That’s why I asked the question. I’m not sure where Christie is getting this story from.

I am listening to an interesting interview with Steve Christie on Pat Moran’s podcast. He talks about coming to Buffalo in 1992, and mentions that when he arrived in town to sign the deal there were 1,500 Bills fans protesting outside of One Bills Drive. They were protesting in loyalty to Scott Norwood, who by all accounts was a terrible kicker at this point. He said many well-known Bills players gave him the cold shoulder because they were friends of Scott. Ironically after the Bills cut Scott, he wouldn’t get picked up by any other NFL team after the Super Bowl in early 1992. As I said, he was a very unreliable kicker at this point his career. My question to any old-time Bills fans - do you remember this happening? I do remember the Christie signing and knew he was the kicker from TB, but I don’t recall any outrage over his signing. Not shortening the list. It’s all about which coaches will not return to their teams in 2019. Also if an an interim coach takes over and isn’t given the HC coach job, they basically have been relieved of their duties. It’s a nicer way of saying they were fired So basically 6 fired coaches?

What has Dave Culley ever done? Outside of coaches WR’s?

I was reading an interesting list of coaches who might be on the hot seat in the NFL. So I wanted to see what this group though. The poll lists some of the coaches who I feel may be less than very secure for next season. Of course, some are long shots but I wanted to list them just in case. Select any of the coaches that you think will be fired or relieved from their duties, either before or after Week 17.

I think his hot reputation last year after the Super Bowl gets him another OC job. But if not, I would take him in a heart beat as WB coach.

Cleveland fans are pumped and I would be too. I think the other 4 QB’s have shown enough for each fan base to feel optimistic. Rosen, Allen, and Darnold, are all on very poor offenses with limited talent around them. It’s hard to get an evaluation after year 1, but I think they’ve done well so far. Jackson has a little bit offense and better talent around him. While he didn’t put up huge passing numbers, I think he did decent enough. I would agree that running him 26 times is not sustainable and like Allen, he will need to show that he can beat teams with his arm to be a great QB. I think perhaps, the most encouraging out of the 4 is Allen. Not because he looked the best, but because already we are seeing him elevate the bad talent around him. We’ve also seen occasional flashes. Funny but for a “parody of a QB” (by Football Outsiders) he’s really not doing too bad and doing much better than fan boys turned self-appointed “Draft scouts” like Johnny Ledyard and Joey Marino predicted. What exactly did Henry day?

I don’t think Sal is quite as bad as Sully. He’s pretty much fair and like a lot of us, he loses patience with the constant losing over the past 2 decades. It really can’t be fun following a team that perpetually went 7-9 for 20 years. One thing about Sal, some of his take are not very good. He is critical but then he’ll defend someone who isn’t performing well. Case and point, he get Rex Ryan should have been given another year.

He could take the place of Brian Gaine who did some good work in that spot. Big Reg honestly got screwed when they hired Gruden. He probably should have asked Oakland to fire him because he essentially was neutered

All reports say otherwise. They certainly could have traded Shady, but they didn’t get the return they were looking for. my guess is that teams offered a 6th round pick and the Bills probably wanted a 4th

Truthfully it’s a mix of all 3, but if you had to pin it on one unit, it HAS to be the Special Teams

My uneducated guess is that it’s not that severe but could cost him a few weeks. Shady will play through any injury...he’s tough. But yep...I agree. I think the Bills need to move next year. Good news - you can find a decent RB very easily

More evidence that Crossman is probably gone

Yeah I’d be fine with this move. But there’s a chance Crossman is the one who got him hired, so would he really do anything different?

Listen to McDermott’s postgame comments. There are two areas he is VERY displeased with and has publicly out: 1. Special Teams 2. Offensive Line (specifically the run game) I think that Crossman is basically a forgone conclusion. He will be dismissed. I also believe there’s a good chance Castillo gets the boot too. As for Culley and Robiske, I don’t see any moves. Most people would agree that Allen has had a better rookie year than we expected. Why do you get rid of the QB coach? I can see the Bills brining in another Q/C Assistant to help him at QB. No idea how you can evaluate Robiske, but take a look at young talent like Foster and McKenzie along with the (occasional) improvement of Zay Jones. TR doesn’t deserve to be fired.
