Bills receivers are not getting open, but Allen finds them when they do
Simon replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Bills have the highest run to pass ratio in the NFL since Brady took over. -
Von Miller: Bills made “right decision” to sit me
Simon replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they had two young safeties waiting in the wings, maybe you consider letting him go. But they don't, so they can't, imo. I don't know what his cap number looks like, but if it's not out of control you keep him instead of creating another hole you then have to fill. He likes money and it's a contract year so you know you're going to get his best. -
Why is Diggs coming off the field on Third Downs?

It's already a non-story because it's clearly just some **** that somebody made up. -

Fair point, but I think it's still a valid topic for discussion despite McCourty's foolishness. Although if the OP continues to use the thread as a vehicle for McCourty's nonsense conspiracy theory, your suggestion will be adopted. -

Poyer was outstanding last weekend. He can still play, he just has to pick his spots because he can't do it every week and stay in one piece. -
Every day. But that's life. If you just do your best, then you've done everything you could and you don't have anything to feel bad about.

The issue with a lot of these analyses has to do with expectations I think. We see him make these throws that nobody else in the world makes, and we see it on almost a weekly basis. Hell, we've seen him makes throws that I've never seen any other QB make. Ever. So it sets this unattainable standard as an expectation and then when he comes out and just plays "good", it looks like a below average performance when in reality it's just the same hits and misses we see from other good QBs every single week. As for last week, he just got put through the wringer by one of the 2-3 best defensive coaches in the history of this sport. That's probably the best designed and called defense he'll see this year and he only threw the one pick (which was a spectacular defensive play on a 50yrd throw), put up 20 points (despite at least 4-5 bad drops), made a bunch of plays with his feet and won a game they really needed. It was a scrappy, solid game from a tough veteran QB but because he missed a couple very difficult throws that we see him make at times, there's a narrative that he wasn't good. It may have been one of the "worst" 2-3 games he played on the year, but it was also the kind of outing that Belichick frequently forces all good QB's into. And he still won. When the standard has become superhuman, plain old human tends to pale in comparison. -

I think they're talking about when he is older. -

Why does this team always seem like it's running on fumes?
Simon replied to T.E.'s topic in The Stadium Wall
And you think that game was a result of them "running on fumes"? Well, I guess this would explain why they are currently 4-12. -

I think if you show Ramsey a couple of those hitches we've been running a ton of, he'll bite on one like the largemouth he is. -

This is a 100% bullspit and you are well aware of it. As you were told at the time, you were put in the penalty box for dropping nearly 100 posts in a single day after being repeatedly asked to dial it back because you were annoying other members of this community with your ongoing repetitive crusade. I've got enough stuff to deal with; don't come in here telling lies about the work I'm putting in.

Bills-Dolphins Week 18 for the Division! SUNDAY NIGHT GAME

Well then, from my perspective, I'd see that as Jim making one more great play for the Bills. -
I don't know if facts bear it out, but I get the sense that this is about the time the Bills tend to look for replacements when contracts are expiring next year.

I should have left the commentary out. I was just trying to learn more about the implication that somebody currently in the Bills organization has some sort of beef with Harbaugh. If it was in reference to Jim Kelly, then it's sort of moot as I don't think he has any influence in hiring decisions. -

He took over a loaded Niners team that had been run into the ground by Mike Singletary who was so bad he is not even welcome in the league any more and most recently went 1-21 as a HS coach. And right on cue, it blew up in his face in year 4 and he was handed his hat. And I thought Michigan looked better with Sherron Moore managing games than Harbaugh. Not to mention that San Diego was a conference champion the year before he got there and also the year after he left; he had minimal effect on their program. If I'm an NFL owner, I don't let this megalomaniac anywhere near my franchise. And I will step out now as I don't want to drive this thread off the rails. -

That one was so bizarre, I'm still questioning whether it was really a latent cry for help. -

He is a great recruiter, not a great coach, imo. As long as his talent is superior to his opponent's (i.e. SF, UM) it typically overcomes the multiple mistakes he regularly makes. Additionally, he is much better off in college where players have less power and only have to put up with his idiocy and attitude for 2-3 years. Every pro job he ever takes will likely blow up in his face within 3-4 years when adults and professionals are done with his stupidity and self-important ignorance. -

Are you talking about Pegula? Josh Allen? Beane? Does one of them recognize what a moronic tool that Jim Harbaugh is? -

This is a really strange observation to make after having watched this team play its balls off for the last 6 weeks. -
