  1. Even if he didn't cheat on his wife, just seeing an NFL coach in this position is shocking and, as far as I can recall, unprecedented. What will happen?
  2. They played on Thursday but I don't disagree about Urban's prognosis
  3. Surely this is an indication that T. Johnson won't go. That would be ideal. Save him for the Chiefs. The Texans would need multiple acts of God to compete with the Bills.
  4. I'll reflect on this, but I really don't feel that I seek attention. The reason I quoted myself was because of the reactions to the post; I wouldn't have quoted myself if people hadn't been interacting. That's the only way I knew to respond to the feedback on the post. The original post was just intended to say I'm disappointed in Oliver in a humorous way after Joe DiBiase opined that what McD said about Oliver was the heaviest type of criticism he ever levels on a player. It's possible that I have tendencies, behaviors, and motivations that are more obvious to others than they are to me, but I was just expressing disappointment in Oliver in a way that came naturally to me.
  5. To be a top-10 pick and not a great player is, in my opinion, a bust. You certainly draft in that position expecting a cornerstone/building block piece. I didn't until people insulted my intelligence. Then I have a right to defend myself.
  6. Did I say he struggled or that he just doesn't dominate them like you'd expect? I know I said he usually does win. At any rate, that wasn't my best argument.
  7. There's certainly no attention seeking. I often defend myself when criticized though. On Oliver, it would seem obvious to the average fan that he's not a great player. You don't need complex analysis to determine that when it's right before your eyes. It's like someone being asked to prove that water is wet. As a top-10 pick, his impact should be self evident.
  8. I know OL are overweight by definition, but Ford looks TOO chunky and sluggish to me. I think he needs to lean up a little bit.
  9. Thanks; I appreciate that. I subjected myself to a real IQ test once, and I scored in the first category down from the top. I believe the Stanford-Binet model was used for scoring (attached below). What's really super interesting to me is that one can say exactly the same thing both here and on Twitter, and the two collective responses are completely different. This really is a tough crowd of unconditional fans who think their job is to support and defend the team and players without objectivity.
  10. Please explain what in my post is incorrect and why it is so incorrect so as to suggest that I need meds to correct my deranged views. Everything I said is accurate and reasonable, and the opinion would likely be shared by anyone who doesn't have homer blinders on. If you think Ed Oliver has performed to expectations for a top-10 pick, perhaps medication would be beneficial for you as well. Or maybe this is just yet another instance where you jump on anyone who has anything but glowing praise for Bills players.
  11. What? This is totally baseless. What other Bills do I think are busts? Also, even if I did think that (which I certainly don't), that shouldn't change the reaction to the fact that Oliver is a bust. People just don't want to hear it because it's negative. So Ed Oliver is performing up to the standard of a top-10 pick, you think? I never said he had to be Donald, but being just a serviceable player isn't good enough.
  12. It's cute how everyone is reacting negatively to this -- how much time does Oliver get? 3 years? 4 years? The jury should not be out on a top-10 pick anywhere near that long. As a top-10 pick, he's clearly a bust. "Serviceable" is nowhere near good enough for a top-10 pick. Frazier said they are expecting a breakout season. So far, that's not happening. If he were a third rounder, he wouldn't be a bust, but as a top-10 pick I don't see how he could be characterized otherwise. He's supposed to be a star and an impact player, but he's clearly not.
  13. Peter King needs to call it a career. He's increasingly grumpy, Florio can't stand him, and the way King's hands shake when he picks up his cup is alarming.
  14. You didn't even mention picking Boogie Basham in Round 2 this year and taking Tommy Doyle in the 5th. I didn't know that story!
  15. Good afternoon, Ed Oliver is a bust. Thank you,
  16. I'm just saying the MSN article keeps talking about a sore throat, which is a painful condition. Many times, people get a raspy voice from overexertion or other reasons but they don't actually have that raw sore throat feeling.
  17. There is absolutely no excuse for the Davis Mills-led Texans to score any points outside of gifted field position, special teams mishaps, or defensive scores. The player is starting his 13th game since high school. A shutout should be expected. I'll say we gift them a field goal somehow. HOU 3 BUF 41
  18. This article is weird. Just because he has a raspy voice doesn't mean he has a sore throat.
  19. Poyer and Feliciano out. No big deal. T. Johnson questionable. They need to hold him out for KC, for sure.
  20. Sorry. Yours is not a name I see and immediately think "Here we go," unlike some others
