you don't feel shame as a fan of the club is contrary to what our fathers and grandfathers fought for in stopping nazism where an accusation could lead to a firing squad. Let the process work and as stated above if he is a slime bag and did this, the victim will have even more money to go after. If he is innocent we will be able to be proud that we let the process work.
  19. The problem of course is there is the possibility that he is innocent see Brian Banks tge HS star who signed with USC she spent years in prison due town allegation that the accuser many years later admitted was totally fabricated https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Banks_(American_football) Or the Duke lacrosse scandal which the media jumped on.. assumed guilt ..and roasted them in the court of public opinion. it is more probable that something bad did happen to the young woman and if so Araiza deserves to pay the price .. and she would deserve every dime he earns. However in this country the assumption of innocence is essential to how our corrupt, twisted, yet best in the world court system works. If we fire everyone before they have their day in court why have a court system at all .. put it up to a Facebook vote and be done with it. He has not been exonerated and he has not been proven guilty so he should punt. Worst case is he is guilty and he earns some extra money that the alleged victim would then be able to get.
  20. Nobody remembers who was injured and why one team won and one team lost .. they only remember who hoisted the trophy. If the whole Rams starting lineup was out and the Bills win by a point and that victory helps them make the playoffs get home playoff games and ends up in a Super Bowl victory. No problem on my end. Show me the Lombardi in Buffalo.
  21. If I were Roger Goodell I would punish him by forcing the Rams to trade him to a cold winter location, but not in the NFC. It would be best if there was someone senior to him that he would respect that could monitor his behavior (say a Von Miller type). Make it a smaller market where there is less mischief to get into
  22. It was a joint practice .. he was beating a Bengal with a Bengal helmet.
  23. This is further proof that Beane is in over his head. A good GM would have 75% of the list.
  24. News got worse for him and the cowpokes. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/08/25/report-tyron-smith-suffered-an-avulsion-fracture/ He has an adulation fracture which will keep him out until at least December. Huge setback for the Cowboys
  25. It can get worse .. we could have a thread about a player in an underwear commercial. Then you would know that we have reached the depths. Thank goodness that will never happen.
