  1. No one knows at present. The likely word is no, since the NFL wants to incentivize Peacock subscriptions. We'll know more Wednesday. See my updated answer below.
  2. They were good enough for Bills players and staff in the 80's! 😅
  3. Bars pretty much have to have Peacock. One of the wild card games will be exclusively on Peacock. Patrons will complain en masse if that isn't shown. It's also free if you have Xfinity or Spectrum.
  4. I can take that. In your scenario, there would be two WC rematches: Broncos at Bills and Bengals at Jaguars.
  5. Had to go back and look. Tons of roster turnover. Allen and Dawkins are the only offensive ones, but for the rest: Tre'Davious White Reid Ferguson Jordan Poyer Micah Hyde Taron Johnson Matt Milano Jordan Phillips Shaq Lawson Siran Neal Dean Marlowe
  6. Based on this chart, the following teams 12 have never surrendered a home game to play in the International Series: AFC: Baltimore Pittsburgh Houston Indianapolis Denver NFC: New York Giants (actually "visitors" in 2007 despite what the chart said) Philadelphia Washinton Chicago Detroit Carolina Seattle
  7. Jerry Jones said on Wednesday that he does not want to give up a home game for Brazil, as he prefers to instead wait until 2025 to play in Mexico despite only having eight home games in 2025. But he is willing to play an away game internationally in 2024. He reiterated that he does not want to give up any home games at all if he had his way since the Cowboys have the highest home attendance in the NFL. https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/jerry-jones-has-preferred-int-l-destination-for-cowboys "However, one location that does drive interest within Jones is Mexico where the Cowboys' organization has a large amount of fans that drive revenue both abroad and back in Texas. "When we aren't playing here, I want to be in Mexico City," he said. "Period. Mexico City is good and close. If I'm going international, I want to play in Mexico City. Mainly because of our fans and our following and the affinity that we get here back home in the United States." "When we go there on any basis, we increase the affinity for the Cowboys with our hispanic fan base in the United States. That's where we want to be." Jones also left the door open to being a visiting team for an international game, but the league has not scheduled the Cowboys abroad since their lone game overseas in London back in November 2014 when Jacksonville was the home team."
  8. Just the basic tier, which is, ironically, called "Peacock Premium". The "Premium Plus" is the higher tier which is ad free and allows you to get your local NBC channel. https://www.peacocktv.com/#ib-section-section-13
  9. And the other obvious reason is it's Denver. Do you trust them more than Buffalo?? No one does.

  11. As a quick aside, people in the UK can win an X-Box, Samsung TV, DAZN subscription, and Madden NFL 24 by sharing and liking the NFL UK's twitter post and following them by December 26:
  12. interesting idea on Austin Jenkins, but he is not really at the level of a star a DMA would cowtown too, like a Bijan Robenson or a Josh Allen. Areas do cowtown for high school stars, but they have to be big, like Tua, who went to high school in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. That DMA shows Miami whenever they have the chance. It probably has more to do with Chicago snowbirds being in that area. EDIT: Last week, Fort Myers got DET-CHI, so it does seem like they have a Chicago thing, catering to the snowbirds.
  13. BTW, speaking of Brazil and Mexico, as a quick aside and not that they mean anything, but Buffalo moves up five spots from 10 to 5 in the Week 15 Brazil power rankings: And nine spots from 15 to 6 in the Week 15 Latinx power rankings:
  14. NFL Germany: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NFL Mexico: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NFL Brazil:
  15. Nueve is free in Mexico, but you do need an afizzionados subscription. It televises a game a week in Mexico. This week they are showing Tampa Bay at Green Bay. It' now only $2.45 USD a month (regularly $6.95 USD a month). https://www.izzi.mx/afizzionados Oh, and in case anyone is interested, here is the NFL Brazil broadcasts this week:
  16. Was that rule in effect when Minneapolis held SB XXVI in 1992? Or when Detroit had it?
  17. UPDATE: [sorry Rochester] FOX Early: Rochester NY: KC-NE to NYG-NO (Wed) Map has been changed.
  18. It has never been held on a Valentine's Day before. It was held on February 13 in 2022, a day before Valentine's Day. Women complained a lot on Tik Tok, apparently: https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/super-bowl-2022-valentines-day-weekend-b2012012.html People are not happy after learning the 2022 Super Bowl will take place Valentine’s Day weekend “I wanna talk to whoever decided that Super Bowl Sunday was on Valentine’s Day weekend because they are def single,” one woman named Elena, who goes by the username @elenaa_l10, wrote on TikTok, as she mouthed: “What’s going on?”: In another video from a woman named Ava, who goes by the username @definetlynotava8, she wrote: “To the person that moved the Super Bowl to Valentine’s Day weekend… I don’t think you understand how much you ruined.” There are lots more in the link above. I never understood why this day was such a big deal.
  19. Good read. I hadn't known about why the NFL wasn't going to Mexico City. For those who didn't click: "NFL explains 2024 game absence in Mexico City and announces new host countries" "Mexico, especially Mexico City's iconic Estadio Azteca, holds a special place in the NFL's international circuit. This legendary stadium has witnessed NFL regular-season games in 2005, 2016, 2017, 2019, and most recently in 2022. However, fans looking forward to experiencing the thrilling spectacle of American football in Mexico will have to have a bit more patience. The hiatus is due to the ongoing renovations at Estadio Azteca, which won't be completed in time for the 2024 season. However, it's not a final goodbye. With renovations expected to wrap up by the following year, the NFL has indicated the potential return of the sport to Mexico City in 2025." And some tweets from that article: From this past summer: From September: [But there's only going to be one regular season game in Germany next year. Maybe pre-season too? Or the article is wrong.] Good analogy. Or, another way to put it: "penny-wise but pound foolish".
