  1. I’ve been in the wrong wedding parties.
  2. I tend to think is Clemson is overrated, but I agree the ACC is a bit disrespected. It’s not the SEC, but it’s certainly not the worst. I’ve always thought the Big Ten was overrated. They have some blue bloods, but the second tier isn’t very good. It was Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State with a bunch of bad teams before the west coast schools joined.
  3. These type of stories are based solely on fan opinion. The Pegula yacht is a story because the NYC based media have taken the story and ran with it. We all have similar meltdowns when something in NYC is funded.
  4. Cheap Trick seems like the type of band that only real fans would know most songs to begin with. Sure, they have a few well known hits, but aren’t a band who can play an hour and a half of songs everyone knows. Great band, but more a critical darling and icon to rock fans who dig a little deeper.
  5. Wouldn’t it be ugly right now if Josh retired tomorrow? The NFL QB is somehow even more important than most realize.
  6. That’s pretty lame to heckle a seventh round draft pick.
  7. Rebellion has died so I don’t think the anti-Bills contrarians are as common. People these days go along with every trend. Younger generations seem to all act the same, there aren’t the many different groups/cliques we had growing up. There used to be more ways to be an individual, but influencers have ruined that. With that said, choosing to root against Buffalo is a lame form of rebellion.
  8. I get the point, but Buffalo is different geographically and demographically from places like Fresno and Bakersfield. It’s more likely to hold large scale events. As far as concerts, performers play anywhere/anytime if they get payed. Paul McCartney is playing Buffalo in November. I’m sure he isn’t remotely concerned about weather. Absolutely, you can’t compare it to larger metro areas that are surrounded by miles of desert land.
  9. Keon Coleman needs to be that guy, I know we have Shakir, but WR depth looks ugly.
  10. That was a nice throw. Mike White can look phenomenal in spots, but every great throw seems followed by a bad one.
  11. Yeah, Caleb Williams either failing or fulfilling his potential with a new highly regarded offensive head coach is the story tonight.
  12. Good to see a stop. I’ve been curious what the backup defense would do tonight. Watching Mike White play football is of zero interest though.
  13. Yeah, but those are the ultimate high character guys.
  14. Drop passes, poor depth in pass coverage, and two false starts on the first drive. These are things that we recover from in the regular season with Allen under center.
  15. These games are beyond meaningless, but I’m simply feeling thankful for Josh Allen right now, as usual. Poor fundamentals, questionable draft choices, yet none of it matters when Allen is on the field.
  16. I don’t want to overreact, but it’s frightening these guys are all one injury away from starting on defense.
  17. Bishop is garbage, end of story.
  18. Sending Hamlin on the blitz. D coordinator getting desperate.
  19. It is what it is, so I rarely comment on stadium posts anymore. I’ll probably enjoy the new stadium, and maybe it will offer a better game day experience. However, I agree with you. The defeatist attitudes are something I’ll never understand. Why this assumption we’d never attract large events? It’s Buffalo, so of course we can’t. That’s a misunderstanding of how the event business works. The Dome in Syracuse often held the tournament, and recently attracted major concerts. Maybe those concerts could have been in Buffalo, at a better venue than the old dome in Syracuse. Instead we say that nothing would happen here. I also have zero faith in “studies” that say it wouldn’t benefit the economy. Maybe I’m cynical, but when companies pay for studies, usually the study simply reflects the message they’re trying to convey.
  20. Absolutely, I get downvoted for saying this all the time, but McD is a different guy in the playoffs. I don’t know if that psychological issue can ever be solved with him. I think it’s just all a matter of how you perceive those loses.
  21. Yeah, I’m not being negative about our chances, but KC is going to be more competitive than many assume. There seems to be this hope they’ll fall apart this year. I don’t see it happening.
  22. Cade Klubnik is about to become a very overrated QB in the draft also.
  23. I was mentally prepared to lose the team at that point, and was ok with it. Things were hopeless for this franchise, and I almost felt like Toronto can have them. I just remember being frustrated by Toronto being the potential city. Losing a team to a city that close would have been worse than moving across the country. We would have heard about them too much.
  24. Exactly, we counted on guys becoming franchise QB’s who were never thought of as having that potential. Brady is the GOAT as a fifth round pick, but had immediate success. Those type of guys aren’t given years to succeed. Somehow we got stuck on players like Edwards and Fitz for years.
  25. This post encouraged me to watch CJ Spiller highlights. He would’ve been a good complementary player on a decent team. Just wasn’t what we needed at the time, especially from a first round draft choice.
