  1. I was at the Chargers game week 2. Didn’t see anyone jumping through tables but there was plenty of drinking, drinking games and shotgunning beer in the parking lots. I also did see two fights in the stands before and during the 3Q. To me it seems about the same though I would agree less video on Bills Mafia antics
  2. Rumor around here is that @Gugny is Jerry Sullivan. No one wants to confirm or deny this, which leads me to believe that it is Jerry Sullivan himself. Can say for sure though. HELP
  3. He said Josh was 9th last week. Anyway....23rd is not horrible for a rookie
  4. PEOPLE @Gugny IS JERRY SULLIVAN!?!?!?!! can someone confirm of deny if Gugny is he?
  5. Interesting quote from Mike Rodak over at ESPN. People with an anti-Josh Allen agenda (Bill Barnwell, Mike Schopp, Cian Fahey) want to use his completion % to try to confirm their bias that “he sucks.” But his adjusted completion percentage, which actually provides context, shows that his performance was a bit stronger than his stats:
  6. Typical Sully....quoting an 80’s song. How are thinks going over at Buffalo Mavens?
  7. Slot or on the outside....it won’t matter because he keeps dropping passes. He can make catches if he’s wide open, but seems to have some really bad drops. I think his play this year warrants a roster spot but the Bills better bring in some competition at WR
  8. Ted was a great choice. I think Bruce Paup was a huge FA hit too, though it was very short-term
  9. Big part of his success is the offense. I credit that to Baker and Freddie Kitchens more than Williams. Still, numbers don’t lie and you can’t discredit the work he’s done this year
  10. Ironically Tim said in the 1990’s the Bills has 2 #1 WRs in Andre Reed and James Lofton. If anything, I’d say Lofton was a true #2 on those teams. I totally understand why. It’s not an easy answer to determine whether Stevie was #1.
  11. If we are taking starters, I think there are only 2 guarantees: Allen Dawkins I think there’s a decent chance these players either start or get a lot of time: Teller Jones Foster I see these players getting situational plays. They’ll stay on the team but probably not considered for starting roles: McKenzie Croom Bodine McDermott Ivory The rest of the players are up in the air.
  12. I was listening to the Tim Graham Show from last week and everyone debated exactly what a “true #1” receiver meant. Tim was saying that a #1 is a taller WR that you can continually throw the ball to, that can change games etc. I’m thinking he meant guys like Julio Jones or D’Andre Hopkins. He believes that many teams don’t have a #1 WR. He thinks that most teams get by with 2 good #2 WR’s. He said that Davante Adams, and Adam Thelin are not a #1 WR and neither was Wes Welker when he played in NE or any slot WR’s. While those players led the league in targets and/or receptions they weren’t a “#1 WR.” They actually brought James Lofton on the show and he disagreed. I guess if Thelin makes 103 catches and Michael Thomas (Who TG said is a #1) has 102, how is Thelin not a #1 whereas Thomas is? The whole conversation started when people referred to Zay Jones as the Bills “#1 WR.” He said he is not a #1 and that is ceiling is probably a #2. So how do you define who a “#1 WR” really is and what’s the difference between a #1 WR, #2 WR and even a #3 WR?
  13. Well that’s an extremely negative outlook. There are are a few things we learned this year - a season that granted, was not expected to be a playoff year. Here is the good: - Josh Allen is far from a finished product, but he fared much better than some of the Twitter draft pundits anticipated. It certainly seems that he’s a QB worth building around. - Zay Jones showed some good flashes this year, thought still a bit inconsistent. He’s probably not good enough yet to be a #2, but could be a solid contributor as a slot WR. - Robert Foster and Isiah McKenzie are young WR’s worth keeping around. Again, we aren’t talking about a #1, maybe not a #2 even, but fast players who can contribute. - Matt Milano showed he’s a LB worth retaining. As long as his rehab goes well, the Bills have a solid starter LB for years to come. - Shaq Lawson proved he is a capable rotational DE. Maybe not worthy of a 1st round pick from far from the bust many of us thought. - Secondary again is the strength of the team. Poyer, White and Hyde has great years. But the Bills look to be adding solid depth with Wallace, Bush, and Johnson. - Wyatt Teller may be good enough to earn a starting spot next season. It’s been a season of high’s and low’s for him. - Lorenzo Alexander is amazing. He seemed to excel this year and he’s worth a new contract at the end of the year. The Bad: - McCoy appears to have lost a step. Add RB to many of the offensive needs. - Offensive line is absolutely dreadful. The Bills will need to fill 3 or maybe 4 spots. The best OL member Dion Dawkins has had a very average year at LT. - The Bills still lack great pass rusher. They have many good players like Hughes and Murphy but lack someone that can truly change a game. - Tremaine Edmunds has has a year of ups and downs. His play will need to continue to improve. - There’s a huge hole on the OL and at WR. The Bills will need (at least) 2 quality WR’s. - TE is an absolute joke. Jason Croom can be an ok TE for some pass packages but is not consistent enough. Charles Clay is a goner
  14. Bevause it’s and interesting topic. 2 guys turn down 1 of 32 HC openings and their careers take a downward spiral. Lighten up, there Mr, Grinch. It’s Holiday season
