  1. I just circled the Bucs game on my ***** calendar 📅
  2. This sounds like something I would be focusing on!
  3. Holy crap! Contract year, and you earn the contract after 4 games. As Chris Brown would say, good on him.
  4. Makes a ton of sense but probably too many logistical hurdles.
  5. I have no issue whatsoever with being told that I need perspective. I think that's probably true.
  6. This post is strictly about me and why I approach things the way I do. Some people call me a troll, and that really gets under my skin because I am as big of a Bills fan as there is. I'm sure this post will get locked, moved, and/or deleted, but I want to give people a brief chance to understand who "Giuseppe Tognarelli" really is. My life has revolved around the Bills since I was a little kid. I'm 33. I'm just young enough to not remember any of the Super Bowls; my first memory is the @ Miami game in '94. What a game that was. Just awesome. Despite never living in or having any association with Buffalo, I was a loyal diehard during the drought, being constantly laughed at and harassed by Steelers fans. My brother and I cried when Lindell missed that field goal against the Browns on MNF (and when the Cowboys made theirs). As a young teenager, I DESTROYED my room when the Bills lost to the Steelers in '04. I was overconfident and sure we'd win and go to the playoffs, and the anger and disappointment broke me. I took to expecting the worst and talking myself through it in advance because I couldn't handle the pain of disappointment that occurred so often when the Bills snatched defeat from the jaws of victory during those years. In my family, I became known as the utter diehard but also the realist and the pessimist. From the age of 15 I was highly active on the BBMB every day. I eventually became a season ticket holder and drove 5 hours up and 5 hours back every Sunday. I am not a troll. I still struggle to handle the pain of disappointment if I let myself get too excited or confident about the Bills' chances. I care too much. I try to be super realistic in my views but sometimes lean more towards the pessimistic because it is a protective mechanism. I genuinely feel bad for fans who fall super hard because I know how hard that has been for me in the past, so I think I feel a need to prepare other fans in hopes that I'll help them see bad things coming so they don't fall as hard if we lose. That's where I'm coming from. And, sometimes, I just spill my anxieties. I'm not a troll. I know I have issues. But I care about the Bills more than any healthy person should and more than anyone I've ever known. All I want is to see a Super Bowl win. It's literally my greatest wish in life, as screwed up as that is. I'm not a troll. I worry about stupid crap because I care SO much. Go Bills.
  7. Like I said, we'll see what happens. I just don't want you guys to never see it coming if it doesn't go well.
  8. You guys are insufferable. The KC defense played well against us 2x last year, and they'll be on high alert for this game too. It's a big game. I expect them to have a great game plan and play well. See my full game prediction. I am not trolling. God, this is so frustrating. It's a matchup league, a gameplan league, a week-to-week league, a big-game league. You can't just look at stats and expect them to hold. Do you actually watch football??? & I hope the Bills crush them and you call me out and troll me afterwards. I want nothing more than to be wrong and celebrate a massive win No one called me a troll when I said the Bills would beat the Texans 41-3. I always call it like I see it. Any time that's not good for the Bills, I'm suddenly a troll. Sick of this.
  9. Are you serious? Good grief. Let's see what happens in the game.
  10. I'm not going 40-17, but I think the part about the defense will in fact happen.
  11. No he didn't. Reviews were bad. Don't let the sack fool you.
  12. He's a Buffalo meteorologist who is on with Sal and Joe every Friday, but I don't see why he couldn't look at KC weather also
  13. McDermott announces that Milano WILL practice today!
  14. Thread isn't about belief or fear, it's about objective predictions (or, at least, should be).
  15. I predicted BUF 41, HOU 3 last week, so don't accuse me of being negative. My best prediction for Sunday night is this: I think the Bills defense plays well early, but on the other side, Josh is nervy and we're thinking, "Man, if only the offense could get its act together, we'd have this one." Spagnuolo will magically have a great gameplan for this one to frustrate the Bills offense even though KC's defense sucks against everyone else. Chiefs will lead 30-16 and end up winning 30-23. Bills will have a faint prayer at the end but fail to recover an onside kick. Side note: I predict Breida will be active. Bills will get too cute with the gameplan instead of sticking with what they do. Bills go on to get #1 seed and beat Chiefs in playoffs at home. With Bills at 14-3, Chiefs just have to lose two more for Bills to get #1 seed. Tasker seems to agree that the stars are aligning for KC to have a big game here. He also said he'd almost rather lose this one to set up to win the next one at home in the playoffs. Feels Chiefs would be overconfident in playoffs, leading to mental edge; tough to beat same team twice in a year and they'd feel like we can't beat them after they beat us 3x. I'm trying to think of a game that we lost 37-23?
  16. Tasker checked in from Alaska today, so kudos to the poster who had that tip about his daughter's wedding.
  17. Not good. This likely means that Spencer Brown and Dane Jackson exited practice early with new injuries.
  18. On Monday, he literally said Dalton is the starter when healthy. What changed in the past 2 days? Dalton must be pissed. A good leader keeps his word; Nagy certainly did not.
  19. Bills are only championship participant not interested in signing Gilmore. Why?
  20. Four-man rush, a variety of looks, double Hill, jam Kelce. On offense, balanced but aggressive. Don't get too cute; i.e., don't activate Breida and overthink it. Do what you do well and take advantage of the KC defense like everyone else does.
  21. Hughes, Milano, White, Hyde, and Poyer have gone to KC and beaten Hill and Kelce before. The only problem is that Mahomes was on the bench.
