    Quite possibly, Beane is determining what additional pieces will be needed. The Bills had to play several games for a proper assessment.

    I think we would all love to see a few long vertical connections between Allen and Brown at some point this year!

    When Allen was drafted, most of us knew that he was fairly raw by NFL standards. What we are witnessing is his apprenticeship. I believe that he is making good progress with the expected bumps in the road, and the sudden demands of a team on the rise. The very things that should make him an even better quarterback in the future.

    Going all in could become incidental if the Bills continue to play disciplined and smart football. The way they are going, it may just take care of itself.

    The trade deadline seems intriguing this year. Does anyone sense that Beane may address the offense and defense? Now that the Bills have a better idea of where they stand...reinforcements on the way?

    We need to have a look at Vincent Taylor as well. Every scouting report on him says upside.

    Another thing to remember is that the defense will get even better. I did not expect this kind of progression. Just a silent and sudden ascent.

    Yeah...this D is no longer one dimensional and it has depth. Not a lot of star power, but who cares...it works.

    It looks like Girardi and Showalter are out as well. These guys are too set in their ways to change now. Somewhere, right now, a lackey is about to be the Mets manager and he doesn't know it yet.

    Hyde and Poyer are excellent and well disciplined players. Beane gets an A+ for these guys alone. He could have folded his tent and called it a day.

    I like most of the moves that Beane has made in general. Especially his entire overhaul of the Bills and the past regime. It is the type of stuff that keeps a guy up at night.
