I think it would be way down the list of things I'd worry about, but if I was the type to obsessively try to control every detail, sure, why not? If it has potential to help the team even a little bit and carries no risk of hurting it, might as well.

Joe B / The Athletic A22 Breakdown
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Heitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder how Joe B is doing this without all-22 film on the U.S. version of Game Pass. If he's using the international version, he's effectively advertising to the NFL that he's accessing the content illegally, which is interesting. -
From a psychological standpoint, it will mean something to Heinecke, even if it's not in the forefront of his mind. Like I said above, if you had success against a specific uniform in a specific stadium, you will naturally have more confidence the next time. That's basic psychology. If you're immune to this, you might not be human. It's a psychological fact of human nature. Doesn't mean we'll lose, doesn't mean we won't crush them. Just is what it is -- another thing to consider. & yes I have a degree in psychology (no, that does not make me special; I'm just explaining my background) so maybe I am slightly more aware and looking out for these things than the average person. I enjoy thinking about things from this angle.

Like I said, it's one thing to factor in. Not saying it will change the game, but the facts presented are facts. I didn't say that we're going to lose because of it.

No. If you had success against a specific uniform in a specific stadium, you will naturally have more confidence the next time. That's basic psychology. I'm just saying it's a factor, not that it's necessarily a game changer.

Bobby Hart returns - signed to PS

Unbelievable. -
In Heinecke's only experience against the Bills, he came in down 17-14 in preseason and played two drives, scoring TDs on both and leading the Panthers to a win. I was there. This kind of experience for him matters; he will have confidence against our team because of this even though none of the defensive players are the same.

On Locked On Bills today, Joe Marino stressed that Heinecke has a lot of ability (can work off script, thrives off play action, can extend plays, has good deep ball, good athleticism) and might be a diamond in the rough. Said we shouldn't take him lightly and doesn't want everyone to underestimate him. Said some believe he may be the long-term answer in Washington. Said he's not like other backup QBs. @Royale with Cheese

On PFT Live just now, Chris Simms was defending Allen a bit and said the Bills' offensive weapons are way overrated and that teams only have to worry about Stefon Diggs but it's not like he's Tyreek Hill. Also said there's a reason Emmanuel Sanders is on his third team in 3 years. Not impressed with our offensive talent.

Tyrod Likely Out vs Bills Week 4

Week 1: LAR Week 2: CLE Week 3: DEN I picked them, but I'm not in that pool because I didn't know it existed (and possibly because I wouldn't have been invited). 2 years ago, I tied for best straight up picks record on the internet! Would love to participate next year.

Well, his stats this year are certainly much better than Allen's! Fitz has more experience, obviously, and was brought in to be the starter. Politics might play somewhat of a role. Fitz also may be better. That wouldn't mean that Heinecke sucks.
-
I didn't say he was the best QB in NFL history. Lol. I said he is not a scrub. Did you watch him in the playoff game or against the Giants last week? The guy can play football. He's a scrapper and a leader. I think we'll win, but it will probably be a frustrating game. This isn't like we're facing Brandon Allen or Nate Sudfeld or something like that.
-
His career? Come on. That's kind of unfair. Look at him since he's been with Washington. That's all that matters.
-
Why does everyone think Heinicke sucks? He passes the eye test, he's a gamer, a fighter, and he has great stats. His team believes in him as well. This isn't some scrub quarterback.

Bandwagon fan takes
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to Bills fan since 87's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel like some people have this attitude of, "I've been cheering for the Bills through a lot of dark times, so I'm sure as hell going to enjoy a 35-0 win when it comes!" And that's fine. The "It's better than it used to be" and "We should be thankful we have a winning team" attitude seems to be common. But I don't measure this team against what they used to be 10, 20 years ago. I measure them based on the expectation of winning a championship, and every game is an evaluation of their readiness to do that. So if I see red flags that will stop them from achieving the ultimate goal, that's absolutely what I'm going to be focusing on and talking about. Things have changed. If we were just hoping for respect and a playoff spot like we were for so many years, the attitude would be different. But those aren't the things we're after anymore. -

Wait a minute. Are you suggesting people who aren't over the moon about today's win are bandwagon fans? I feel like it's the exact opposite. -

I said nothing about us? Only observed that KC scores whenever they feel threatened. -

KC feels threatened so immediately scores a TD. So annoying.
