  1. Well, the Bills have chosen to gamble. We'll see how this turns out.
  2. Playing Pittsburgh home vs. away is not the primary thing at stake. Playing Baltimore round 1 is. I have a strange feeling Watson is going to knock Titans out of playoffs. Could just be indigestion
  3. I don't know if it's possible for the Bills to lose to the Dolphins at home in a season finale. Let's roll!
  4. The fact that we didn't elevate any practice squad WRs could be telling. With Beasley out and Stills unsigned, we don't have a lot of bodies to allow for resting guys. I expected to see Duke Williams up like in Week 17 last year.
  5. I don't like the Bills in home night games. I want first game Saturday. Why would SNF be almost guaranteed to be an NFC team?
  6. The Saints will surely be on Sunday because that's the first day Kamara can come back.
  7. The easiest way to look at it is this: the Bills or the Browns need to win. Otherwise, we are more than likely playing the Ravens. See attached for all scenarios.
  8. This seems oddly aggressive. I'm not going to offer anything more at this time -- I mentioned a number of things, and there is certainly more than rankings and stats that plays a role in how teams perform. I think the Ravens are/will be in a great place psychologically going into these playoffs.
  9. The level of incompetence from people who actually cover this stuff is staggering. Not playing the Chiefs until the Championship is already guaranteed. It is literally impossible, no matter what happens on Sunday or Wild Card Weekend, for us to play the Chiefs until the Championship game. *bangs head against wall*
  10. You can always try to poke holes in anything or try to discredit someone because they were once wrong about something else, or make questionable transitive arguments, but I definitely stand by my take on what the Ravens are as a team right now, and it will not be long until we find out.
  11. The Ravens are a Championship-quality opponent. I'm not sure why anyone wants that early in the playoffs.
  12. They're #1 in the NFL in point differential. They're coming in extremely hot, with a chip on their shoulder and no pressure. Some of the more respected talking heads agree. Chris Simms called them a top 4-5 team this week. So the fact that people are conflating them with the other Wild Card teams is baffling. This is a team that was 14-2 last year, a preseason Super Bowl favorite this year, and dealt with a lot of injuries and COVID throughout the season. They are just now hitting their stride and will probably beat whoever they play in Round 1.
  13. Yeah, we definitely can't count on any favors coming out of Cleveland. For the reasons you mentioned AND: *Mason Rudolph revenge game *Browns have six starters out with COVID, nullifying the fact that Steelers are resting *Browns are cursed *2004 Bills were in exact same situation against Steelers backups and blew it
  14. I just don't see that working. I don't think the starters will come in and save the day. I think you try to bury the Dolphins early with a killer instinct and hope the Browns are doing the same to the Steelers. If/when either thing happens, you pull everyone you can while still fielding a team
  15. Wouldn't base it on Madden, but yes, obviously we need to avoid them and we should do whatever we have to do to secure the #2 seed. It is impossible for us to play the Ravens if they win and we are #2. That's why this rest argument going around is so absurd. We need to win, or we need to make sure the Browns are winning, period, before pulling people. Drawing the Ravens would be a disaster and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't paying attention to what's going on in that football team. Among BAL/TEN/CLE/IND/MIA, one does not belong and it's the Ravens.
  16. I came here to say this. A half to go, but he looks very ordinary in what might be his final game at Clemson. Fields, on the other hand, looks like a fierce competitor with a burning desire to win, along with mad talent throwing and running the ball. He looks like a star and a problem. Recent interview with Lawrence revealed he isn't even really an NFL fan -- HUGE red flag if you ask me. It seems like he does football because he's good at it. I don't watch much college football, so interested to hear more. What are the red flags? He looks incredible right now.
  17. Parker will play and play well. He's a Bills killer for some reason.
  18. Duke Williams about to be cut to make room for Stills on P.S., I believe.
  19. I also feel it is inevitable that the Bills win the Super Bowl.
  20. My score prediction is based on the scenario that Allen plays a half. MIA 21 BUF 31
  21. Jake Rudock, just signed. In other words, it's Tua and that's IT.
  22. Yes, but I don't think anyone really expected him to finish the game. This changes the outlook of this game significantly. This Bills team should be able to beat this version of the Dolphins in Buffalo even while sitting some players. I like our D, even without some starters, against Turod Tagotaylora in the cold, with no backup plan, and with huge pressure on him. The rookie is going to crumble.
