  1. I saw a bunch of guys say look he doesnt have a ROCKET arm but when they compared his arm strength they directly compared it to Brady, Manning(both mannings), Montana, there was one other successful..maybe Brees they also put in there and said he has the same/equal as those guys....not great NOT a noodle arm.
  2. Kicker may also...you dont draft a kicker unless you are concerned about the one you got.
  3. Look who it from they HATE the Bills and always have.
  4. A hit all the needs didnt overpay for anything and got the WR we needed at a LESSER cost than trading up would have cost you
  5. Guess they are really telling everyone after Diggs,Brown and Beasley you better be ready to fight for a job!
  6. Finally since who...probably Polian? a guy that can draft...
  7. thats why I said the only guys hating this pick are any current Bills WR NOT named Diggs,Beasley or Brown lol...this was that warning shot across the bow saying....we got this guy because we need more from the 4th WR back/down...AkA be ready to put in some work!!!!
  8. Why wouldn't we like him? Only guys that dont like him is the WR Bills have that are not Diggs,Brown or Beasley lol
  9. He will jsut go right into the rotation I dont think they make a trade they are just getting him ready to be THE guy when some of these contracts (like Murphys) run out then they already have that hole plugged.
  10. Needed this....as we see.,..EVERY year someone would go down in either RB or WR and we would be left signing guys off the street or PS guys you had but did you really WANT TO HAVE TO start them vs top opponents??happened for years now even when we had Shady.....now at least you have a shot to have at least 1 HEALTHY GOOD RB aka a non PS or street FA healthy...
  11. Ive seen him live 2X as a PSU ticket holder hes legit
  12. I had to wait to see how the first round worked out to give the grade. I now have the results and I say A for the top players at WR in this draft you would have needed to jump from 22 to 12 what would that have cost? im guessing more still than the original package I just dont think you could have jumped from 22 to 12 with a couple 5th's and 4ths or what ever it was exactly(i think im close) AND they got PROVEN vs potential and a guy on a cap friendly contract also and thats young... So they got a guy thats probably at least the equivalent of the best WR in this draft, thats PROVEN, that they couldnt have gotten the equal of at #22 had they stayed put...I mean the guy Minn got would probably be the WR Bills would have gotten and if I had to assign a ...what % shot do you think does Jefferson have to be as good as or better than Diggs??? Id give that a less than 20% shot. So I graded it a A....NOW all we need to do is see if the Bills have the QB to make this all work.
  13. Of the realistic options not dumb ***** like kickers and long snappers...WR im good with just about anything else but you got Diggs/Brown/Beasley and fill in the blanks for the rest with Diggs acquirement its not THE top priority it was..now you can pretty much get BPA from your board..which is a good thing...
  14. Not even close totally different attitudes and character, that was Manziels downfall..he is was probably still is a cocky POS as a human being and that got in his way. He didnt have a drive to be a great football player he had a drive to be popular and famous and was a HEY LOOK AT ME!!!!! guy.. Tua isnt. Only thing holding him back IMO is that he truly may never be the same after that injury and he has been prone to injury..so IMO what will hold him back? Injuries, injury prone.. but surely NOT what held Mainzel back which was a bad attitude and not wanting to be the best.
  15. Honestly if I was the Bills GM/HC id have (because they have the $$) someone set up my rec room war room den where ever they do this from..to look just like the bridge of the Enterprise and have all the draft guys sitting around in the various positions..you know Beane in the Capts chair.....Mc D where Spock stood/sat..etc,etc,etc....that would be Hysterical...
