The plausibility of NE getting the ball back with time to run multiple plays was much higher than the probability of your 250lb QB getting hurt right there. We're flirting with elimination scenarios and it is no time to dick around and call a scared game. Attack.

He was absolutely looking for somebody to pitch it to and if Shakir had been 2 yrds further back, I have zero doubt he would have done it.

Weird that it was also a left shoulder injury just shortly before Allen's.
-
Just making sure everybody is on the same page with the QB change and there are going to be no unexpected disasters with snap counts, exchanges, personnel, formations, etc. There was zero downside and nothing dumb about it.

My Phins buddy just told me Xavien Howard also left on a cart with a foot injury.
-
Tua also with a left shoulder and Chubb may have suffered a bad knee injury in garbage time of the blowout.

Rasul Douglas Terrel Bernard Sam Martin Jordan Poyer Honorable mention to Khalil Shakir

They've scored as many as they've given up.

The OC or the TE ?-)

Jordan Poyer has been outstanding all day

Leonard Floyd is on his third jersey

Enough with the pressure packages, Sean. You don't need them today.

We found the culprit.

NE is an extremely well-coached defense but they're a little green. I'd like to see Brady push the pacing some (as would Allen, I bet) and not fall into the Dorsey trap of being too deliberative between snaps.

Understandable. He was probably hard to see behind the bass drum.

OLB Von Miller is a healthy inactive today vs. the Patriots. I would only dispute the bolded

You can repeat it 'til the cows come home and you'll still be wrong. He was not covered.

Interesting strategy. You know you're going to get pantsed by a bigger, smarter, stronger, faster, tougher team so you quit before the game even starts and then you can walk around saying we could have won if we wanted to. I suppose if every starter that opted out had played and scored a TD, they could have made up the 70 points they needed.

So are we done pretending that FSU belonged in the playoffs and that Georgia isn't one of the best two teams in the country?
-
Who in the AFC would teams rather not see in the playoffs?

I get this. But in my head, until they're not the Browns; they are still the Browns. -
DaQuan Jones is BACK - will play vs the Patriots

I am happy for the guy; he clearly loves to play and I'm really glad to that he gets to because he's earned it. I just think that in a few weeks after a couple JAG quality games, there is going to be spoiled-rotten little brats running around here tossing around 3rd grade nicknames crying about how he's stealing money from the Bills after he's been busting his ass doing intense rehab for months. That might be the first time I'd literally have to turn my head or leave the room for a play that I couldn't bear to watch. If he makes it, I might not even be able to watch a replay until the next day when I could eventually start to believe that a procedural flag wasn't going to come flying into the locker room during the post-game celebration. -

You know we're going to get there just to get blown out, right?
