  1. But you don't get the NFL Christmas games there on Boxing Day (unless you have DAZN), since ESPN s showing NBA all day!
  2. Wasn't there someone from Washington who was supposed to come here last year, but reneged? Someone here called him McKittrick I think too.
  3. Gotta hand it to the Brits; they have a unique sense of humor! [These are from the NFL UK twitter...too cumbersome to post all the images I have below as tweets since they are replies to one another]
  4. James Cook did not win Player of the Week in the UK. Sigh...
  5. Us old schoolers missed a ton of games in the 80's and 90's (and before) due to local blackouts. About once every year or two, a large corporation like Bells or Tops bought out the remaining tickets on Wednesday or Thursday so we could watch the game on TV (usually NBC). But the primary alternative for most was Van Miller's call on the radio. Ahhh...the (not so) good ole' days.
  6. DirecTV sent techs to only the top chain restaurants (national accounts) such as Buffalo Wild Wings and Hooters in TEGNA markets to install the antennas with standalone ATSC tuners to plug in to their matrix system, but the independent bars and smaller chains would have to pay for them. The game is live on NFL+, confirmed on RedZone Sunday. Also:
  7. Adrian Hill was our referee in Week 4 at home vs. Miami. [And I stole the "Yo Adrian!" idea from @Big Turk who made this post in the Week 4 referee thread!] NFL Capsules Week 16: https://nflcommunications.com/Documents/2023 Football Information/Capsules/Week 16 Capsules.pdf [third game from top] Adrian Hill - 5th season as referee Pos. The culprit in this particular day ending in “Y” is referee Adrian Hill and his crew, who made more than one atrocious call. The first blown call took a touchdown off the board for the Ravens. With 5:15 left in the first half, Lamar Jackson hit receiver Zay Flowers on a quick pass, and Flowers did the rest, taking the ball for what certainly looked like a 68-yard touchdown. Somehow, Hill’s crew called holding on receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and the touchdown was nullified. "Then, with 54 seconds left in the first half, Jackson threw an incomplete pass to Flowers, but Bengals cornerback DJ Turner was flagged for defensive pass interference. If you can see defensive pass interference anywhere on this play, you have better eyes than we do." https://detroitjockcity.com/2021/01/05/detroit-lions-officiating-sunday-unjustifiable/ "Detroit Lions: Officiating Sunday simply unjustifiable and horrendous NFL officials continue to disrespect the Detroit Lions. Even after Sunday’s officiating debacle, referee Adrian Hill defended his decision to throw a flag on Detroit Lions safety Tracy Walker. As the Detroit Lions hosted their NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings in the final week of the regular season, the NFL officials once again added to their awful history of atrocious calls against the Detroit Lions. "As you can see, this call came at a vital time in the ball game. Walker made the play, and as you watch the replay, Walker didn’t put his entire body weight on Cousins; he clearly tries to roll off. Unfortunately, that’s not how Adrian Hill saw it." https://bloggingdirty.com/2022/11/12/refs-historical-mistake-cost-atlanta-falcons/ "Refs made historical mistake that may have cost the Atlanta Falcons "Anyways, the incident occurred when the Falcons’ offense had the ball in a second down needing one yard for the first with about 12 minutes remaining in the third quarter. They handed the ball off to Tyler Allgeier who picked up nine yards, but as they did so frequently, they called holding on Parker Hesse. As everyone knows, offensive holding is a ten-yard penalty, I repeat ten-yard penalty, but apparently, Adrian Hill and his crew of officials decided that they would change the rules just this one time and make it a 13-yard penalty, because, you know, the NFL has to punish the Falcons for playing terrible in primetime again. The second-down play started at Carolina’s 28-yard line, Allgeier carried the ball for nine yards to the 19-yard line, and the holding penalty was enforced on the 28-yard line (as it should be) but somehow the ball ended up all the way back at the 41. I am pretty sure 28 + 10 is not 41. It was even marked down as a 13-yard penalty on the NFL’s own play-by-play summary:
  8. Yep...many athletes in IFBB are on the gear (including women). But in INBF, you are drug tested and have to pass a lie detector test.
  9. Well then... I am going to start listening! [I dud try it before and no luck...maybe I did it wrong.]
  10. Yeah, I wanted to stream WGR radio on Audacy, but that is not allowed if you're outside the Buffalo area. Also, what's everyone going to do when there are more Peacock games, presumably, next year?
  11. It's on NFL+. RedZone confirmed it Sunday. Here is a screenshot of the upcoming game too:
  12. This thread needs to be pinned. [WTF, it was started by a moderator!!! 😉 ]
  13. Awesome to learn this! Here is the link: https://www.instacart.com/p/peacock
  14. I hear ya--It takes hard work! These guys are all 65+:
  15. I just re-read the link. It has changed for Xfinity TV customers: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/peacock-subscription-faqs "What's happening with Peacock on Xfinity? Peacock Premium is no longer included at no additional cost for all X1 and Flex customers. However, a new offer may be available to you depending on eligibility requirements. If you’re not eligible for an offer and don’t wish to subscribe to Peacock, you’ll still get a free sample of Peacock programming." "Peacock Premium (currently $5.99 per month) is no longer included at no additional cost for Xfinity X1 and Flex customers. However, you may be eligible for a new offer." But it is available for free for Xfinity NOW customers. Not sure what that is: "NOW TV customers: You can receive Peacock Premium included as part of your service.* If you currently receive Peacock Premium with your Flex service, you may need to reactivate by going to xfinity.com/activate-peacock." When did this change? Right before the Bills game??? It seems like there is a coordinated effort to make people subscribe to Peacock.
  16. It's from his twitter profile. Another pic has him doing body building in 2013: https://www.muscleandfitness.com/flexonline/npc/butch-rolle/ They do have classes for each age group, like Master I, Masters II. I know the specific powerlifting age classes, but not am not familiar with body building.