  16. Here was my thoughts on why he was let go......$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
  17. Nice having a GM that can manage a cap, get good players here WITHIN that cap, look forward to the next new/big contracts and the ability to let guys walk if they are too much $$. Plus they have drafted decently. And now if something goes on they have IN SEASON cap room to make moves. Remember ***** GM's and teams that were close to the cap but GARBAGE as a team...the only reason you should ever be cap tight or even close to it and suck is catastrophic injuries to a otherwise good/playoff caliber team... But if you're a team that just sucks and you're a 5-10-7-9(at best) team and you're cap tight OR lets switch gears and you're a league worst bottom 5 or 8 team like say the Sabres and cap tight that reaks of INCOMPETENCE in GM and Ownership/management. a bottom feeder thats cap tight is run by a incompetent GM/management team. and by the opposite a playoff caliber team thats got 15-30+ million left to use is very well run...normally if youre very competitive youre close to the cap(within 5 million or less) if youre a playoff team and you got 20 million+ youre in good!
  18. Im good with that...Youre giving away possible "fringe" starter type picks and a first..and YOU ARE NOT getting a WR of Diggs caliber at #22...and if you traded up to get one what would that have cost you?? probably about what you gave up in that trade OR MORE id we meant WAY up to get a guy possible of Diggs caliber because for that you have to get into the top 10. IMO there isnt a guy after the first few(3) off the board thats gonna be Diggs caliber. for me if you were thinking WR in the first your not getting Diggs at #22
  19. I think GMing is a giant crap shoot either way...Polian was great but when you look at his FULL drafts..there are a LOT of who the hell is that guys in there also...I just think the good ones hit on guys we consider stars then we look past the other(remember the draft was longer back then too) who the F was that types because they got Thurman Thomas that year For instance this was the Thurman Thomas draft TT was first that got left off but he was first and other than Carlton Bailey there are a ton of WTF is that in there and I guess Jeff Wright I remember him as a undersized NT OF 40 RB 13 1988 2000 2 5 10 112 182 0 1 0 0 0 2877 12074 65 472 4458 23 Oklahoma St. 3 Bernard Ford 65 WR 2 1989 1990 0 0 0 1 24 17 176 2 Central Florida 5 Ezekial Gadson 123 DB 0 0 0 Pittsburgh 5 Kirk Roach 135 K 0 0 0 West. Carolina 6 Dan Murray 150 LB 2 1989 1990 0 0 0 0 4 East Stroudsburg 7 Tim Borcky 177 T 0 0 0 Memphis 7 Bo Wright 184 RB 0 0 0 Alabama 8 John Hagy 204 DB 3 1988 1990 0 0 1 6 28 Texas 8 Jeff Wright 213 NT 7 1988 1994 0 0 5 30 98 Central Missouri St. 9 Carlton Bailey 235 LB 10 1988 1997 0 0 6 44 142 North Carolina 10 Martin Mayhew 262 DB 8 1989 1996 0 0 7 41 118 Florida St. 11 Pete Curkendall 289 DT 0 0 0 Penn St. 12 John Driscoll 309 T 0 0 0 New Hampshire 12 Tom Erlandson 82 WR Don Beebe 9 1989 1997 0 0 4 33 116 4 28 0 219 3416 23 Chadron St. 4 John Kolesar 109 WR 0 0 0 Michigan 5 Michael Andrews 137 DB 0 0 0 Alcorn St. 6 Sean Doctor 164 RB 0 0 0 Marshall 7 Brian Jordan 173 DB 3 1989 1991 0 0 2 13 36 Richmond 7 Chris Hale 193 DB 4 1989 1992 0 0 0 4 43 USC 9 Pat Rabold 249 DT 0 0 0 Wyoming 10 Carlo Cheattom 276 DB 0 0 0 Auburn 11 Richard Harvey 305 LB 11 1990 2000 0 0 5 33 143 Tulane 12 Derrell Marshall But the 85,86,87 drafts were what built that team to a SB team, Polian always seemed to hit on 1 or 2 guys but a LOT of the others were who?? lol
  20. Id cross out Division Title and insert PLAYOFFS and then id agree...
  21. Guessing they stay true to form and IF they go edge in FA they go with a guy a lot will say isnt that good but they think can be good in a ROTATIONAL role. maybe someone like Alexander was the year he came over...older guy that can still get to the ball but they may feel he can still be effective in a rotational role so he doesnt have to be out there as long..I would be surprised if they spent bigger $$ there.
