honestly I’m not sure because I agree with you but they are putting them in stadiums. I have not been inside one yet but I assume it’s a branded fan zone type deal with some staff to walk newbies through getting the app and placing bets, probably a bar in there of course too. edit: and some of them may have old school windows and kiosks like casino books do for people who don’t want to bet on their phones.

Actually yes! Thanks for reminding me - I know the original plan was to build onto Soldier Field yet again but now the plan is to move to a completely different site and new building. So yeah even that reno was abandoned. And yet it’s being floated here that “oh just rip out the rotting decks. Throw on a roof.” As if the league would have even agreed to that.
