  1. I'm not giving up hope yet in case he's protecting a toe, but he is absolutely a half step short of the guy we've seen throughout his career.
  2. I liked his decision making and thought it created a bunch of extra yards for him and kept this offense ahead of schedule. Combined with his effectiveness on first contact and that ability to buy extra yards at the end, it's a nice combination of traits; none of it flashes but it's really effective in keeping your offense moving.
  3. I'll have something to watch when the new 8 week old puppy get up raring to go at 3am
  4. He had really limited opportunities in the early part of this season, but actually was noticeable on more of them than you would expect. Since he's been getting more snaps lately (that's he's absolutely earned), he's been making even more good plays, several of them coming on key downs. They're not the kind of stuff that is going to show up on stat sheets, but he's been winning matchups that wreck plays and give other guys' opportunities, drawing penalties because he's beat somebody on a rep and made Von's suspension much less painful than it could be. Give that man some props for his work so far, cuz' cuz' has come to play.
  5. You could tell early that they were looking to throw flags as fast as they could at any remote opportunity. It was the exact opposite of how a football game should be properly officiated. I hope they are going to get absolutely chewed out by the league office.
  6. Hey, you're not the real Marcus Aurelius!
  7. He's been cursed with a lot of stacked lines all year and had minimal opportunity to plant a foot and go. As the primary back being able to get opportunities in a wider variety of down and distance, he got a lot more room to work with and really took advantage of it. Making good yards in narrow alleys was nice to see and he's a problem for people on first contact. He's not going to run away from anybody or terrify guys in the open field, but he might very well be a chain mover. Was that him who just wrecked somebody on a pickup mid/late 3rd qrtr or Ty Johnson? If the mental part of his game continues to improve, he's going to turn out have been a good pick; and that's coming from somebody who hates drafting RB's.
  8. He was spectacular tonight. He might have thrown two bad balls at teh most
  9. Oh, it's a total horror show. If it still looks like that in December, yeah it's time to make a move. But for now, they have to stick with him and find the right guy to coach him out of it.
  10. Surprised the play that ended it didn't result in instant labor
  11. They've got to stick with him. I have questions about the Bills K coach.
  12. to the Kuiper Belt. That was a really good game that they did everything they could to make awful
  13. Great game; very entertaining. Refs are annoying overofficious jerks. Oh well. Way to scrap for the full 60 boys
  14. I can't watch Tyler Bass kicking into that end of the field late in this game
  15. This is turning into a really good football game
  16. Half of them need to have their flags taken away
  17. <looks for a "We needed more RB's and less WR's" thread to merge this into>
  18. A Golden/Bernese mix
  19. This is true. But I don't really care about a get right game this week. In this matchup, I will be smiling like the butcher's dog even if we can just steal the world's ugliest, most undeserving W.
  20. I hated losing Morse much more than I disliked losing Diggs.
  21. Wait, MLB now has "ghostie on first"?! So we were 50 years ahead of the game.....
  22. You could just ban everybody on Day One! I got your back......
  23. Since they seem to be popping up like moles, maybe this will be a good place to start aggregating them all.
