Unfortunately for Rosen, we’re not talking about him sitting and learning behind Rivers, Brady, or Roethlisberger in a stable organization with an established coaching staff. It’d be easier to see him resurfacing as a good QB if he landed in one of those spots. Miami has been a dumpster fire for a while, so Rosen has a difficult row to hoe.

Do you actually type this stuff every time, or do you just copy and paste? Genuinely curious.

Doubtful. The guy gets his off-season kicks by watching anime, doing cosplay, and giving away backpacks to kids. I’m sure there are reasons for the release, but DV or a big drug issue is highly unlikely.

Depends on if he’s actually all in for cash, or using his contract to maintain his ego. If he’s all ego he might maintain his play after getting paid so he can talk ***** after he retires like Neon Deon.

One could debate that, but I’m failing to see the argument... There might not be one at all after we see the kid in pads at SJF. ?‍♂️. We just don’t know until we see him live at this level of competition. All I know is that he did a damn good job of dodging guys in the backfield against Oklahoma, but didn’t time well in shorts. Heck, Larry Fitzgerald ran a 4.6 iirc. Some dudes are gamers.

Makes me curious. If there’s something else floating around (DUI, etc) it’ll surface in the next 48 hours or so. The timing is a little unusual with the R Foster injury, but there are plenty of reasons for a release... anything from a coaching disagreement to a promising rookie.

He’s in the same ballpark as Alfred Morris and Arian Foster. Obviously different skill sets, but success at that speed isn’t impossible.

Regular ones you buy at a dept store don’t. They top out at around $700. They have a custom shop and a luxury line “grand seiko”. The custom stuff starts around $1,000 and some of the grand Seiko go over $20k. Point is... you probably overpaid if you spent $1,000 on a Seiko.

That’s like saying you’d ditch a Rolex you found on the beach for a Sieko you bought for $1,000.

I’m fine with Brown not recalling the details of a decade old trade of a now retired player. Particularly a guy who wasn’t a Bill, and is currently coaching on the 49ers. ?‍♂️. It’s not like he screwed up Thurman’s departure for Miami.

I think Milano has a shot if he keeps improving. He has a knack for turnovers which will garner ESPN highlights... Particularly if he shows up big against large market teams. I think WEO has a point. Poyer has to be substantially better stat wise because he has no name recognition or previous following. If the pro bowl was solely a statistical analysis then Poyer would be in good shape... But... Unfortunately fan vote and sports writers matter. ?‍♂️ Like I said about Milano, Poyer will need big plays in games against large market teams.

I agree, but Hyde benefits from his time with the Packers. He made a lot of splash plays for them in prime time games, and it’s a huge fan base that looks at him fondly. Poyer doesn’t have that recognition and backing.

I agree, although I could see him signing a cheap deal with Philly, Buffalo, KC, etc. Regardless, it’ll be with a city and/ coaching staff he’s familiar with.

Going by how his improvements have occurred from college through his rookie year... I’m inclined to believe that we aren’t going to see a massive jump in Edmunds performance. Rather, he’ll just continue to never make the same mistakes he made before, and eventually we will all be trying to figure out how he got so good.

Everyone seems caught up on the 3-4 and 4-3 comparison. We should probably recall that White played in a Buddy Ryan 46 for the first half of his NFL career. Which means he was often inside shade of the RT. Go watch some Eagles highlights of the guy rag dolling a RT and Guard before running over a RB enroute to a sack. He’d have been a beast in a 3-4 too. Its really too close to call. Either guy could dominate in any scheme you put them in. They were both that freaky. Heck, you could probably stick either at 3-tech and they’d still come away with 10+ sacks a year.

I want to see 3,500 yards in the air with 1.8+:1 TD to Int ratio and completion percentage at 58% or higher. That’s enough improvement for me to keep the faith. Hopefully, he’ll hit that with an added 400+ yards on the ground. Ideally, Allen will provide about 4,200 yards of total offense, 23-26 TDs (pass and run), while throwing 13 or less interceptions. If he does that this team is likely competing for a playoff spot unless there are serious injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

Taller? How? AB is 5’10”. Davante Adams is 6’1”. OBJ (who I mentioned earlier) is 5’11”... All three reliably win contested catches. I agree that separation matters. I’m saying that body control coupled with attitude and vertical matter more than height. Literally, guys with average to short height can out perform a lot of the tall guys on contested catches if they possess other elite traits. Just for future reference... I’ll put out a prediction for future reference. Deebo Samuel and AJ Brown will be better than DK Metcalf and Hakeem Butler with contested catches and YAC. AJ and Deebo own the ball... Attitude and body control.

Adams is a freak at jump balls. The other factor to consider is how he and Brown manage to catch balls outside of the field of play while keeping their feet in bounds. They have elite concentration and body control.

True, but height isn’t always indicative of skill set. Some WRs play a lot bigger than their listed size. Davante Adams and OBJ aren’t “big WRs”, but if offensive success is predicted on jump balls and contested catches I can’t think of two players I’d rather have. That’s not to say we have anyone with that level of talent on the team, but vertical, body control, and attitude can go a long ways.
