  1. Agreed, I’d love to see fans back in the stadium, but right now we’re all aware they aren’t. Football Sunday was a great diversion, and I enjoyed it greatly. I learned that I just want to watch football. I don’t care if these games are played in a cornfield. There’s no need to provide a fake ambience. It would definitely be something more unique if we got to hear the on field action.
  2. Beautiful stadium, you’d think SoCal would be the one place you wouldn’t need a dome though. I guess it basically serves the purpose of being a wall mount for a gigantic tv.
  3. Exactly, this dude played college ball in Georgia. If he didn’t play in a hurricane, I’m certain he’s never experienced those winds in game action. He’s definitely never played in a stadium with a lower bowl below ground level, miles from a Great Lake. My point is the winds don’t just travel in a single direction, they swirl in all directions at that stadium. It’s always interesting to observe the flags on top of the upper deck. I’ve seen them all flying in different directions a few times. It’s challenging to even analyze where the wind is going. Give him a chance, it’s not easy to kick there.
  4. I’ll take Allen over Darnold everyday, but I’m not going to issue a final judgment on Darnold’s career until Gase is gone. The Jets franchise is an absolute joke, they are what we were 15 years ago.
  5. I have no idea when the Jets even scored 17 points. They never seemed to move the ball.
  6. I’m not a Darnold fan, but you have to feel for the guy being given Hogan as a starting WR. He doesn’t have much to work with.
  7. He was a turnover machine with a questionable arm in college, I’m not sure how he became universally accepted as being so “pro ready”.
  8. Wait, I read on TBD that Lamar will become garbage, and the Ravens aren’t going to be any good this season.
  9. I agree, people forget that rookie kickers are almost always an adventure. You’re going to have growing pains. Is it worth getting rid of someone who might go on to become very good ? Once you make the choice to go with a rookie kicker, you need to be willing to go through some of those struggles imo. Obviously the time comes when you must make a choice, but that time hasn’t arrived yet.
  10. What in the world was he doing with that hurdle ? What a fool.
  11. Feels like a long time ago when Wentz was the next great one, and Pederson was a good coach.
  12. Moss running looks way too much like Gore for my liking.
  13. If Knox can make those catches on a regular basis, we have something huge.
  14. Didn’t that just work, please stop that McKenzie play, once was enough.
  15. These plays have been leading Diggs into big hits today.
  16. I don’t even know what the Jets are trying to do anymore. That franchise is a mess.
  17. Exactly, and I like Josh, but imagine that in the fourth quarter of a big playoff game.
  18. I’m a Daboll critic, but I liked that drive. Mostly straight forward play calling that allowed Josh and Diggs to make plays. Our inability to get six was completely on Josh. Those last two plays were terrible. He can’t continue to miss very easy throws at random moments.
  19. Allen trying to get Diggs hurt, but it’s nice to have someone who can make those plays.
  20. Moss has no burst. I know blocking hasn’t been good, but I’m not loving this guy yet.
  21. Yeah, the offense looks eerily identical to last season. People are going to criticize anyone saying that because this game looks like a win, but we need more from them. The hot first half start with some sloppy plays, and lethargic second half is what we saw last season. The addition of Diggs should make the offense look much different, but it hasn’t. That tells me a lot about the OC.
  22. I really want to see more Diggs. He’s a guy you need to take one deep ball shot to each game also.
