Big Ben to the Bench! #2 Seed is ours!
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mason Rudolph playing is no guarantee that the Browns win, just like Barkley playing would still give the Bills a good chance to win. Rudolph can be good in spurts, even better than Roethlisberger for a bit. Steelers rested starters when 2004 Bills were in exact same situation as 2020 Browns, and we know how that turned out. We also know the Browns are kind of cursed, and the Steelers have their number. This is not a done deal at all. Bills should bury Dolphins and/or wait for Browns to bury Steelers, then rest everyone humanly possible immediately. -
Steelers officially playing backups vs Browns

Baltimore. Obviously, second-hottest behind the Bills. I think it's clear what it means when this is being written from a Bills perspective. The Ravens are the hottest team we could play/the hottest team other than ourselves. The Steelers rested against the Bills in exactly the same scenario once. Cautionary tale for the Browns.

How do we support Duke?

He said "...he was throwing to Duke Williams!..." and said his name in a kind of disgusted/insulting way. -

Playoff Matchup Probability
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to cv05's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're wrong. If we lose and Baltimore wins, we play Baltimore in 4 of 8 scenarios. That's why we need to win, or the Steelers need to lose. Bills need to play starters long enough to secure win or see that Browns have secured win. -
The Taiwan Jones Dropped TD
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So embarrassing. He was waving his hands calling for the ball and then dropped it! -
Oh my god. Yes, you play him. If you don't, you're probably playing Baltimore and going on the road for the Divisional, and you risk losing momentum. We need to stop having this conversation. There is still so much to play for. WGR has collectively lost its mind; seems to be a case of groupthink as Jeremy White started it this morning and every other host has just run with it, many of them not even actually knowing the scenarios.

You can't live that way. That's like Dick Jauron playing not to lose, not playing to win. -
Playoff Matchup Probability

Assuming win tonight: Win next week, play Indianapolis or Miami, host Divisional, potential to host AFCCG Rest/lose next week, play Baltimore or Cleveland, road Divisional, less likely to host AFCCG Frankly, I can't believe people are even contemplating resting. -
Bring back Fitz in 2021!

This feels like a sarcastic "Football shouldn't break your heart" post. Note, we are on a board that probably only the top 1% of Bills fans participate in -- the diehards who live and die. So yes, our hearts break. -
Playoff Matchup Probability

There is still a way: Bills beat NE, lose to MIA, and PIT beats CLE What are you smoking? Get #2 and you have 0% chance of playing Baltimore, and you're hosting the Steelers in the Divisional instead of going on the road. Sorry @Royale with Cheese, accidentally quoted you -
Playoff Matchup Probability

This is pretty crazy. Soooooo if we lose both, likely play MIA. Win both, likely play IND. Lose to NE only, likely play IND. Lose to MIA only, likely play CLE. It appears that losing both might give us best matchup! In that scenario, 6-BAL probably beats 3-TEN, meaning we play PIT in Divisional just the same as other scenarios except game is in PIT. Of course, I want to win both. It's just crazy that losing both COULD be more favorable. -
"What's up" call to hike the ball
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was a whole discussion about what Allen and many other QBs say, because it's DEFINITELY not "hut." At that time, someone said Allen says "white set" I believe. Maybe he does say "what's up." The exact sound seems to be "wussut." Some QBs' cadence really gets on my nerves. Mahomes and the constant "Let's go bluuuuuue 80" is getting incredibly annoying. As is Roethlisberger's "Blue 20?" said like a question. -
