  1. When it comes to a GM, he stunk about as bad as the stalls in old Ralph Wilson Stadium in the early 1990’s. If you’ve had to go #2 in those stalls, you know what I mean
  2. I remember. That’s why I put him on this list Yep....only thing was he sucked in 3 out of the 4 Super Bowls. He almost won Super Bowl 25 singelhandedly and just about lost Super Bowl 28 singelhandedly. He was invisible during 26 and 27.
  3. He didn’t have the type of season he had last year, but he also hasn’t struggled for 3 weeks straight like White has. Sorry but at this point Ramsey is on a higher than Tre. Did you watch the last 3 Bills games? If so, re-watch them. You’ll see why he didn’t make the Pro Bowl. The problem with Poyer, Hyde, Alexander, and Kyle is that they played very well but don’t have the big numbers that jump out at you.
  4. And I’m not saying he is a bad CB by any means. I just don’t think he has played at a high level with consistency the past 3 weeks.
  5. Nope your wrong. He is not at the “elite tier.” At least not yet. As I said he is a quality starting CB. He has been excellent at time this year as you stated above. It would not surprise me if he does become elite, but IMO he’s not the yet In my opinion, his overall body of work does not exceed any of the 4 starting CB’s selected to the Pro Bowl in the AFC. Also the last stretch of games where he has played poorly hurts him a lot. Yes the best CB’s will have a down game. Rarely will you see them have 3 down games as White has had. Also your point about INT’s is only partially correct. As we’ve seen over the past 3 weeks, team DO target White and they do it with success. His coverage has been good pretty good but he has failed to find the football in coverage.
  6. Yep I understand. But it’s 3 games in a row where he has struggled. He also only has 1 INT. I’m not saying that he sucks, but he hasn’t played well for nearly the last quarter of the season and IMO he doesn’t deserve a Pro Bowl spot over the other 4 who got in.
  7. Overall he has a much better year than White. He has more INT’s too. Also, when did Ramsey give up a game changing catch to Robbie Anderson on the last drive of the game? He’s a very good CB. He is not one of the top 4 in the AFC
  8. Also not good in Miami. Look, White had a great stretch of football games. His matchups on Thelin/Diggs and with Hopkins were stellar. But he also has given up a lot of plays and never came up with the big INT like many of the top CB’s often do
  9. Nope. Telling it like it is. He was Pro Bowl caliber for a few weeks. He hasn’t been so great over the past 3 weeks. Just as Devante Parker, Scottie Anderson, or Kenny Galloday. just saying - you don’t see Jalen Ramsey, or Xavien Howard struggle like that. White has been good overall. Not better than any of the CB’s selected. He needs to put together an entire season of Pro Bowl play.
  10. Talley should have been an option but I remember him sucking bad in the Super Biws. He’s one of the guys who couldn’t bring down Mark Ingram in SB 25
  11. White does not deserve to play in the Pro Bowl. He has sucked the past few weeks. He’s a good CB, not one of the best
  12. He’s certainly a candidate. The thing that makes it tough is that there isn’t a standout unfortunately
  13. This is tough because while Thurm has some great games - SB25, Miami ‘93, KC ‘94, he also was a GOAT in the other 3 Super Bowls. He essentially lost Super Bowl 28. I can’t give him the nod here He played what? Three postseason games? Is that enough?
  14. Topic time! This time we gonna keep this completely positive. If you were around in the 90’s you saw a lot of Bills playoff games. So my question is: Which Bills player was most clutch in the postseason? This is actually a tough question, because overall I feel that the Bills has their ups and downs. So mark your choice and let me know what you think.
  15. Ok so let’s take QB’s out of the equation. But what makes a great analyst is actual NFL experience - either as player, coach, or talent evaluator. The OP point was the people who are heavily critical about Allen are the ones with ZERO experience analyzing NFL QB’s. It’s a well-stated point - as Barnwell, Schoop, Ledyard, etc have never actually done ANYTHING in football. See, I could LOVE the medical industry. I watch ER on TV, all kinds of operations on YouTube, and have even read any medical journals. Do you want me performing surgery on you? No, probably not. Why? Because I’m not qualified. The people in the know, have tempered their analysis about Allen like many of us have. It’s early to say if he’ll be good or bad. We just don’t know. Yet it doesn’t stop the clowns in the media from spouting off an uninformed opinion AND it doesn’t stop foolish people from believing that these clowns actually know something about football. They don’t
  16. Say what you will but there have been a lot of big fan nose guards. Few were as effective as Ted Washington was. Yes he ate up space but he also made some big tackles. Kudos to Ted E. for speaking his mind
  17. Never heard of him....but RIP
  18. To be a critic, no. But to completely understand what it takes to be a QB and how to run an offense....you do. You are so wrong. People like Bill Barnwell, Mike Schopp, or Cian Fahey have no clue what they are talking about. If you think they are knowledgeable, you are fooling yourself
  19. Whether it was “Jennifer” or someone trying to spoof her, it’s clear the intent of those tweets were to get Bills Dad in trouble. It’s very sad
  20. Wrong...just saying that they have a deeper understanding of what is required to successfully play the position on many levels. The Ledyard’s or Barnwell’s of the world do not. FACT
  21. I think he’s illustrating the difference between an informed opinion and an uninformed opinion. He makes a valid point
  22. This is what Aaron Schatz of Football Outsiders said. I can agree that the jury is out on Allen, but you can’t argue that his play this season exceeded this very bleak outlook last Spring: “A parody of an NFL quarterback prospect, Allen was abysmal in 2017 en route to not even making an all-Mountain West team. We don't want to say there's absolutely no chance he'll ever be good – he's got a deep ball, he's got some ability to make plays on the run and under pressure – but there is zero empirical evidence to support him becoming a reasonable NFL starting quarterback. And if you thought the excuses for his supporting cast were bad in Wyoming, wait till you see this Bills offense. ... Allen is the battleground that old scouts are going to die on, whether they're right about it or, as all evidence suggests, wrong about it." https://buffalonews.com/2018/07/24/josh-allen-take-football-outsiders-bills-almanac-scouts/
  23. He has a very good point. The people who are Allen’s loudest critics have never played 1 down of college of NFL football. Nor have the ever worked in an NFL scouting Department. This is what I’m saying about having an informed vs uninformed opinion. - Jon Ledyard - Joe Marino - Bill Barnwell - Cian Fahey - Mike Schopp (never played any sports) - Aaron Schatz - Jerry Sullivan - @WhyteDwarf
