  1. I said during the week that they'd attack Baltimore's strength since Baltimore will be expecting them to attack their weakness. Lol.
  2. Lol. Allen still can't throw deep. We could have two TDs already. This game is essentially over; you can't let opportunities like that go to waste against the Ravens.
  3. I understand the assumption (see examples of other compliments in OP), but it's just ridiculous. I'm not sure how one is supposed to know what's offensive and what's not. Someone needs to put out a Guide to Theoretically Insensitive Terms so we can all get smart. @32ABBA I've actually used this term quite a bit (and have been on the receiving end of it as well), and I had no idea it was "racist" until Booker.
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2019/dec/06/michael-bloomberg-cory-booker-well-spoken I thought I was misreading something when I initially saw this headline. Apparently, we're not allowed to call a minority individual "well-spoken" for fear that our compliment is actually a backhanded insult. I seriously can't with this culture anymore. At some point, we need to stop trying to be offended at things. And this is coming from a left-leaning independent. Trying to compliment a minority? Forget it, I guess. "You look nice!" Response: Are you saying that black people don't usually look nice? "You're very well spoken." Response: What, are you saying that's unusual? "You're really good at fixing things!" Response: What, does that surprise you? ?
  5. Apologies if this was discussed in the thread, but what does the Legend of the Game do? Are they honored on the field before kickoff, or...?
  6. I really believe the Bills will finish either 13-3 or 10-6 this season.
  7. Is it just me or do we still not know what color pants the Ravens are wearing? Their announcement seems to pertain to shirts only.
  8. Not trying to be funny -- was it just me or did Darnold's backside look fat on Sunday? He looked out of shape, which is strange. But maybe it's not strange if he's getting wasted after games, as rumored.
  9. Lamar Jackson: 25 rushes for 33 yards. In college. How is he doing what he's doing now in the NFL? Why can't an NFL team hold him to a statline like this?
  10. "I'm going to come through for this team when it matters... except for the Cleveland game, which would've given us the inside track to homefield advantage throughout the playoffs." This whole thing is kind of bizarre. The new quotes read like he's butthurt over the claim, which would be rather ridiculous.
  11. Who else do you have New England losing to in that scenario? They would have to lose to the Bengals or Dolphins.
  12. Yeah, somewhat misleading title. The interview was filmed several days ago.
  13. So many Bills mentions already. I like it!
  14. Anything Progressive. They definitely need to poach some of GEICO's creative team.
  15. The 49ers' statement says the guy showed "remorse." That seems like a strong word. I think some of the outrage over the suspension has to do with the concept of the guy having to be "remorseful" over this, as if it was a truly out of line/offensive comment. That really makes people feel like this PC culture is going way too far. I too struggle to come up with a way it could have been rephrased while making the same point. I wonder, and fear, if we have truly gotten to the point where it would actually be offensive to say: Lamar Jackson has dark skin. As if no one is allowed to ever acknowledge another person's skin color. It seems like we might be there.
  16. That's what she said
  17. Mike Breen is AWFUL! So punchable. "Puts it in!" "Baaaaaaang!" I know. It's like one person misspelled it and then most everyone else followed suit. ? It ain't difficult!
  18. 1. Dick Enberg 2. Mike Patrick 3. Everyone else Dan Fouts, James Lofton, Spero Dedes, and Beth Mowins are the absolute worst. Fun fact: my phone autocorrects Dedes to Feces.
  19. I love it. Sends a clear message to Hauschka and encourages fans that the Bills actually do see the problem.
  20. I don't buy the talk about it not being sold out because people can't afford it. In a region this large, there have to be more than enough Bills fans who are not so economically challenged so as to have to choose between $50 tickets and Christmas presents. I think it's mostly an issue of the weather and comfortable living rooms, and maybe there aren't as many diehards as Bills Mafia would like to think.
  21. Sellouts or lack thereof haven't affected TV airing for some years now.
