The Chiefs are always one step ahead of the Bills...
Don Otreply replied to Awwufelloff's topic in The Stadium Wall
Post season scheming against top teams is lacking, especially on the D side, year after year we essentially play the same soft zone crap that our opponent takes advantage of, and in the end beat us because of…, We have a very reasonable chance to be back in the AFCCG, next season, but we will have to overwhelm our opponent on offense to win, jmo. GO BILLS!!! -
Anyone else for using our draft capital for trades?

My pick is the most awesome guy available, 😁👍🍸🚬 -
Josh could find a this generation Eric Moulds pretty damn useful,
-
Maybe it was because we didn’t/ don’t have a WR that has game speed and runs routes well down field, or, we could have been terribly unlucky, Cooper with a F ed up wrist pretty much since he got here, Coleman when starting to shine got jobbed by Poyer, Samuel with his toe being a f ing mess all season, wrists and feet matter (lol) for wide outs, fingers crossed 🤞 for this upcoming draft & FA, and getting our WR guys actually healed all the way, just a thought, damn unfortunate either way,

The answer to your thread title question is , Yes Time to make coffee now…,
-
Started off; taking a step back, will finish third in the AFCE, finished with fifth consecutive division title, making it to the AFCC game, going into the off season with ten, (10) draft picks and some cap space, I’m back, we have as good a chance at success as any team in the league! GO BILLS!!!

Bills hire Jason Rebrovich as assistant defensive line coach

One tech push coach -
Hopefully Keon becomes more effective going forward, 🤞

Bean lacks player evaluation skills concerning drafting WRs, this we all know,
-
I hear what you’re saying, but all teams draft for “need” all the time, BPA as some fans view it is a myth, we “need” a vertical threat WR, we “need”help at several positions on defense, it is and always has been BPA at positions of “need” yes, we “need” high quality players at those positions of need, we don’t need a RB that may be the mythical BPA, it’s all about recognizing one’s actual needs, our D had needs, that you recognized Beane didn’t see that way or whatever happened, can’t say the season was terrible, but our player evaluations /needs, needs to be revamped, lol, 😁👍

Agree, opponents Ds crowded the middle knowing that we had no viable vertical threat, we definitely need a speed guy that can run a full route tree, that would make a big impact for us,

Experience is fine as long as it comes with a nimble creative mind. -
They were doing what they were coached to do, it’s that way for all the D line guys, our coaches don’t feel that having a guy rush the QB balls out frequently is a good idea within their scheme, It’s much the same in concept with our soft coverage that gives up easy catches with some regularity, it’s the scheme not keeping up with what opposing offenses are doing throughout a game, jmo.
-
I have been thinking the same thing about coverage, it gives the appearance that they have been giving up easy passes with some regularity, it’s what I think our soft zone D is giving up too frequently, but I’m just a fan soooo…,
-
I suspect D line success isn’t just about rotation percentage, but more so which players are being used and when, just a thought,
-
Sean although the prime mover in making the Bills a contender again, (thank you) unfortunately his defense has its issues, when they are on the field all to often give up easy yards and can’t get off the field on third down to save their lives, (the hell of Sean’s soft zone / contain defense). I’m always hoping he has an epiphany and corrects these issues, fingers crossed 🤞 GO BILLS!!!

No more Sunday football until September
Don Otreply replied to philholbroo's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yup, no heart ache, no worries about beating KC in the playoffs till next season, only threads and posts about unrealistic player acquisitions / extensions, and firing coaches and or the GM, oh, and a ton of mock drafts, and fantasizing about how our FA and early round draft picks will be game changers and put us over the hump, all that and lots of pretty ridiculous off season thread starts, it’ll be great! Lol 😂👍 GO BILLS!!! -
Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season

Gambling you say, the game in which the house is guaranteed to win the vast majority of the time, the house being the NFL, there is no way such an organization would parlay such a concept into the games themselves…,
