  1. He is probably the most talented WR on the roster. Which some might say is saying something, but he's probably one of the most talented WR's on several rosters. Sort of surprised we pursued him. Not exactly a process guy. We will see. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOovwqC1S9Y
  2. This is the signing that really moves the needle for them
  3. People that think the sky is falling, so you don't think we will beat out the Dolphins and Jets in the East?
  4. We will win the East at which point we will be in the same position we have been the last several years when we were supposed to be more competitive.
  5. Stafford was on one of the worst teams in football. We have won 4 straight AFC East titles. For your view to be plausible: - Josh would have to think McDermott has enough fault that it should cost him his job. - Then Josh would have to throw a coup when he doesn't fully understand where the loyalties of his peers reside. - Along with the hope being somehow those people will say, "yes, it needed to be that way for the greater good" vs "I don't trust QB1 anymore". - If Josh would go to this level he would have to hate McDermott so much he won't play here if he is here. I will say absolutely zero chance exists that Joshua David Allen would act on the scenario you're proposing. If it could be less than zero if that was possible. I actually would rather we move on from McD but it won't happen this way. Which is a reason why most in the replace him camp are even more dejected as we see no end with McD. We could miss the playoffs next year and he will still be around.
  6. I didn't think it was the sequel to Brokeback Mountain. So you envision Allen holding Pegula hostage to get rid of HC otherwise he won't sign again?
  7. Mortal Kombat and NBA Jam. Nothing is really close to them.
  8. We need more younger guys that like to yell and be controversial
  9. The relationship is a lot closer to that than somebody he's going to go behind to get out
  10. Maserati's have a higher risk of a fatal injury. They want a car that can get to a very high top speed if required but is usually on cruise.
  11. I don't think Josh is a highly assertive cut throat communicator. He is more of a roll with the punches type. I think he is likely somebody who will keep to himself unless the situation becomes intolerable. It's actually hilarious to me that people would think Allen would throw McD under the bus or ask Terry to move on. That's just not who he is and it has nothing to do with me thinking he is some sort of noble person. Maybe he is but he's mostly non confrontational off the field. It would be like him asking to fire his dad. That is the last person Allen is stepping up and creating conflict with.
  12. You think any of us can ask for for money or benefits based on previous accomplishments? Even that's an issue. It's not like Josh is the type to throw his HC under the bus.
  13. What Terry thinks and what we think are very different things. Terry thinks he has two competent men running his organization with the success to prove it. Many of us think those same men might be contributing to the reasons why we can't take the next step. Both can be right but only Terry's opinion matters and I see no evidence at all that eithers seat is even warm. Depressing as it is, we can miss the playoffs this year and both will be back in 2025.
  14. I think the data teams are accumulating based on movement such as playing speed along with data they're gathering with the use of video analysis tools will eventually outclass the opinions of draft experts by a significant enough margin that we won't have these conversations. That is just the tip of the iceberg as well. I'm sure we will see some pretty wicked advances in tech in the next few years. Now will this data eventually become available to the public? Probably. But I'm sure even this year they had some data points that the public did not have access to.
  15. When we drafted Josh we didn't know exactly what we would get. What players would be the best for him from a system standpoint. We brought in the Smurfs in droves which would usually be a nod to YAC being a focus. I think early on we wanted YAC to be a focus. Over time we have seen Buffalo consistently as one of the worst YAC teams in the NFL. We are often off schedule. We are about as far from a rhythm offense is you could get. Allens ability to buy a second or two, deliver passes in absurd windows, and literally throw additional distances to make up for YAC is what we have seen. We can fight this all we want in hopes he becomes more of a systematic passer but this is just who Allen is. I look at the Coleman pick as one of the first pieces we added knowing exactly what Josh needs. Not what a system needs. He has never had a target that is always open even if he is covered. That he can throw a 50/50 ball to with any consistency and really maximize in unstructured situations. Coleman will be that guy in spades. I also see a guy who is very good in the middle of the field. Which is an area our offense all but avoided until the Pittsburgh playoff game last year. Coleman doesn't need to run past people to be a great fit here and who he can be paired with Josh is likely far more than who he could be paired within more structured systems. We will get a ton of this his rookie year which will buy him more time to develop into a polished WR who likely will line up in multiple spots over the long run.
  16. Ya, I think it's more of the threat of it that makes it impactful
