2005 Steelers. 2007 Giants. 2011 Giants. 2020 Buccaneers. In the past 16 seasons, four teams (that's 1/4 or 25% for you math nerds, haha) have won the Super Bowl as a road Wild Card team (and/or after barely squeaking into the playoffs). The '05 Steelers, '07 Giants, and '20 Bucs all won three games on the road en route to the Super Bowl. (The '11 Giants hosted their Wild Card game after coming away with a someone-had-to-win-it division title at 9-7, but had to win on the road thereafter.) Ultimately, maybe this is how the Bills will win a Super Bowl one of these years. After all, over the past 16 years, there's a 25% chance that the winner will take this route. If the Bills do take the "us against the world"/underdog mentality and ride it to a Super Bowl win when no one is expecting it (which I think suits this team's DNA very well, by the way), would you still crave a season where they do get homefield advantage, win two games at home, and then win the Lombardi, or would you be satisfied by the out-of-nowhere win?

Terrible execution then. Josh didn't look like tried to fake it at all. -

Wow, there's a lot of self defense built into that response. -
Week 2: Bills at Dolphins

Great post. -
I am not sure exactly what is being said here, but did you just suggest that the Bills may have been holding back, not wanting to show something to Pittsburgh? If so... no. Just no. That is a terrible wishful thinking take that always pops up after losses. That does not happen in a game like this. Awful take.

9/12/2021 Steelers @ Bills Post Game thread

Yep. Too much arm, not enough control. Most QBs throw it in a way where the receiver has to adjust to be in the right place horizontally to catch it. Allen throws it so they have to SPRINT vertically to try to get to it, and they can't. -
Because my personality is to prepare for the worst so the fall isn't as hard if it doesn't go well. It's a self-preservation thing that often pops up in people who care too much. This is legitimately confusing to me. I don't think I ever really a had a take on this particular issue. As in this post, I just reported what Josh said.

First down ding audio

I know what you mean, but I don't know that they've made the sound effect available. -
At least people are admitting that he's talked about it. Most posters here like to pretend it's a non-issue. Here Allen is literally telling you that it's an issue, and people still want to shoot the messenger because they can't handle anything but blind positivity.

Allen appeared on Bills Pod Squad with Maddy Glab and Kim Pegula yesterday and commented on getting too hyped up before games and needing to calm himself down. "When I get amped up, I get so anxious and aggressive. I come out there and I just can't throw the ball right. So I literally have to try to calm myself down as much as possible because I'm so happy I get to play football." Many posters here have criticized me and others who have brought this up, said it was fake news, etc., so here you go. Concerns about Josh's readiness to handle a full stadium of amped-up fans are warranted and a very valid discussion point. Hopefully, he'll show that he's ready to overcome these concerns.

Week 1: Steelers at Bills
Giuseppe Tognarelli replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Roethlisberger rubbed his nose like liars do when he said the offense might struggle early. I have a feeling they have something up their sleeve and feel like they can jump on us with Canada's unknown scheming. Whether or not it works remains to be seen. -
The ultimate time management hack might be eschewing live radio programs in favor of the commercial-free replay/podcast version at 2x speed. You end up taking in 3 hours of radio in less than an hour.
