  1. Not a sure thing at all... One of three very realistic possibilities along with IND (I think most likely) and CLE. If PIT beats IND tomorrow, we almost certainly avoid the Ravens. I know Bills fans want to lock up #2 this week but that would involve matchups going in a way that increases the chances of playing BAL. So as fans we kind of have to decide what we prefer... Clinch #2 early and rest, or likely play BAL.
  2. I don't believe the football gods will allow a 10-win team to miss the playoffs in a 7-team format. That's why I believe the Dolphins will lose this week and to the Bills to finish 9-7.
  3. The Cardinals haven't looked the same ever since beating us.
  4. I sure hope that doesn't happen. The NFL app, Game Pass, and their customer service are awful, so Sunday Ticket through the NFL would probably be similarly neglected.
  5. Oh, you're using a computer? That makes sense then.
  6. Flipped from NFLN to Prime, and even though the picture is perfectly pristine with no lag or compression, you can immediately tell it's streaming with a low frame rate because of the dizzying camera movement. I'm actually wondering if most other people just don't notice. Again, if you're just looking at a still frame (like a scoreboard or playoff standings graphic), it looks just like satellite. But when you get into sports movement, you can tell it's streaming. Furthermore, it's 1-2 plays behind ESPN's Gamecast.
  7. NFLN feed on a laptop would be fine. It's not internet speed; it's the frame rate that the channel/provider transmits to the broadcaster (or that the broadcaster reduces and sends to the consumer in some cases). These vary among streaming providers. HD yes, but is the movement of the ball, players, and camera as smooth as it is on broadcast? Be aware that you can't currently watch Game Pass on a TV with a TV-quality frame rate. You would be fine if you're watching on a computer.
  8. Really? I'll be curious to see what it looks like today. At some point, all streaming services will probably catch up, but so far Sunday Ticket is the only one using a 60fps frame rate that on a TV looks just like satellite and allows for the fast movement in sports. Other apps (NFL Game Pass, YouTube, Locast, Sling, you name it) are dizzying as the players, ball, and camera move. It's amazing to me that providers for the most part haven't addressed this as it is literally the only reason I haven't cut the cord.
  9. Bezos can certainly afford it. They will need to fix the frame rate if so. It still looks like streaming sports (unlike the Sunday Ticket app, which looks just like real TV).
  10. I keep telling myself to stop trusting WGR, and I just keep succumbing o'er and o'er. Wait...we have *fish* that actually fry people somehow? This I gotta see
  11. I'm so confused, lol. Are you talking about my "Why'd you have to bump this, yo" comment? That was said as a joke on myself because I know this thread doesn't seem to be aging well. I don't think I've said anything else in here since the bump. Merry Christmas.
  12. In all seriousness, why do we still mostly use the gray facemask? Does anyone really think it looks better than white? Kansas City is white all the time.
  13. The record doesn't depend on Allen throwing the ball, right? It's just # of players on team to catch TD, no? I think Allen's receiving TD is included.
  14. I mean, it's kind of a good point.
  15. Hopefully they overindulge on Christmas treats.
  16. Hopefully the Patriots will find the Bills raining blows on them come Monday night.
  17. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/12/22/49ers-sign-josh-rosen/amp/ Could be interesting to see if "Good Josh" can do anything under Shanahan.
  18. Among the possible playoff opponents in all rounds: 1. Dolphins - Win 2. Steelers - Win 3. Colts - Win 4. Browns - Lean Win 5. Titans - Tossup 6. Ravens - Lean Loss 7. Chiefs - Likely Loss
  19. It's a Wonderful Life is the classic of classics. I actually directed the stage version in high school and played George Bailey in it, and then I played him again in a radio play version 10 years later at a local theatre here in my city
  20. Cool. I actually had it on today and didn't like it. I prefer The Santa Clause
