  1. I'm equally worried about passcatchers coming out of the backfield and repeatedly running away from overmatched LB's. Having Taron Johnson back is a huge difference maker, but Williams and Spector are both liabilities against the RB/TE/Hback position.
  2. This is the only acceptable amateur biking gear; mostly because there's M&M's, cigars and cold beers in the backpack.
  3. Still missing Von for another week, although you may not consider him a "starter". I'm uncomfortable just because I still remember what Baltimore did to Williams/Spector/Hamlin/Lewis and we couldn't do a thing about it.
  4. It was such a delightful hijacking that it give me Stockholm Syndrome.
  5. Hopefully God will let Phil sing. Fare thee well and thanks for all the fun 🤙 Nice history/bio on Phil
  6. Roquan Smith is getting fined for that one.
  7. That's the Umpire; the other official in the offensive backfield. He generally watches the left side of the OL/DL and can help the Referee on calls concerning the QB. He could not see the play because the LT/DE were in his line of sight. He bears no responsibility for the foul up; it's all on the Referee (white hat)
  8. I'd hate to see it all game as there are already too many flags disrupting the flow of games. But for certain penalties in the last 2:00 (i.e. facemask, PI, false start vs offside) implementing it would probably do more good than harm.
  9. I don't believe that they are allowed to use it to call missed penalties
  10. For the life of me I cannot fathom why I keep seeing multiple people want to do this.
  11. It depends on the dog. If it's a jerk dog, then I agree. But I've known plenty of dogs that would be better behaved and preferable to fly with than many people.
  12. imo, just adding Taron Johnson instead of Lewis is enough of an upgrade that it makes Rapp vs Bishop irrelevant.
  13. I wouldn't quibble with that. But I think the goal that got wiped out during camp was probably Rapp/Bishop/Johnson with Hamlin the odd man out. I'll be disappointed if we don't see that configuration by season's end.
  14. Imagine how great it would be if they did it the first 5 times!
  15. I think maybe I've just got to the point where the TV is such a pain in the ass to manage, that if I'm sick or beat up and it's veg time, I'll just lay a book on my chest and go to sleep; like it's some kind of freaking security blanket or something. Sorry about the attempted thread hijack; I'll crawl off and put some military sci-fi on my chest and have a nap. I'm so deaf that I now only go to movies with subtitles.
  16. A book
  17. Hey, I may not be a Road Scholar, but I ain't stupid...
  18. Dude, I can't even remember what I had for breakfast. I just hovered over his name and clicked Find Content; his comment was on the first page and the link led to the thread where several folks tried to educate him but were unfortunately unsuccessful due to .....ummmmm.... overwhelming circumstances.
  19. You made this same idiotic comment shortly after the draft and multiple people attempted to educate you about the Wonderlic, including the fact that the NFL stopped giving it at the combine years ago. Despite these folks' attempts to teach you something, you were apparently incapable of learning a single thing. Which means that Keon Coleman may very well have you beat by 50 IQ points.
  20. Yeah, the issues being that Cam Lewis, Baylon Spector, Dorian WIlliams and Damar Hamlin were all on the field all night long. Things should look a lot different the next time we see them.
  21. Thanks for that detailed, informative post Seattle trades Jerome Baker and a pick to Tennessee for Ernest Jones
  22. Please don't post unsubstantiated rumors from random internet personalities in these forums. We try to be better than that.
  23. Agree with all of this except one thing. He is not slower; in fact he looks as fast or faster to me than he has at almost any time in his career. Which is decidedly not typical for 30yr old 250lb backs. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him fail a PED test, especially if he ends up having to rehab an injury.
  24. Yeah, no mention at all. Except for that 10 page thread pinned to the very top of the page. Maybe you should have a seat and stop starting multiple mindless new threads with zero interesting, original or sensible content.
