  1. The Toronto thing and calling Brian "Da Bull" were pretty darn bad.
  2. Allen has crossed the threshold. When he struggles in games, commentators will stop reaching back to his pre-draft analysis and instead give him the benefit of the doubt, just like they do with the other great ones. The Bills are better than the Packers. I don't think it's really close. Better than the Saints, too.
  3. Watching how the Bills roll with things, if they do end up getting #2, which I think they will, I think they'll have to struggle through that first game and find a way to win it, because they're going to come out tight as hell in that game bc it represents their stated goal (winning it) for the season. Get over that hump, and they'll probably roll in the Divisional with the pressure off.
  4. I truly do not understand this thought process
  5. How is it ridiculous? This is a big concern any time it comes up in games. The Bills allow conversions essentially 100% of the time under McDermott. This also killed us in the playoffs last year. Drawing attention to it is worthwhile.
  6. I honestly think home is a disadvantage if anything for this Bills team this year. I think being "the enemy" in an opposing team's stadium does more for them psychologically than playing in an empty home stadium. I really do. And looking at the playoff teams, other than the Chiefs, I don't really see any difference in matchup favorability. So, it's weird, but I really don't think seeding matters at all, except to avoid the Chiefs until the AFCCG. I do think the Bills are the #2 team in the NFL.
  7. Unbelievable. This team CANNOT stop a two-point conversion. All the momentum to Pittsburgh now. It'll be 23-23 in a minute.
  8. The Bills have been almost as bad as they possibly could be on offense. Yet they lead 9-7. The halftime lead is analytically significant, and the basic football trends seem to suggest they'll do better on offense in the second half as well. At any rate, nice to have the HT lead. McDermott's Bills with halftime lead: 27-2, 93% Two losses were playoffs in OT and the Hail Murray. Is tonight the third loss?
  9. Even watching the Bills through a 17-year playoff drought, I have never seen them as bad on offense as they are tonight. Inept, confused, and being pushed back and running scared from the Pittsburgh defense.
  10. Yep. He's way off. For everyone saying his arm got hit, no... Just look at his eyes. He's off.
  11. So tight. That's exactly what it is. I don't know why this team has such a hard time at home.
  12. Allen looks terrible. It's the hard truth. For some reason, he's spooked. Maybe thinking too much about Watt. Just needs to let go and play. You can see it in his eyes.
  13. Dianna all day, unless emaciation is your thing!
  14. I think we're going to win today.
  15. He does have to show that he can be the same player when it's cold out. He really does. This would be the game to do it. Literally all of his good games have been in hot weather or domes.
  16. Why am I not surprised that Ryan Clark, Bart Scott, and Keyshawn Johnson aren't on board? These guys. I don't know what their issue is and, in some cases, has been for a long time.
  17. How would we feel if the Bills were without Hughes, Edmunds, Milano, Klein, and White? This is pretty much the equivalent defensive loss the Steelers are dealing with. The Bills should carve them up.
  18. At this specific, precise moment of time, they have a lot of similarities, but I wouldn't expect it to continue.
