  1. The 1 seed is unrealistic and undeserved. The 2 seed is realistic and deserved. I think it's going to happen. Seems highly unlikely that seeding won't be in play.
  2. Do you disagree that this year is our best financial opportunity to win the Super Bowl?
  3. I wonder if Star will come right back and start for this team.
  4. I don't...I try to be realistic, and my nature is to prepare for the worst. I'm not sure how you can deny that it's more advantageous when you have a star QB on a rookie deal; once we pay him, the team around him will be harder to maintain. @Jaraxxus, seriously, what is incorrect or unreasonable about this take that makes you laugh at it? When positivity and realism are the same in my view, you'll see me be very positive... There are plenty of those posts out there, even from today. But sometimes the realistic view is not so perfectly rosy. Folks should be able to deal with that. Perpetual positivity is annoying and unrealistic.
  5. Never, ever equate me with that piece of **** Andrew Luck lookalike.
  6. Schopp cares more about fantasy than the Bills, and you get the sense that that's all he'd talk about if no one stopped him.
  7. Yeah, I cringe daily when callers tell Tasker how amazing he is and how he should be in the Hall. How people haven't gotten a clue by now is beyond me.
  8. A top contract for Allen could doom us to just a good playoff team for the next decade. We need to win the Super Bowl this year.
  9. Broncos will be without both Bouye and his replacement. With John Brown presumably back, Allen should absolutely feast. He will also have confidence going into the game because he doesn't see the Broncos as a big bad team, and he'll just play. That's when he balls out. I'm calling it... First big blowout of the year here.
  10. He said, "I had no idea Toronto was right there!" Tirico corrected/embarrassed him by saying it's actually 100 miles away.
  11. The first 8 minutes of GMFB was orgasmic. "Buffalo, you beautiful bastards," said Kyle Brandt.
  12. I wonder why they couldn't show the video in the locker room victory speech.
  13. The Toronto thing and calling Brian "Da Bull" were pretty darn bad.
  14. Allen has crossed the threshold. When he struggles in games, commentators will stop reaching back to his pre-draft analysis and instead give him the benefit of the doubt, just like they do with the other great ones. The Bills are better than the Packers. I don't think it's really close. Better than the Saints, too.
  15. Watching how the Bills roll with things, if they do end up getting #2, which I think they will, I think they'll have to struggle through that first game and find a way to win it, because they're going to come out tight as hell in that game bc it represents their stated goal (winning it) for the season. Get over that hump, and they'll probably roll in the Divisional with the pressure off.
  16. I truly do not understand this thought process
  17. How is it ridiculous? This is a big concern any time it comes up in games. The Bills allow conversions essentially 100% of the time under McDermott. This also killed us in the playoffs last year. Drawing attention to it is worthwhile.
  18. I honestly think home is a disadvantage if anything for this Bills team this year. I think being "the enemy" in an opposing team's stadium does more for them psychologically than playing in an empty home stadium. I really do. And looking at the playoff teams, other than the Chiefs, I don't really see any difference in matchup favorability. So, it's weird, but I really don't think seeding matters at all, except to avoid the Chiefs until the AFCCG. I do think the Bills are the #2 team in the NFL.
  19. Unbelievable. This team CANNOT stop a two-point conversion. All the momentum to Pittsburgh now. It'll be 23-23 in a minute.
  20. The Bills have been almost as bad as they possibly could be on offense. Yet they lead 9-7. The halftime lead is analytically significant, and the basic football trends seem to suggest they'll do better on offense in the second half as well. At any rate, nice to have the HT lead. McDermott's Bills with halftime lead: 27-2, 93% Two losses were playoffs in OT and the Hail Murray. Is tonight the third loss?
  21. Even watching the Bills through a 17-year playoff drought, I have never seen them as bad on offense as they are tonight. Inept, confused, and being pushed back and running scared from the Pittsburgh defense.
