  1. I think they punt
  2. I think both teams are getting away with murder and I kind of like it.
  3. I think Kelce just hurt his left shoulder
  4. You want a Taylor Swift filter to block the excessive Taylor Swift discussion? Physician, heal thyself.
  5. I understand space is limited here, but you could probably add just about everybody else on planet Earth to your list.
  6. I'll miss watching football, hockey and the NCAA tournament, but maybe in the bigger picture it will be a good thing to be able to sell my TV and spend even more time outside doing stuff.
  7. And here we go.... https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/06/media/espn-fox-warner-bros-discovery-team-up-sports-streamer/index.html

  9. Spot the differences: It's a trick question; there aren't any.

  12. I was just about to @ you.
  13. I don't watch Super Bowl commercials; I just read @Ralonzo's recaps which are superior in every way.
  14. The problem with this is that if you make it that obvious, you can expect your own QB to receive the very same treatment in short order. And that is not fair to your QB. There are hidden opportunities in games to take those shots, i.e. 2nd/short around midfield, early downs in goaltogo situations, when a QB exposes himself moving in traffic, etc. Ed Oliver recognizes these, takes those shots and gets called for it occasionally but is crafty enough about it that it doesn't blow back on to his own QB. To transpose and butcher Saruman: For all your wisdom, you have not subtlety.
  15. I wonder how many of those things are still hiding out in WNY closets and shoeboxes 40 years later. My guess is that both of our estimates would be low.👍
  16. The part I quoted. Nobody thinks getting knocked out of the playoffs in the second round is a "huge accomplishment" and nobody wants more of it. It's just some bull#### strawman you create to try to make yourself feel superior to others.
  17. Yeah, the starters on both sides of the ball are going to mostly remain intact. I'll miss Hyde and Gabe Davis' blocking, but neither are irreplaceable at this point in their careers. The tough part will be replacing the high volume of depth they're likely going to lose and we saw how important that depth can be this year. It will be tricky but at least it's manageable. I don't see this team taking any significant steps backwards next season. Heck, it's even reasonable to suggest that we might already be adding a blue chip veteran DE with the hopeful return of the real Von Miller next year.
  18. I think they should bring back Talkin' Proud and show the video that has the lady with the crazy chicken walk.
  19. Did you also adjust for the pressure of making a 45-48 yrd FG in the pressure of the NFC Championship game? Outdoors? On bad grass? Or are you just selecting your data so that it will reach the conclusion of the narrative you've already decided on?
  20. So you did a deep dive with a bunch of mathematics to make a declared conclusion that it was not worth it. Yet your entire mathematical argument hinges on "probably". Perhaps a game like football doesn't readily lend itself to rigid mathematical analysis.
  21. This is patently absurd and bears no relation to reality Detroit's success rate this season on 4th/3 or less is over 77% The first one was 45; I think the second one was around 48. In both instances, both kicking and going were acceptable options; neither call was "wrong" in either instance. Unless of course Badgley was struggling in pregame to make 45yrd kicks on that ***** grass; if that was the case, then going for it was absolutely correct. From my perspective, I would have gone for the first one to keep pressure on SF, maintain possession to burn clock and hunt for a TD that might finish the game. The second one I would probably have kicked to tie the game (again, dependent on how much Badgley was struggling pregame).
